baby in it when I showered, or sometimes while I cooked dinner or when we ate. In those early days he was just as happy on a blanket on the floor though. But now that he is crawling, the bouncer is a real life saver! There are moments when I just have to "immobilize" him for 10 minutes while hanging up some washing, for example. He worked out how to make it bounce pretty quick, too! At about 10 weeks of age he knew how to kick his leg to get it going.

It is light weight and folds down flat, so we have taken it with us when visiting friends and family. The fabric can be taken off for washing, but even spot cleaning with a cloth works really well. Love the fact that you can reverse the seat and use it without the harness for when the little one can walk and sit down/get up alone.

Pricey despite price match but worth it!

earlier than that. Because it is so easy to move I can take it outside with me for him to sit in while I get the washing out and in. I can move it around the house with me so he can watch me as I get the household chores completed. Bub has bounce himself in it - which according to the Baby Bjorn website helps him develop balance and motor skills - this information was also a selling point for me when deciding which bouncer to use. My bub must find it comfortable as he can sleep in the bouncer. When my back needs a rest I can bounce it with my foot and send bub off to sleep. I think bub feels more involved in activities when he is in the bouncer - he can sit up a little and can see both his parents talking. I have not yet bought the toy due to the extreme price. I didn't mind paying money for the bouncer but the toy itself is more expensive than many of the bouncers out there. It is also the only option I came across which didn't include the toy with the bouncer. I couldn't cope without a bouncer - I would find it hard to get anything done without it. Being light and easily moved bub can enjoy the outdoors and indoors and it can also be taken with me when visiting other people. And lastly I like that the bouncer has different levels - though I haven't used them much as yet I like that it allows them to sit more up right the older they get - I feel this will mean I get more use out of it. I thought about putting the cost as a con in this review however I feel it was value for money - but who wouldn't want to pay less! I got the Bubs Baby Shop to price match The Pram Warehouse and got it at a reasonable price. Easily stored, easy to wash, bub can bounce himself which is meant to improve balance and motor skills. placed my son in the bouncer in the sleeping position, he was too light, which meant the sleeping position was too high of an angle. He didn't sleep in this bouncer at all.

The true value of this bouncer was only realised when my son grew older and gained weight. The three positions of the bouncer are now what they say they are and my son absolutely LOVES this bouncer.

He will entertain himself for ages, from gently bouncing himself to sleep to bouncing nuts to the Wiggles. My son bounces so hard that sometimes it looks like he'd go flying out if he wasn't strapped in, but this bouncer is designed so well, you will have no safety concerns. It can take alot! It really is like a babysitter, giving me time to get things done around the house. It's a great baby settler, easy to clean and folds flat, we take it with us everywhere.

Definitely my #1 baby buy. Multiple positions, comfortable, easy to clean, allows baby to exercise, entertains baby for long periods

Fantastic bouncer! – This was such a great buy. It has kept my bub entertained and happy for so many hours. She's just starting to grow out of it now and I'm disappointed to be packing it away. She has always loved that she can make it bounce herself and we have never found the need for an automated one. It's portable, lightweight and easy to adjust - I couldn't be happier with it. Definitely one of the best things we bought for bub and well worth the money.

Love this bouncer – This is a great bouncer. Easy to use. Machine washable. 3 settings for infant to toddler. My son didn't like it initially but he came around once he was 3m old and wanted to be where the action is. Not too expensive and great for folding down and taking it on the go. I wish it would hold more than 9kg to utilise the bouncer part. My son is a hefty bub and will outgrow this before 6m of age. That is my only gripe.

Love this – Love the way it folds flat and it has different 3 different positons, it is also easy to clean, just pop it in the washing machine, great choice of colours and fabric. Very reasonably priced and easy to use. Like that you can add a toy and not have it on all the time.

Love this bouncer!! – Since my two kids have suffered of reflux, this bouncer is the best choice we could of have bought. Easy to unfold and put in the car, easy to carry around and the kids love it too. And the best part is that the cover comes off easily and can be chucked into the washing machine unlike a lot of the other fixed cushioned bouncers that can only be spot cleaned. Worth the money, good design – Have used this bouncer multiple times every day since we got it - safe, sensible design that doesn't make your house decor look like a kiddie toy circus. I got the wooden toy bar too. As well as being well designed and well made, this bouncer just LOOKS $100 better than all the other alternatives, so I don't think it's overpriced.

