Arrived on time and got straight to work. Were done within only a few hours, beyond impressed with the team at B&D. The customer service was up to standard too and gave clear information and options.
Top quality work in a pandemic!
Installed two new roller doors for my garage (double car garage) and B&D were fantastic. Guys came on time and got to work straight away while one of them talked me through the process. They respected social distancing and wore masks and gloves while working as-well as taking payment over the phone. Highly recommend, will use B&D again.
Top-quality work, when I needed help in a rush!
My gate motor broke whilst it was in the open position. The cars in my home were on display from the street as well as a lack of privacy in my front yard which is normally not visible from the road. B&D Royal Park was fantastic, had a team at my house the next day and fixed it at the quoted price in a matter of hours. Very friendly team, who broke down what the problem was and the parts they used to fix it. I can vouch for them to anyone in the Adelaide metropolitan area.

Still providing quality service in a Pandemic
As I was ticking off a long list of things that needed to be done around the house a new garage door was ranking high on the list. I was hoping to have it completed in a somewhat timely fashion and B&D definitely delivered. From when I called to enquire to when I made payments over the phone was a 3 DAY TURN AROUND. These guys made the process stressless and I wish other trades could replicate the professionalism that B&D carries. A++ in my books.
Exceptional service with fantastic safety in mind for COVID 19
My roller door motor broke down recently. Inconveniently whilst the roller door was open meaning during the night anyone who walked passed could easily access my garage. I called B&D on Tuesday night and had fixed by lunchtime Wednesday. Gavin was extremely professional wore gloves and a mask as well as insisting on taking credit card payment over the phone for social distancing reasons. If you need anything to do with garaged doors fixed, replaced or installed during the current epidemic I would highly recommend B&D.

B&D roller door MPC1 older model remote replacement -Solution below
I contacted B& D roller doors this week to get a spare remote controller for my MPC1 roller door. They advise that these are no longer available and I will have to buy a new drive motor with 2 x remotes .around $830 supplied and installed. I've explained the door and control unit works perfect I just need a spare door remote. They advise none are available as no longer made.
I contact a company in Perth REMOTE COPYCAT on 0412056208 and spoke to Josh. He had a guy come out within 2 hours and checked the one remote I have and supplied me brand...
Door was installed well, on time and they have been very helpful with any questions/queries. In fact I had not changed the batteries on the autolock and they helped figure out the problem, we got it working (I put in new batteries) and they even followed up to see if I wanted an in warranty technician to come out.
B&D Garage Doors
I had a B&D electric double door on the new house we bought twelve years ago. After 3 years the garage door motor (fixed to the ceiling) started operating oddly, it would open on its own, often at night. Then would start closing whilst attempting to reverse out of the garage!
I fitted new batteries to the remote and reset the unit, It operated for 6 weeks, then packed in all together.
I looked on Ebay and to my Joy. somebody was selling a brand new in the box, Identical unit, which I bought and fitted. This unit worked for two years then...just stopped operating. On closer inspection the circuit board had fried! I removed the unit from the ceiling and searched the net for better options. Merlin seemed to be what the "people in the know" were giving good reviews on, so I bought one. For 7 years, this unit has operated flawlessly, I've changed the remote battery once!
Appalling Customer Service
I have requested on several occasions to have an auto lock installed on my newly installed garage door. This seems to be a really difficult thing to achieve for this company as things have taken over a month and still no response from them. If you are considering a new garage door for your new or existing home please steer clear of this company as they can not achieve the most simplest requests and basically don't consider aftersales.
If i have the option again I would not be installing these doors and I will also inform as many people as I possibly can of this appalling service.

