wether this car will be a pleasure to own or cost squillions over time. I believe that this car will be a nice little car that will give us the minimum of fuss. From initial enquiry last week, to driving away our new Triton Ute this morning, our experience with the Auto Enquiry team at Strathpine has been outstanding every step of the way. Do not trust this dealership. They will pressure you, mislead you, and do whatever it takes to get your money. My experience with Mick has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. and most importantly, under terms that did not match the finance conditions stated in their own contract.

When I refused, they attempted to withhold my deposit even though the finance conditions were not met. During phone calls, Mick lied about the details of my finance agreement and falsely claimed I was “legally obligated” to sign the loan offer from their finance partner, Autofunds. He also told me I wouldn’t be able to get finance elsewhere due to a low credit score which turned out to be caused by multiple hard enquiries Autofunds made on my credit file, damaging what was previously a clean record.

Despite involving a solicitor, the dealership initially refused to cancel the contract or return my deposit. Even now, a month after legal contact was made, I am still waiting for confirmation that my refund has been processed.

salesman she dealt with was unprofessional and asking to take her out. We have text messages he sent to my daughter to support this. They didn’t contact my daughter in a timely manner as they said they would to resolve the issue. In fairness to them they did give her a loan car to use. She ended up having to spend more money to get a car. I couldn’t recommend this dealership. This is the first time I have ever left a review for anything this is how strongly I feel about this.

Dodgy Roadworthy – Bought a vehicle for 19.5k with a dodgy roadworthy. dealership that carried out our repairs allege Auto Request were rude and belligerent to deal with. If you buy from here have the car inspected thoroughly by a professional and keep a record of all correspondence for warranty etc.

Good experience – Gary was very open and honest with us as the car we purchased is for my Granddaughter. He was honest and forthcoming with answers to our questions and had the points i made fixed before we took delivery. In a few months i will return with another review about the car itself.

opened a case with Consumer Affairs. I had to take the car to my own mechanic and spent $1000 there, but again, the car has major electrical issues and it’s failed again. [Name Removed] at the Strathpine store contacted me and told me that if I delete my bad reviews, he will get my car fixed. I agreed, being in a desperate and vulnerable position assuming my car would finally be fixed. [Name Removed] physically withheld the keys to a dodgy rental from me until I agreed to delete the bad reviews stating they “hurt his feelings.”

The rental he loaned me also had a flat battery and was in worse-looking shape than any other car in the yard they could’ve loaned me. Not long after my car came back to me, the car [Content Removed] itself again. I pay $250 to get my car to Strathpine. [Name Removed] tells me once again to delete another bad review I forgot about before he will help me in any way. I once again agree. Since then, he tells me my car is at Hyundai but they “won’t get back to him.” Funny because I’ve called 3 different Hyundais who all answer the phone quickly and none of them have my car. So where is it ?

I’ve been paying off this car for almost 10 months now and have had the chance to drive it maybe 2 months total.

I asked [Name Removed] if they would buy the car back from me and he is not willing to, instead gives the “it’s with Hyundai” story over and over. He’s a bully and this coercion is illegal. I will no longer accept the threatening messages and coercion for something that should not have happened in the first place. You do not meet Australian Consumer Laws that are guaranteed for used cars, yes even cars out of warranty.

I was clearly sold a lemon. This is now moving into the hands of QCAT as of today. I have also reported this behaviour to Facebook and Google so they have proof that reviews are being altered/manipulated. A Current Affair is not out of the question and I see I am not the only one with a similar story. Save yourself the financial and mental heartache and AVOID AUTO REQUEST AT ALL COSTS.

fully informed, it turned out the emissions system was fully blocked and the hot exhaust manifold had split. So the insurance claim process started via Autorequest....and nothing has happened since after many communications about what they are going to do and how they will call me back.

I have never recieved a call back even though I continued to follow-up. Then they said I should contact the department of fair trade to pursue further.

So much for all the nice words about being there to help.

Great Customer Experience – Bought a car through Auto Request Strathpine and dealt with Gary who I found to be friendly, professional and a straight talker. He gave us a great deal with our trade in and made the whole buying process easy and straight forward. Picked up our new car the next day and am happy with our choice of car.
