They replaced a faulty iPad after it failed in 8 weeks of service – Bought the iPad and it failed in 8 weeks, contacted AZOD and while, they were helpful and courteous, yes I had to pay for the return postage (big deal) but they replaced the iPad with a newer iPad Air no hassles. I've read the reviews on this page, and I have to say they are exactly opposite to my experience. Please feel free to contact me for verification of my experience.

Took them 3 days to tell me they didn't have any stock – I ordered an iPhone and it took them three days to tell me they couldn't complete my order because they didn't have any stock (I would've accepted a different colour if that was the issue). order for over $1000. We were concerned immediately as when we asked for the exact date that the iPads would be delivered we received no response. Two days later suspecting that all was not well we asked for the order to be cancelled. The order was ‘on hold’ according to their online tracking so we asked for it to be cancelled and the payment refunded.

After several more emails to the company seeking confirmation that the order had been cancelled they finally responded that they couldn’t refund the money as the order had been shipped. They still could not confirm the date that we would receive the iPads. We tried calling them on several landline numbers they supply – including the one specifically for refunds and product returns and of course, they were ALL disconnected. We also posted a a message on their Facebook site which was ignored.

We contacted the ACCC and were advised to contact our bank to request a reversal of funds transfer and to advise Azod in writing that we were doing so. We did that and received a pathetic response – again, they couldn’t process a refund as the products had been shipped.

In the meantime we had to source, purchase and pick up more iPads for the exhibition. Luckily we found a local, highly reliable and honest company.

The day after the exhibition launch I received notification that the iPads would be delivered the following day. No-one was at the premises and when DHL called I advised them that we would not be accepting delivery. Why would we when the number to call for refunds was disconnected? By this stage we had no confidence that we would actually receive instructions on how to return the iPads if we did accept delivery. AND the exhibition that we needed them for was already open!

DHL made several more attempts to deliver and finally contacted Azod to seek permission to return.

At this point Azod gave DHL Port Melbourne a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DELIVERY ADDRESS. A mobile phone repair company in Melbourne’s CBD. We did not know this until later when in another follow up email Azod smugly attached a screenshot confirming that the iPads had been delivered to our address and signed for by someone who is completely unknown to us.

When we phoned DHL they confirmed that the delivery address was not the one specified by us. As Azod gave the new address verbally, it was not updated online. So they knowingly implied that we had accepted delivery and that OUR behaviour was fraudulent even though THEY gave a different delivery address.

When we email Azod again with all this information and yet another request to be refunded immediately they had the audacity to email back telling us that they didn’t believe us and would have to speak with DHL.

Finally after several weeks of Azod agreed that the iPads had never been delivered to us but offered no apology for any of the above. They advised that they would refund us the money in the coming days. We are yet to receive a cent despite several follow up emails.

This all started in early October. The exhibition opened in mid October. It is now nearly December, the goods were NEVER delivered to us and we are yet to receive a refund.

Wish we had read all the negative reviews on this terrible company before making my purchase!

We will be following up through the ACCC and small business claims – these people are crooks and scammers who have no intention of refunding us. Disgraceful. STAY AWAY.

I went ahead and made a purchase.

Then my troubles started:

1. Despite my many requests over almost three weeks I did not receive any advice of consignment.

2. When I did finally receive advice of consignment it took almost two weeks before the item could be tracked.

3. When the device was delivered the colour of the iPhone did not match the Apple model or serial number

on the cover or in the 'General' settings on the iphone.

4. When setting up the iPhone it called for a software update which crashed with an 'error 29'

5. At this point the iPhone software could not be updated or restored through iTunes - giving an 'error 9'

then freezing on a black screen.

6. I have emailed the vendor three times but not reply.

I have now joined the growing ranks of those dissatisfied purchasers.

Based on this experience I can only conclude there is something very wrong with this Vendor whose behaviour is totally unsatisfactory and accordingly the Vendor can no longer be trusted. I would urge anyone thinking of making a purchase to look elsewhere.

No contact – I bought and paid for an iPhone 5, and after no contact and failed attempts at phone and internet messages I was finallly contacted by an [name removed]. Who basically told me to call the police if I’m not happy. They’ve taken my money and refusing to give me any refund despite Cancelling the order.

Purchased one of their phones through TreatMe. Faulty, poor communication, 30 emails later still wai – Waited for ages. Tracking number sent was not valid. Would not consider cancellation of the deal. Finally received phone, which broke after 2 weeks. 6 weeks later refund is still incomplete.

Terrible service, no response to emails, totally unprofessional – Prices are competitive but service is terrible. No notification of product being received when returned to be fixed and no communication in response to complaints seeking to resolve problems. Hung up on when calling regarding faults with the phone. They still have my phone that is paid for by me in full and continue to ignore communication that seeks to resolve it. After several emails they insisted that I return the phone for repair completely ignoring my claims of the phones not being brand new as advertised. I contacted consumer affairs who were satisfied with the evidence I supplied on my claim. They made several attempts to contact them but they were also ignored. arrived to pick up. Who told us we could? you can't pick as Iphone is being fixed? Iphone 5s on Azod's website says refurbished or sold as new unlocked, we chose the new unlocked model. Clearly they aren't new. Then on Monday 18/04/2016 we were told going through afterpay we couldn't pick up goods. Same lady told us Saturday knowing we went through Afterpay. Iphones were being Fixed, The iphones advertised as new unlocked. Then this same lady cancels our order and then says she can't help us as Afterpay are a different company. Pathetic. She can cancel our order but then not fix her stuff up as it was Monday and she was the only person in the office.

No problems at all. Love my new phone! – I bought a refurbished Samsung galaxy S6 edge from AZOD about a month ago. At first I was pretty nervous because I didn't see their bad reviews until after I ordered and paid for the phone. But it arrived 3-4 days later and I have not had a single problem with it. It looked brand new, and has been running perfectly so far.

Never buy from azod – Worst decision I have ever made to buy from azod! Poor Product And Poor Customer Service – Item failed within two weeks of purchase, called to have it repaired and almost got knocked back. Item was given for repair, did not hear anything back for a week despite sending two emails to their Zendesk, which should flag it as open and be responded to. Was told I had entered information incorrectly which didn't make sense and couldn't explain what went wrong. I would stay very far away from these guys. Backyard operation.

Poor everything – Ordered new tablet, got second hand phone that didn't work in a broken box with no packaging. Didn't answer calls and 'message bank was full'. Returned phone at my own expense, after two months eventually got refund (excluding postage). Confused and slow email communications, seems like a backyard show. Avoid.

htc m7 – Cell phone received in poor conditions, scratches and bumps. it work anyway, and has a good price tag but I wont do it again. If you wanna buy here expect used stuff and not a "refurbished" thing. Definitively not honest on their behalf.

Tested all chargers they sent with another s5 and they worked so it's definately a broken charge point that their "technicians" failed to check... twice.

Have reported them to the department of fair trading.

The boxes they send them in are shonky and not sealed.
