Great trailor and great service

I was hosting a 4 day event in Perth and needed an enclosed trailor to get items from my regional home up to the city. Our town has 2 vendors for UHaul. I booked online with no fuss. On the day of pick up I wanted the trailer an hour earlier than the booked time, I contacted UHaul customer service and they udpated my booking quickly and I was able to access easily. The trailor was clean and well maintained and perfect for travelling over 300kms with a full load. Highly recommend for moving. Show details

The worse ever service, charge their words on last moment

If i have a choice to give them zero i would love to be.
Does not deserve any star at all.
Booked furniture 10X6 trailer Melbourne to Brisbane plus insurance . iI mentioned them trailer does not seem alright when i was in Swan hill , but customer service girl KL she said its fine nothing gonna happen.
Heading down from Toowoomba hill , i just pulled over my car then my car breaks were smoking, because trailer breaks mechanism was not working at all, even I mentioned them.

Poor service

Booked a car trailer 4 day before when I went to pick it up the sero attendant informed me it was broken and had been out of action for the past 2 days.
Since this was booked days before a email or phone call would of help me fix this situation

Would love to that the great people at kennards hire for coming through last minute and $100 cheepee

JUST PATHETIC!!

DONT USE THIS COMPANY
We booked and paid for a trailer hire and arrived to find no trailer. After 40 minutes waiting at the BP one do their customer service people phoned us back to say we had to drive to another BP station 30 minutes away for a different trailer. Complete waste if time and energy. Do yourself a favour and find a different hire company. Show details

Excellent car transporter

I used a car transporter to travel over 2400klm.
Super easy to collect and return
Tyres, connectors and electrics all good.

Uhaul need better service agents

The one way trailer hire was a great help to us moving from Adelaide to NE Victoria. What let the company down were their service agents at the pick up and drop off points. No help at pick up in Adelaide (Blair Athol) until we rang Uhaul for help and then at drop off in Wagga the service station attendant was uninterested in the trailer being returned and didn’t process the return until we again called the Uhaul service centre. The Uhaul customer service people were great in getting things done but the whole system needs fixing. Show reply

Car trailer wallan united

Pretty disappointed to receive an unroadworthy unsafe car trailer, trailer coupling had so much play in it you could move the coupling up and down 20mm on the ball and while driving you could feel it rocking though the car, even though my car i was towing with weighs 3 tonne. Ramp slightly bent so didn't slide in and out easy. Bald tyres less than 1mm tread, tyre egging out on centre of tread, spare tyre bald and unroadworthy too. My f150 wouldn't even fit on the trailer properly tyres up on side rails. I'm glad I only had to move the car 5kms. Anything more and forget it. The laughable part is there terms and conditions make out there giving you gold then you see the trailer and its junk. Show details

Inflexible

I want to add insurance but they will not allow this as I have removed the trailer. Understandable. However as I live around the corner I suggested I bring the trailer in for an inspection before they issue the insurance. They say I must cancel my booking, forfeit the cost of a 3 hour hire and then book again including insurance. Not cooperative at all. I will not use U-Haul again

A very aggressive service woman

I hired a car trailer in kempsey that's when the nightmare started the coupling wouldn't stay on the tow ball first bump it jumped off so I thought maybe I didn't connect it properly so we clipped it back on less than five minutes later it jumped off so we parked it up rang uhaul straight away as it was to dangerous to take on the hwy.
They said send an email with pictures so I did no reply as I had to work iasked for notification well before the service woman arrives with no early notification she arrives while we were at work remotely she tries to ring six times in half an hour then enters our private property after police told her not to enter the yard and seems to think that's ok she wouldn't give her name and was quite rude never again

They took my booking and money knowing full well that a trailer would not be available. Drove 300km (600km round trip) to find out the trailer I hired did not exist.

Dangerous car trailers not fit for purpose!!!

Dangerous Trailers Don’t Hire! Picked up car trailer and brakes hardly work and this is apparently normal according to them. I was going to take back but picked up right on closing time. After driving about 20 minutes then brakes locked on and wouldn’t release and I got stranded for hours! No refund either! Even the guys working there said they are dangerous and wouldn’t hire themselves even though they get for free. It’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt or killed from these trailers. They shouldn’t be allowed on the road

Why cant a person pay in cash anymore to hire anything from U-Haul?, I don't and won't possess a credit card, I have always paid a cash transaction for this type of hire .
Went to pick up a trailer this morning, got through the stupid booking consul questions until the bankcard questions came up, Asked attendant if I could pay cash?, we could not find anywhere in the system to by pass the card criteria and then be able to pay cash at the facility where the trailer is located. This is actually illegal as cash is legal tender in Australia. This policy is discriminatory to those who want to pay cash for services. I will await your response before I post on social media.