Lady in the sales department was extremely rude and abrupt. I was trying to explain to her what I wanted to purchase but she was constantly cutting me off and talking over me. When she finally realised her mistake, she apologised and asked if I wanted to go ahead with the $850 quote. At this stage, I felt her customer service was appalling so I wanted to bring this to the attention of her manager. As she was transferring me, she didn’t ...realise I was still on the line and could hear everything that was being said and to my shock, instead of being sincerely apologetic, she had the nerve to say "I have this guy on the phone who wants to make a complaint. I already apologised to him but he’s still being a complete TURD!" Great customer service B&D! If this is your sales department, I can’t imagine what it would be like to try and make a warranty claim...scary thought! I must give some credit to the manager though as she was doing her best to try and resolve the issue but it was too late as far as I'm concerned. So if you don't want to be spoken rudely to or be called certain names, I would highly recommend staying away from this company as this is how they treat customers who actually want to spend money. There are plenty of other great companies around with fantastic customer service and that is where I will be spending my heard earned cash.
I paid $1840 deposit on a double panel lift garage door (back in November 2019) in all good faith on the basis that Brisbane & Bayside Garage Doors (accredited B&D installers) company, per Michael the salesman, were happy and able to remove the old roller doors and install a new double panel lift door on my garage. The door should have been installed on 13 January but the installer did not come prepared to do anything other than a straight forward install.
When the installer could not manage a 'simple' install he left with the promise someone...would get back to me to sort the issue out. I tried to make it pretty clear at the time that I was not happy with the turn of events. Someone from the company did call and promised that Michael (the salesman) would come out and have another look. Michael did and in his opinion thought there was not a problem but also thought that the existing doors could simply be propped up and the center piece removed and "see what happens". Both the install company and the salesman undertook to get back to me "...as soon as possible.." to rectify the issue. I waited a further 2 weeks until 24 January without as much as a phone call from anyone. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. On the morning of 24 January I left a voice mail with the install company and sent an SMS to Michael - neither of whom responded. It took a phone call to B&D to eventually get a response from anyone. The response I did get was from the same salesman who was going to resolve the problem. Thanks for nothing B&D!

We recently replaced my grandparents' garage door with a motorised B&D Roll-A-Door. Mobile showroom made the selection process easy (particularly given we weren't able to make it to a showroom). The consultant was friendly but not pushy. Installation was rescheduled once but plenty of notice given. Went in without a hitch on the day.
At 90 years of age my Grandparents are over the moon with the new look and the novelty of a motorised garage door! Highly recommend, thankyou.

Retired friends of mine engaged this company to install a new garage door. They were required to pay in full prior to completion. They bestowed there trust in this company only to be treated like absolute garbage. See the images attached at the way the job was left. They called me to organise capping to be manufactured and installed. Exposed gal posts and welds was a finished product to them and they point blanked told my friends they would not and do not do anything further. They failed to inform them that it would be aesthetically ugly. Ev...en when asked to please organise to finish and be payed more money they said no we are done with this job and you. Completely disgusting an un Australian. If you're considering this company then think again.
Worthless product and even worse after sales service!
We had purchased their new model Control-A-Door Smart Opener just before Christmas 2019 to replace an ageing chain driven motor. The install took two attempts over two separate days as their technicians weren’t sure how this new model worked with its safety-lock features and also believed that they didn’t have all the required components as they weren’t able to connect the door opener to my local wifi network (A simple read through of the instruction manual after they had left fixed this though, you would think that a ‘qualified technician’ wou...ld be trained in this). Off to a great start, huh? Four weeks had passed with little to no usage as we had been away over the xmas/NYE break. 26 days after the install, the opener catches on its own ‘safety-lock’ feature upon opening and rather than stopping, it decided to use what torque it has to pull past the obstruction and continue to open. Obviously it was unsuccessful and as such, it has now bent the rail and warped the plates on the safety-lock feature. As of now, the door will not open or close. I’m presently stuck with a door in a mid-floating position, half open/half closed. Now what’s worse, is that B&D are now telling me that they will not come out to look at it without billing me for a technician! Apparently they had the install done by a ‘qualified dealer’ and as such, the warranty was through them, not B&D! I went through the B&D site to request a quote, THEY contacted me, THEY gave me the quote which I accepted! Now when something is wrong only 4 weeks later, they won’t stand by their product and honour their own warranty as it wasn’t specifically them who installed it, as they outsourced the work to someone closer to my location! I’ve been given a contact number for their installer/technician, yet they’re on a break until the 20th of January! So I now have a door that’s stuck halfway open and can’t close because of a bent, obstructed belt rail, and the only way I can get this fixed is by paying B&D’s technician for a call out! its only 4 weeks old! What happened to a seven (7) year warranty? ...and they claim to be ‘Australia’s most trusted and reliable’ garage door. That’s a joke, right? All I see is greed and a lack of responsibility to stand by your product! This product has given me no confidence that it is any way of better quality than the 12 year old door opener I had just replaced from Bunnings. They were quick and friendly to take my money, yet after the sale, it’s ‘not their problem’... but they’re happy to fix it for another marginal amount. You’ve been warned!
Great product, easy to install
Purchased a 'B&D Control-A-Door PowerDrive CADPD Garage Roller Door Opener' after 10 years of needing to get out of the car and manually open my garage roller door. Opener was easy to install (I was a first timer) and easy to program. My neighbour was impressed and also got one to replace his faulty one
