Browns Plains - terrible service for the last couple of visits. Having to argue about having prepaid treatments and then no apology from the manager when it was proved I was correct. Limited communication from staff during the treatment. Leaving my 15 year old daughter in a cold room with just a shirt to cover her up while fixing a machine error… Read more

for 15 mins with no communication about what was happening. Moving appointments by 15-20 mins without letting me know. Calling me and scolding me for not responding to the confirmation text when I did send through a “Y” to their text. WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

I initially went in for a consultation for skin needling. When I went there, they said that they couldn't proceed with the service because I had a keloid scar on my arm. The lady there (Courtney) explained to me with faux sympathy that I couldn't be treated because if I did, keloid scars would form everywhere on my face. I accepted this… Read more

explanation. A couple of weeks afterwards, I decided to go in for laser hair removal. When I called, they refused to book me and insisted that I do a consultation because it was "protocol." I booked in the consultation for the afternoon, and about an hour later, I got a message saying quote "Hi (my name), I have you booked in for a lazor hair removal consultation but I do see that you do Keloid scar. Unfortunately we do not treat if someone does normally Keloid with Laser Hair removal. However, you are more than welcome to still come in tonight to have a talk but we will not be able to provide you with future treatment. Kind regards, Courtney ASC Northlakes." I was very confused and dissapointed that I wouldn't be allowed to get the lazor hair removal done, so I called them and expressed my confusion. The woman ([Name Removed]) was exceptionally rude to me and made me feel like I had no idea what I was talking about and that I was st>pid. She rudely remarked that I could come in and waste my time with the consultation, I promplty refused and asked if there was another reason why they were refusing me service. She began to go on a big, long rant about how important her career is and that they just have very strict protocals. For the record, I do lazor hair removal multiple times a month at another clinic and the incinuation that the lazor treatment would give me keloid scars is completely and utterly ridiculous. This entire ordeal has left me feeling confused, hurt, offended and did I mention confused?

I’ve been going to brickworks for a couple of years now for laser hair removal on arms and legs. The ladies are always friendly and professional. Looking older than a 100 yo woman – I’m now 59 yo! At age 40 I had flawless skin and was always complimented on how flawless my skin looked, and how I looked young for my age. Then I went to the Australian Skin Climic in Ashmore where I met with Dr Grose! I initially only went in to buy some face cream and was talked into microdermabrasion which was a fairly new procedure at that… Read more

time. Dr Grose said I was a perfect candidate for this procedure. I had a few done over a 12 month period. I think the girls name was Zoe that worked on my face. She said she would remove 10’s of layers of skin from my face. I wasn’t able to go out for usually two weeks as my skin would peel off in sheets over that period. Each time I had it done, I would say to myself that I think Zoe has gone way too deep this time around, as it would peel more and more each time I had it done. My skin would look great each time. Then 5 years on at age 45 my skin took a drastic turn! My face started looking like an Osage orange/kaffir lime with deep imbedded wrinkles, age spots & severe scarring all over! I am now 59yo amd I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a 100 yo person that looks older than me. I lived on the Gold Coast, and at age 50 moved myself to the bush so as not to run into anyone I knew. I haven’t seen my parents now whom are elderly since moving. I’m too embarrassed to see my own parents. I cut myself off from every friend I had. I’m always worried that my parents will die and I won’t be able to attend their funerals. This definitely does not have anything to do with vanity. If you could see my face you would understand what I’m going through. How could the Australian skin Clinic be so negligent! They have totally ruined my life! Makeup makes my face look even worse if that’s even possible! I have a lot of nice clothes that I can no longer wear as they look stupid on with no makeup. I’m totally aware of everyone staring at my face when I go into town for groceries! Even my elderly neighbours have said that no amount of plastic surgery will fix your face. My 30 yo son says I look prehistoric! I think he hit the nail on the head! That’s exactly how my face looks! Prehistoric!!! Would be interesting to know what The Australian Skin Climic has to say about my face now! I’m terrified about going through the rest of my life looking like this and not being able to see family and past friends. I think about everyone all of the time, especially my elderly parents. I’m not in a financial position to see a plastic surgeon so am stuck looking prehistoric! I shock myself every time I look into a mirror or see my face in a reflection. I would never have had these procedures Done had I have known what I would look like 5 years on. My face couldn’t get any worse than what it is right now. After moving to the bush at age 50 I’ve been receiving pensioner discounts from my local IGA store. I obviously haven’t told them otherwise. That would be too embarrassing!

Don’t listen to their advice on anything they are not dermatologists – Went to the Indooroopilly store for a microdermabrasion and they upselled to get me into micro needling. red like sunburn for 3 days however 1 year later now and I still have to red patches on my cheeks, I had flawless skin before and I’m 44. I merely went in for microdermabrasion for the pimples I have on my chin. They don’t know what they are doing and claim this is a part of the process to get you to buy insanely priced products for the rest of your life. When I complained they took me in the room and interigated me as if I was the one at fault. The manager had to ask one girl to leave and she still gaslit me anyway. This should not be leaving a permanent mark on your skin 1 year later. I’m so distraught they ruined my skin, I used to get compliments all the time for how clear my skin was. The only reason I didn’t ask for money back is they make you sign before the treatment. They make you believe in them and that they are trust worthy so you sign anyway. Don’t trust them!

Rude manager at Australian Skin Clinics Garden City – Girls doing the facial are decent which is pretty nice. But the microdermabrasion is pretty much useless for active acne. Hyperdome Botox issue – Went to the clinic to have my forehead and crows feet treated. I have three lines on my forehead that needed to be treated that are visible when relaxed. lines on my forehead. I didn't question any further as they should know what they are doing and I left. I rang up a week later as the area I was expecting to be treated was not. I went back in and was told it was a communication issue an I would be charged for more Botox to address the area I originally paid for.

I was told the technical terms of the muscles/area that I mentioned was not the forehead. I would assume if someone comes in for a treatment and explains they need their forehead treated and they have visible stress lines around the area they mentioned, that is what they are talking about. They would not know the technical terms or names of the area and if the client brings up concern during the treatment I would believe as a professional you would listen to the client and address it. This was not done unfortunately and got no result after paying $400. Very dissatisfied and will suggest to family and friends not to go to this clinic.

terrible is this place with such a poor and unsafe attitude towards lasers. To top this I was treated unprofessionally by another staff.
