Nitin from Cars24 was professional and assisted in seamless selling of my vehicle. The offer was reasonable and worth considering from CARS24 considering it helped me avoid all the hassles in private selling of used vehicles. This is my second sale with cars24 and I would recommend them.

Do not purchase a vehicle thru Cars24. Different information from different people. No customer service. 6 weeks after purchase of vehicle and still transfer of registration not completed.

There was a bit a of haggling going on where they did add in fees that is unknown to us in the first place, they will need to improve on that, Australian Culture will take a handshake and that is the end of it. Once a price is finalized that is all there is. We felt a bit overwhelmed by calls non stop to chase us to sign and subsequently after the sale is completed to provide review. We will only put down the honest truth when we have time to do so. Money was deposited within 48 hours after much follow up from our end, NITIN if this is your real name, thank you for the persistence, we agree to drop off to their HUMONGOUS warehouse. That shut down our doubts once and for all. They do deserve 5 stars but with all above mentioned, there is always a room for improvement. Please keep up the good work and change to be better.

The Zoom/video inspection of the car with Harshal was straightforward and easy, and he was very helpful throughout the whole process, answering questions, offering suggestions and praise. One thing buyers should be aware of is that if you receive an offer from Cars24, the amount will reduce every couple of days until formally accepted, so it’s worth keeping that in mind when deciding to go ahead.

Even with that, the final offer was still substantially higher than two other online car buying companies I had contacted. A deposit was paid into my account, and the full balance was received the day before pickup, which I confirmed with Ronit before handing the vehicle over.

Overall, I was very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend Cars24 to anyone wanting a straightforward and convenient way to sell their car.

From the very first call, Cars24 were talking numbers around $23k — already well below wholesale. They then sent a mechanic to inspect the vehicle. The inspector told us the car was immaculate and mechanically sound.

Despite this, a few hours later Cars24 called back claiming the same minor scuffs they already had photos of somehow justified “substantial” panel repairs and slashed their offer to $22,500. This felt completely disingenuous. What followed was blatant pressure to force an immediate decision. When I explained the car belongs to my wife and we needed time to discuss it, they escalated the pressure, claiming the offer couldn’t be held because of internal “buying budget” limits.

I have over 40 years’ experience in sales and marketing, and I recognise pressure tactics when I see them. I made it clear I would not be rushed or manipulated into a bad decision. At that point, I refused to deal with them at all.

This process felt deliberately designed to wear sellers down after they’ve already invested time in inspections and calls. If you know the value of your car, expect lowball offers and heavy pressure. I would strongly advise others to think twice before engaging with Cars24 unless you’re prepared for this kind of experience.

I didn’t have to deal with the usual dealer paperwork or back-and-forth. They sent me the inspection report electronically, which I completed and returned, and then promptly sent through the contract confirming the offer. I signed, and they paid the deposit immediately — no hesitation, no last-minute negotiation.

When they asked about availability for pick-up, I explained that I’m pregnant and due to give birth in just four days, so I really needed everything wrapped up quickly. They scheduled the pick-up for the very next day, arrived on time, and paid the remainder of the sale price instantly.

I didn’t need to leave my home once — they organised everything, communicated promptly, and made the whole experience so smooth at a time when I truly needed it.

Cheats! Quoted us for my car, booked an inspection, then made me wait for 30 mins on the call saying they have had some technical issue and then called saying they won’t honor the quote they gave us with the excuse that they have stopped buying our car model. The quote was given to us 1 day back so overnight they stopped buying this car??? Just a cheat - wasting time. Don’t go to them

Very disappointed. I was offered $30K on the phone and told that this would be confirmed following an online inspection using google meetings - only to then be offered $26,800. I was told on the phone that the price would remain $30k unless something was discovered - the only reason given for the drop was that the colour was not popular....not happy!

When you enter the cars details to get an online valuation estimate you have to provide the odometer reading and after that when you book the inspection you also have to confirm the odometer reading. Why do they allow you to go through all of this process and waste your time if they do not accept cars with a low odometer reading? We requested clarification on this by text, email and online contact form and were completely ignored.

This is my second time selling a car to them, and once again the experience was excellent. Bhuvnesh offered a fair price without any lowballing, which made the process straightforward and stress-free.