What a fantastic product!! – My daughter has been using the bouncer for her newborn son and it has been the most useful product. Once my grandson is place in the bouncer, he is settled. This frees up some time for my daughter. It folds up easily and can take it everywhere, also the fabric is soft and comfortable on babies skin.

Compact and very handy – Love the design of this one as it folds up and easy to put away, and take with me to friends or in laws when needed. The fabric is very soft so bub is always very happy when i put him in it. It is very light and the colour and design I love as after 3 kids with a gap in between my new bub its refreshing to actually have a baby product that isn't gaudy like most of the others on the market! Keeps my little man smiling which keeps me happy.

Very Good, But Overpriced – I've been using this bouncer for over 4 months now and love it. It's solid, soft and comfortable for baby and she could even make it rock a bit when she was only a newborn via her movements. I also got the toy bar made for the bouncer and it is excellent! The fabric is quick and easy to wash and dry. The only turn off on the product is the price, but I plan to keep this for children to come, so its a good investment.

Saved Me! – We have a baby with reflux who was attached to us! After reading reviews we bought this (she hated the swing we bought) and it has changed our lives. Five weeks on and she still loves it... more than being held some days. It's her own little quiet place... and we get our arms back!

Very nice but expensive – Glad that was a present because the price is a bit high but it is a quality product easy to wash. I used to put baby for a snooze or seat while preparing something in the kitchen. The wooden toy bar is nice and fun. Easy to recline and store. Now baby walks around (12 months +) it is a bit more difficult to have seated in it, but the bouncing is always fun.

Well-designed – This product is everything it says, stable, well-designed, safe. My bub is unfortunately only happy to bounce for a short time before she wants out - so we don't get the Nap time benefit unfortunately. I don't think she's uncomfortable so she may decide she likes it for longer as time goes on. Otherwise a great product when you need both hands for a short time.

Good product but not sure its worth the price tag – Well made simple bouncer. My baby likes it but she doesn't love it yet. There are other very similar looking bouncers in the market at a fraction of the price and I'm not sure what makes this one special. Having to pay $65 extra to add some toys is also a bit much.

One thing I found it should have a higher setting as he got heavier he was getting closer to the ground even on highest setting. He didn't like being that reclined and would lift head forward to see better.

Amazing! – Most certainly worth every cent. Our older daughter is 17kg and she still sits in it, rocks in it, has abused it (as 2yo do) beyond what even we thought the chair should take and its still as perfect as the day we bought it! I cant praise it enough, it is a brilliantly made piece of baby furniture and a must have!

love it!! – Bubs is now 5 weeks old and I wouldn't be without this bouncer!! Its lightweight so its easy to bring around the house with me. Folds flat which is a bonus and most importantly baby loves being in it. It has a really nice bounce to it ( not like the cheap bouncers that are stiff and dont really bounce well). Nice Bouncer – This bouncer is easy to clean and looks stylish and durable. My son used to sit comfortably in this bouncer. But he used to have reflux and every bouncer makes him vomit once it bounces. I ended up selling it though I like it. He also gets bored just sitting and bouncing himself.

bouncer is so light, it makes it very portable and not awkward to move around the house and the flat folded position allows us to take the bouncer on holidays or to the grandparents house.

I wish I had this bouncer for my first baby, it is an excellent well made product. The design looks simple yet it provides excellent support to her body and is effective in keeping her relaxed and comfortable. A must have baby product!

The only bouncer you would ever buy! – This bouncer was the best thing I could have purchased for my babies. Both my boys had reflux and had troubles sleeping when nothing else would settle them just putting them in the bouncer would work miracles. It is truly a godsend. So easy to wash, light and portable. OH and btw... not every kid loves the bouncer, my older son rejected it and never wanted to be put into it so please test it out or gradually teach your kid to love it.

Sleek, Stylish & Easy to Store and Clean - A Must Have! – The Balance Soft was given to me for the birth of my second child and its a godsend. It looks really stylish and is so easy to wash and clean, the mesh cover drying really quickly. It also folds pretty much flat which is great as we have zero storage space in our small house.
