They did not deliver the service although they promised it will happen on the day. I told them written a verbally emphasised that the place is slopped . They guaranteed verbally they will do it and there are a lot of ways to do. But on the day the contractors did not accept to do and left and said complain against them. Aussie batteries terrible!! Don’t buy – I spent almost $9000 on 260a/h lithium batteries and had nothing but problems. All of them have failed over the period of about 3 years. 140ah agm battery. Great performer – 18 months of use and still performing strongly. Used for powering 12v fridge and camp lighting. Charged via car or solar with dcdc charger. Online store was simple to navigate and delivery was as scheduled. Excellent service. Show details

Great Deap Cycle Batteries – I have 3 x 140 aH batteries, 2in my van and One as a secondary battery in my Mazda BT 50. When we are Free Camping we can run the fridge in my Ute for 3 days and the dual batteries in our Van for 48 hours. We run 2x 12v fans most nights and watch TV via our satellite dish for about 4 hours. Very happy camper. Show details

Very poor warranty service – Aussie battery’s and solar are very under handed with there warranty. It has taken years of stalling by Aussie batteries and solar to now say it’s now prorated payment now as I am out of date with my warranty this all started in the warranty period. requesting tracking number and delivery date, "Customer Service" does not provide customer service and advised I had to log request on website. Despatch DO NOT have phones and you can only communicate via website & email. Fact 5 - Rang Sales department, advised I wanted a refund and was advised to raise request via website Fact 6 - 18/12 I raised request for a refund stating I had not received the item, that I needed the battery for holidays and I would need to source from somewhere else. I was advised that they would not issue a refund until the battery was returned. But now have provided to me a tracking number. Fact 7 - 18/12 checked on courier's website as to status of delivery, status was "ITEM NOT RECEIVED FROM SENDER" Fact 8 - After I replied to Aussie Batteries that this service was disgusting I received and email from the General Manager who advised that this was a busy time of year and apologised for the delay. MISSED THE POINT GENERAL MANAGER, for 8 days you did not follow up courier, you did not provide a tracking number for me to follow up with courier, you basically handed the item to the courier and wiped your hands. Your company DOES NOT provide customer service, your staff will not take phone calls to discuss issues such as these. Yes I understand it is a busy time of year but that does not stop you from providing customer service. Fact 9 - After my complaint Aussie Batteries did follow up with the courier and did arrange for item to be delivered and it was on 19/12.

The test data showed that my140Ah battery was only capable of delivering 57 Ah.The technical team did not understand the test data and wrongly concluded that the battery was actually in good condition and had, in their opinion, actually passed the test. I finally asked for a full refund and that is when they dropped me like a hot potato and I have NOT heard from them since. I have reported this company to the ACCC and I also wish to point out that their Pro rata Warrantee does not comply with the Australian Consumer Protection Law. Since requesting a full refund this company has not even had the common courtesy of replying to my messages. Buyer Beware - If you ever need to ask for a refund from this Company I wish you good luck as in my case I could not even get a reply to my email messages.

Great product ,so happy with it I later purchased another one – In March 2020 I purchased 2 x140 AH batteries ( inv # N 10104795) for my 21' caravan. I was so happy with then I later (in 2022) bought one as an auxiliary battery for my Ford Ranger. Aussie AGM Batteries – I've been using the Giant 140AH AGM batteries for 2 years in my caravan off grid system; they take a fair hiding with the Appiances we run. Keep the draw below 1400watts to avoid damage to the batteries. (600w) and induction cooktop,( recommend no more than 1200w setting). Appliances one at a time. Basically any appliance rated below 1400w. I recommend running high power appliances (700 - 1400w) during the day with solar assistance because the draw rating is about 50Amp continuous; you'll notice the voltage fall to 12v during heavy loads and I don't recommend having the voltage drop below 11.9 for any length of time. In short, keep an eye on the voltage when you use them. The Online store is excellent and any questions you have are anwered pretty well straight away or at least at the next working day. There are heaps of products and bundles/specials to choose from. I love the quality of the Batteries, noting the AGM's have thicker plates, are extra heavy duty and take a reasonable Continuous AMP draw. If Lithium is out of your price reach at the moment, then these AGMs are OK for the basic setup.

Atlas Batteries are Rubbish – i bought a 120 ah battery. It failed after 9 mths. Was replaced under warranty. That battery failed a year later. If you reply on battery power to keep your fridge etc running when camping dont not rely on this product. If your battery fails when camping you cant keep your meat or milk edible. 175ah lithium Atlas battery – Had the battery for a little under a year and while on a trip it would run flat and turn off in less than 2 days. Had tested and it only had 95ah capacity. Saved my uncle $40,000 He got renogy Batteries instead for the pump rooms and the house backup systems. And is doing the same at the ither houses.

Off once again to a new auto electrician together the battery jump started again so I can use my sink and lights in my camper. Seems it's going to be a long wi ter but this is their only solution. But a great talking point at every new camp-site since I live in it fulltime.

"Tech" staff I noted that the 200Ah had been changed to a 3yr warranty ? Next the weights of batteries; The 200Ah battery , initially had the same weight as the 260Ah battery (24.4Kg ) Really ?. Both sizes claimed dual BMS, (150A and 200A respectively) Then they changed weights to : 200Ah (28.4Kg) and the 260Ah (stays at 24.4Kg) ? Plus ... another change, with the addition of cell balancing added to the BMS of both sizes. There are a number of inconsistencies with this outfit ...my dear Watson.... !

and they were not my EMOTIONAL THERAPIST when I expressed dismay at being told that being stuck in the cold in the middle of no where with no way to wake the battery and having to pay again was stupid.

Consumer Law states a product has to work without you needing to purchase another product to make it work. Like battery heater or insulated blanket. Then a jump start to wake the battery and the know how to unhook all the items attached to the battery first then to know if it's the right volts. And hope it doesn't get cold overnight again otherwise your stuck again.

Disgusting service and considering the battery was $1200 I would never recommend them to anyone again.

Taking the matter to Sept of Fair trading. It's cost me the same as the battery in inconvenience so far .... Nobody wants to touch their battery.... All have told me to buy a better brand that has it all built in properly..
