Terrible. Please do not go with these people. My experience has been horrendous. They made decisions without consultation or me knowing or understanding the full details despite being told ‘you won’t pay extra outside of what your insurance has paid’. prior. People they ‘subcontracted’ to (not AusCoast) were awful, inexperienced and unprofessional. Multiple complaints from neighbours about swearing, throwing rubbish on the street etc. Not to mention the 15 apprentices with no experience overseeing them and stuffing it up. AusCoast told me not to communicate with them - but getting a return phone call was like pulling teeth. Roof was ‘finalised’ in mid 2024, final bill paid accordingly and on time. ‘Variation’ after stuffing it up and no consulting was submitted by rebuild relief in June 2025!!!! This has now been declined. Now I’m receiving extra bills - 2 years after this process started!!!!!. Very upset and anxiety provoking for a single parent who was getting their roof fixed under the premises that ‘rebuild relief’ - same company, different trading name - would ‘mange this with no extra cost’ outside of what was provided by insurance. Made decisions and did extra work without prior variations. It was ‘all good - won’t be a problem’ - and then heard nothing from them for almost 12 months. I cannot stress how distressing and a highly traumatic experience this has been from AusCoast and Rebuild Relief. I expect any favourable reviews are fake. I will be going to fair trading. 2 years later and I just want these people to exit my life.

DO NOT HIRE DO NOT PAY – $45,000 for a roof that's not completed (not including guttering apparently even though they confirmed the colour with us), they cut the solar panel wires to take them off and then put the roof on ONTOP OF THE LIVE WIRES STILL CONNECTED TO THE HOUSE. in trouble if we don't take back excess materials" DO NOT HIRE, DO NOT PAY! Several rolls of insulation they over ordered and tried to take, roofing screws you name it they tried to scam it, even told me my brand new solar panels were damaged from the storm and needed to be replaced, when I said they weren't even on the roof at that time as they are brand new. they went silent.

All the hassle and worry of getting a roof replaced was taken on by AusCoast Builders and I didn't have to worry about anything. I was kept up to date with the progress and the entire process was pretty much hassle free.

Generally easy to deal with and took the pressure off us by dealing with our insurance agency on our behalf. We are happy with the work that has been done. Only negative is the length of time the process took from when we first enquired until the job was completed. Overall, we are very happy.

We found Nathan very supportive when dealing with our insurance company. The communication between AusCoast, the local contractors and ourselves was good when we finally got our start date. Would recommend AusCoast to others.

I am very pleased with the finished new roof. It did take longer than expected, but that was mainly the Insurer slow to approve things. The new solar panels are very good, and the new lights and fan on the deck are a big improvement.

The team was very efficient and professional. There work was carried out to a very high standard and my new roof looks great. All interactions were first class. Very happy with the results.

Very very impressed. The tradespeople were punctual, professional and just really good blokes. They were totally trustworthy with my home, did a fantastic job in record time, and left the are pristine.
