Just had my hot water service upgrade with an Emerald unit by A G S as with my air conditioning install which was done last year by them as well extremely professional and efficient crew Iam extremely happy with the unit

company’s call centre went unanswered. I only received limited responses after directly messaging a staff member. As a result, we were left without hot water for several days during cold Melbourne weather and had to shower in cold water. We were not given a time frame till now of when it can be fixed.
Installing a faulty system and then providing no timely rectification or support is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company based on the lack of accountability and poor after-sales service.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update 2/1/26: I have since received a phone call advising that AGS escalated the issue to the manufacturer (Emerald). I was told they would only be able to get back to me next Monday — meaning 7 consecutive days without hot water.
When I requested a product replacement, I was advised this was not an option. This is despite the fact that the unit provided was faulty from the day of installation, which I reported immediately.
I am now being told this is somehow my responsibility and that I must wait for the manufacturer’s warranty process. The installer and supplier appear to be shifting blame between each other while delaying any meaningful resolution.
This lack of accountability and urgency is completely unacceptable, especially for an essential service like hot water.
From the first phone call to installation the staff were courteous, helpful, prompt and knowledgeable. The tradies removed all rubbish. Highly recommend this company and the product. It was so easy from start to finish. Show reply
Recommend using Australian Green Solutions to upgrade from Gas hot Water to Electric hot water. Communication was good and they kept us informed throughout the process. We highly recommend them.
I had a reverse cycle unit installed at home. The installers mixed up their measurements for one of the ducts, installing it about 5cm off centre because the instructions weren’t clear. The installers mixed advised me not to use auto feature because it causes problems. Why sell a unit which is known to be dubious?
Our one month old new hot water system installed by Australian Green Solutions broke down on a Saturday. were on the phone again. In total I made approximately 30 phone calls, sent many texts and number of emails over the course of the morning. Their compliance department wouldn't answer any call at all, the lady in the Philippines was not helpful at all and the office person started to giggle when I expressed my exasperation with whole thing.
It was fortunate that they gave me the phone number of the manufacturer and after I made contact with them the problem was fixed that afternoon and the hot water was flowing.
My recommendation is. DO NOT USE AUSTRALIAN GREEN SOLUTIONS.

direct on the ground?" On the wall it went with clearance above the bin lids. Courtesy, kindness, no time wasted and was off by 9.00 am. It works well. The noise of the heat pump is minimal and the unit takes up less space that the previous unit. They didn't have the unit size we ordered so they gave us the next size up at a 50% discount. Marvelous job. Fully recommended to anyone looking to progress.
Just had A.G.S remove my old ducted heating and install a beautiful new 7kw Mitsubishi split system. Very happy, lovely staff and polite and skilled tradesmen. And they always turn up on time. Now I'm happy and warm. Show reply

Electrician refused to instal a separate circuit. Reason is because our switchboard is full. He however said, the heatpump hot water will not overload if using the existing powerpoint. but great installers – While the accounts using tough language in terms of payment @ invoice, I'm so happy with the installers job, who installed a 260L all in one ecogenica heat pump for me in Syd. everything working fine, for that I recommend the company Syd branch to all my friends, Good on you Jay and Antony, thumbs up..
Buyer Beware – I wish I had read the review about this company beforehand. Watch out for these guys they are thieves. They will give you a quote which is competitive and make you believe that it is a firm offer. After they finish the job, they hand you an additional overpriced bill. $100 for a circuit breaker which retails for $25. Left a whole heap of mess behind after completing the job. Check the T&C of the contract. I personally would avoid dealing with this company.
