Friendly staff, great service!

The second hand vehicle I bought from a dealership came with an AWN warranty. I was hoping I’d never need it, but no such luck. Within 3 weeks the in-tank fuel pump failed and I needed it repaired fast. Living in a remote area, I thought that I would need to have the vehicle towed as there weren’t any authorised repairers nearby, but AWN worked together with my local mechanic and had me back on the road in a couple of days. The staff in the call centre were friendly and helpful. Great experience all round. Well done AWN!

Fast and easy

We opted to purchase an extended warranty with AWN for our Land Cruiser in April of this year and made a claim 5 months later due to a failure of the auto rain sensor. I called AWN who were friendly and very helpful in finding the nearest AWN approved repairer. The experienced repairers found the fault within a few hours, sent off the quote to AWN and received approval for the installation of a new replacement sensor ($586) the same day. The new sensor was ordered, installed, the vehicle serviced and we were back on the road the following day.
We were impressed on how easy and efficient the claim process was and going to ID Automotive Repairs made it a smooth and fast process. Just one and a half days, including problem solving, obtaining approval, fixing and driving away!

So glad I had this cover !

I bought a 2nd car in May - and the starter motor needed to be replaced before I even hit my 10,000km mark . I had taken a 3 year aftermarket warranty at time if purchase ... thank goodness.
I called AWN and they gave me the number of the nearest authorised machanics .
I dropped off the car and the mechanic sorted the rest .I picked up my car the very next day and it didn't cost me a cent.

Good to have as a safety net

Lots of inclusions in the policy, but AWN only use their licensed/authorised repairers. They are limited, and so you also have to get your vehicle assessed and repaired with a mechanic you might have no prior relationship or experience with. I found this a little concerning, because it's difficult to find an honest mechanic. I would have liked to use my mechanic (Ultra Tune) for the repair, but this wasn't allowed. Overall, I think it is worth the money for peace of mind.

Very friendly and helpful

Had a radiator burst on my car filling cooling system with trans fluid.
Contacted awn and they help me getting car to repairer and getting it fixed fast.
They very helpful and friendly throughout the experience.

Great Service from All for my Fiat Ducato Avan policy and claim

I had a timely fault in my Avan and the starter was faulty AWN not only worked through the repairs with Van Masters Malaga, I was very impressed with the support on the repairs they made, Van Master commented that they found AWN very good group to work though the claim. This made me fell a lot better understand an outsider giving a thumbs up to AWN thank you Jennifer Leeding from AWN and the team.
Also Thank you to Van Master Malaga they were great.

Fantastic Service

So quick to have our claim approved for transmission issues, while car was at mechanics they found another issue that was approved with a quick phone call. Even the mechanic said they were a great company to deal with. So very happy with everything, best money spent with my AWN warranty!

Great Claim Experience

I recently had to make a claim for my vehicle for a new alternator, and honestly was amazed at how hassle free and quick the whole process was. From start to finish it would have only been about 7 days (this was more to do with me having to wait a couple days for the part to arrive to the repairer and included a weekend). Uploading the required documents was simple & easy, as was my dealings with the helpful AWN staff. My claim was approved within hours covering $750 towards my repairs. I think there is a bit of a bad reputation for car warranties however my experience was wonderful. Will be recommending AWN to anyone getting a new car.

The best team AWN Extended warranty

I got a Holden Calais 16 months ago and had multiple problems witch the AWN warranty girls got sorted for me straight away. I then had problems with the engine that was fitted by a garage we should not name and again the AWN warrant girls got me sent to another garage and the problems have been rectified all this was done in about two weeks because of the situation. So I would just like to say to the whole team At AWN you all rock you are the best and a big thank you to the warranty girls for all your help.

Extended warranty provides peace of mind for 2nd hand vehicles

I purchased KaCare warranty (managed by AWN) when buying 2011 Pathfinder. Have had two issues with the car - leaking A/C heater core and failed stater motor - and had both replaced under warranty with the only out of pocket expense regas of the A/C system. The warranty even covered towing the car from home to the mechanic workshop.

The call center was very helpful guiding me through the process and pointing me to the preferred mechanics. Authorisation for repairs was given within 24 hours. Am very happy on getting the warranty. Just have to remember to have it regularly serviced and provide the service report to keep records up to date.

I purchased AWN warranty cover for my 2008 Mercedes ML320CDI Diesel recently this year in 2019.

Called AWN customer support line when I needed to claim warranty on an engine related problem I was facing & the customer experience provided by them is just seamless & very efficient. Very helpful. The entire claims process is very pleasant experience, unlike what I face with other big telco companies, who just keeps passing the baton around & making a simple small assistance like its a huge task!!

AWN lives up to its high standards of making customers happy with their products & services right from the first phone call to the end of my car being repaired! Absolutely LEGEND!

not a typical insurance company experience

I had to lodge the claim for my pathfinder's misfiring engine. From the first phone call to the fix the whole experience was positive. Moreover the phone support officer (Tash) was really helpful from start to finish. The total bill to fix was about ~$1800 and AWN approved the ~$1300. The insurance experience has been redefined for me in dealing with AWN. Thank you.

Met my expectations.

I received a 3 month AWN warranty with the purchase of a used car through Pickles. I noticed after purchase that a few items didn’t work.
Wednesday called AWN and spoke to a nice lady named Kim. Kim texted me a couple of authorised repairers whilst we were talking.
Thursday the vehicle was inspected and quoted by authorised mechanic which then needed to be approved by AWN.
Monday I called for progress update and spoke to Kim again. She was nice and easy to talk to. She asked if I had tried dealer warranty - which I had.
Mechanic called Monday afternoon saying he’d received approval and ordered the parts.
Tuesday morning car repaired - and it looks like I’ve found a new place to get my scheduled servicing done at Auto Spot.
As the warranty came with the purchase of the car, I can’t attest to the value, however the service has been performed in a manner that you would expect.
To be frank, I guess I was pleasantly surprised, given how many horror stories you hear about warranty and insurance.
Full disclosure- AWN have incentivised a review from me as I had recently made a claim, and there is a $500 fuel voucher up for grabs. That said, they specifically requested good or bad on an independent website. That in itself speaks volumes to me about how they want to look after their customers. Well played AWN.

Edit- box selection after review panel requests type of insurance. Warranty is not an option and selection is compulsory. I chose comprehensive, even though it’s incorrect.

Great assistance! resolved quickly!

CV Joint in my Triton became noisy. Didn't know if it was covered, rang AWN up and the lady was very helpful. Indicated it was covered under the warranty and gave me details of repairers. fixed within a week of going to the mechanic. Very happy with the process, especially since it was my first ever claim.

Policy honoured with no fuss

The alternator all of a sudden gave in on my Toyota Prado. I emailed AWN over the weekend and they called first thing Monday morning. Unfortunately my preferred repairer isn't one they currently approve even though it's a major chain and others are. The one they sent me to was ok, fast and did the required work but not very professional.
Car was back on the road in 2 business days so very happy!

Great service

Warranty was part of buying a 2nd hand car 9 months ago. The car had a fault with the Alternator, whilst on holiday. Process of making a claim was easy. AWN was quick to respond. They are great with communication kept me informed and up to date with what is happening with my claim all the way through.
