Follow-up · After the post I was pleased to receive a phone call about the issues I mentioned, and had a good conversation about the issues that I mentioned.
I attended cbd college today to complete my cpr course had a really good experience everyone was very welcoming didn’t feel uncomfortable whatsoever. The course covered a lot of crucial information and wasn’t hard to understand either Show reply
Follow-up · My tips for future students would probably involve asking questions, don’t be shy to put your hand up and answer a question even if your not sure it shows your committed and interested. However a part of the course that really engaged me was when we had to demonstrate on the dolls and engage with other students in the class, the instructors explained everything clearly, were very friendly and overall a great experience

I recently completed a first aid course with Paul, and I can confidently say it was one of the most informative and engaging training experiences I've ever had. practical, and relatable way.
What stood out most was his passion for empowering others with life-saving skills. He created a learning environment that was both professional and approachable, encouraging questions and making sure every participant felt confident in their abilities. From CPR techniques to managing emergencies, Paul covered every topic with precision and care.
Thanks to Paul, I now feel equipped to respond effectively in real-life situations. His training didn’t just tick the boxes—it inspired genuine confidence. I highly recommend Paul to anyone seeking top-tier first aid instruction. He’s a true expert and an outstanding educator.
TAE Course - Appalling, waste of hard earned money. Do not recommend. Poor quality training. Bad facilitators. Confusing manual, not straightforward and easy to follow. Sub-standard course. Three facilitators over ten days, instead of one consistent facilitator. Each facilitator was different. One facilitator teaching how to go into an… Read more
organisation to find faults in a training program to give advice to provider on how to improve training scenario, as if we are contracted to do so. Not interested in that line of work. Was a total waste of time. Was very confused with the resource materials that were all over the place in three different manuals. Very hard to follow. Low grade teaching, poor resources. Total shambles. Im an experienced teacher of adults in New Zealand for 8 years. Aussie facilitators prejudiced (racust) against long time qualified Māori teacher like myself. Shameful. They taught to make sure I failed the course. Maori facilitators trained in New Zealand trying to do TAE again because New Zealand qualification is not internationally recognised in Sydney, beware. Run away from this provider. You are wasting money on a course that seeks to fail you because if your brown skin from New Zealand. Don't train at CBD College in WHS & TAE. Bad provider. Should be shut down.

Low review, wont be returning, I have been doing First Aid and CPR at CBD for 6 years annually. Mostly I have had good instructors. But also at times very unprofessional instructors. If you cant teach people respectfully you need a new game. Not acceptable to talk rudely to trainee's and not be able to answer questions professionally. No one is… Read more

Bad customer service and sneaky terms and conditions – Bad customer service. I called CBD to cancel a course as I could not attend due to having to return to work. The course doesn't commence for 10 days and none of the course material has been accessed at all, in fact I wasn't even aware that I had the log in for the course. They charged me $499 "As per terms and conditions" for admin and "credit… Read more

Class was easy and made clear and concise. I think I preferred the longer format classes, although long, they were more personal and had thorough understanding and takeaway back before online modules. Still great and happy with the outcome. Show reply

I’ve been doing first aid courses with this company for years and I’m happy to be a repeat customer. I’ve always found the instructors to be very knowledgeable, helpful and understanding towards students. I learned from Paul today for the third year in a row and he’s always a pleasure to learn from. The pacing of the learning and the content itself is also something I find very good and praiseworthy. I would highly recommend this school. Show reply
