grateful because the head gasket issue is a huge job, but they towed my car from the roadside in Dandenong to my repair shop, and the next day, AWN approved the claim right away. Even though $4,000 is a lot, especially with rising labor costs, AWN made a fast decision and covered half, so the repair shop could fix it promptly. Despite the long Easter holiday delay, it all ended happily. My 2009 Pathfinder, which I bought two years ago, was worth every penny, and I highly recommend AWN if you’re buying a used car. It truly gave me peace of mind, and I got my money’s worth—so if you buy a car from a dealer, I 100% recommend you get AWN for your engine and parts coverage.

pick it up. To my utter surprise, I hear a loud knocking noise from the engine when I turned the ignition on. The Service station then replaced the the engine mount assembly the following week but it did not resolve the knocking noise. They subsequently recommended replacement of the transmission mount to address the knocking noise and charged me for diagnosis as engine mount and transmission mounts were not covered under the AWN plan. I reported this to AWN and complained against the dealer that poor workmanship by their service station had caused me unnecessary trouble. AWN advised me that the dealer was correct as these parts are not covered under the plan but decided to reimburse replacement of transmission mount by another Auto service station. AWN staff had been really helpful to me in this saga and quite prompt in their responses and reimbursement

I’d like to say I was disappointed, finding out almost all of it was outside the warranty plan definitely made me sigh in the way only a car owner can. But Jamie — now, Jamie was a game changer. She could’ve easily just handed me the bad news and left me to stew in it, but instead, she went above and beyond. Not only did she help me navigate the maze of approvals for a brand-new condenser unit (and as we all know, we need that in Sydney for the upcoming summer — hello, heatwaves!), but she even managed to snag me $500 off the total repair bill! That’s right, folks — $500 less for Kris to keep her cool, literally. To sum it up, while I was initially disappointed to hear that my warranty didn’t cover most of the repairs, Jamie made the experience feel like a breeze. (Okay, one more pun. Promise.) Upon submitting my claim I had a response within 48 hours and was given clear and direct instructions on what I needed to provide for my claim to be processed. Upon me sending these documents through I had a response and my claim was finalised within the week and was given a date that my reimbursement would be entered into my account. Absolute scam. Do not even think about buying this product. Be warned — when something goes wrong, they’ll do everything they can to wriggle out of responsibility. This policy is great value for your money by far & stress free to set up. I had to lodge a claim & the service I received was awesome. The issue was diagnosed one day & resolved the very next day!
