Light , compact, easy – I purchased the pram when bub was 6 months old, at that time yoyo was my secondary pram which I left in the boot of my car and use for shopping trips, lunch and dinner etc when we are out and about, we even took it to the park and beaches when bub falls asleep. moving forward my dd is now nearly 5, and it has become our main pram since she was 3.… Read more

she still sit and sleep on it, probably not as comfortable as when she was little but still prefer it then walking great distance when we travel to her child care everyday and honestly she never complain.

The pram is very light and super easy to manouver in shopping malls ,street, etc.when we took the pram to the park its still quite easy to manouver and light not on the sand obviously but considering how light & compact the pram is its still easy to carry around if you need it on the beach for bub to sleep on or even to store some of the beach stuff. the pram folds and unfold easily , I just love how compact and sturdy it is. plus you can take it to plane cabin when travelling

the only con for me would be no leg rest or extender for when baby is still young, and no handle bar.

now I’m expecting another baby and looks like our yoyo will be in good use for years to come.

This is not worth the money - look for a competitive product – I bought the Feb 2016 babyzen yoyo pram for my first daughter after we needed a 2nd pram for commuting and airplanes. While it worked, it was a good pram. light, so we could get around and so necessary for airplane travel. Here is the thing, I used the pram in total about 18 months as a back up pram for both of my children. Being nearly £400 you… Read more

would want it to well made. After a while it was really wobbly in the steering. You had to firmly place both hands on the hand bar to keep it from flipping over or wildly steering off course. This can be quite exhausting. Especially when holding a coffee or holding your older child's hand. Maybe they have fixed this in newer models, but I've heard this from other mums too. Then, about a month ago, while coming home, my little daughter collapsed to the ground in the pram. The entire pram frame just broke apart. Luckily, we were close to home and even luckier the metal bars that sheered from the base didn't puncture her legs. The frame legs that broke were so sharp that they cut your finger to the touch. I contacted babyzen yoyo about this to report this as a safety fault. Their customer care was a joke. After contacting them 3+ times, with 0 response, I went through the company that I purchased it with, they got in touch with me and chased baby zen about it. Several days later their outsourced customer care department got in touch. They cited all of the safety standards that they adhere to and requested pictures. Which I sent and I will post here if photos are allowed. My daughter could have been seriously hurt and how can the frame of a pram just disintegrate like this? She was well within the weight limits. Anyway, after alot of annoying back and forth the company finally agreed to pick up the pram and 'see for themselves'. A month goes by, I hear nothing. Finally email them and they say that the fault is not covered under warranty (2yr warranty). Mine was expired, and it was. They offered 20% off a new frame. That's it. So I could buy another and risk the same thing happening again. Look, faults happen, but we paid a lot of ££ for this pram and used it as a back up for a pretty short period of time - on and off for 18 months). My Uppa Baby Vista was used like a tractor and was in solid shape ready to be passed on to the next mum. The Yoyo just fell apart and was kind of crap to push due to how wobbly it was. The company doesn't stand by the product when this happens and acted like they also could give a crap about my claim. I looked on all the web forums and no bad review of yoyo exists. I think they must pay to have them deleted. Or this is the first one. Maybe newer models of the pram are better, but their customer service sucks and if their pram collapses to the ground while you are out on the street with your baby - they could care less. So now you know! There are other competitive airplane models our there now and I'd look into those much more affordable versions before investing in this pram. Chances it won't last and it is not worth the ££.

Easy to use - great for travel – Pros Took this pram to Japan and it was great- easy to manoeuvre, compact, light weight to carry up and down stairs, great recline for baby to sleep. Able to take the pram onto the plane without question - staff at the check in counter even made sure it’s a yo-yo. Loved the rain cover and a great accessory that comes with the pram.. kept baby and… Read more

pram dry and also blocked wind from blowing into the pram as he slept.

Cons

Still trying to master getting the pram to fold up correctly without having wheels crossing incorrectly. Also having the same issue when flicking out the pram, wheels seem to get stuck sometimes. I would have loved it if the pram would allow toddler to sit in a more upright position to see things. I’m not a total fan of the window on top of the hood as sleeping baby is sometimes disturbed by light filtering through onto his eyes. Would much rather have a zip to cover or nothing at all. For the price that you pay, i don’t know why they didn’t use a drawstring clasp which would have been much easier to get the seat reclining down and up.

Going strong at 4.5years!! Best baby purchase – I have been using the baby zen for 4.5 years now for 2 children and I am shocked at how good it still is. It has been on many international trips, used on cobblestone in Paris,Rome with no problems. It easily fits in the boot of the car. I have had “unofficial” replacement seat/sun covers that I swap with the real oneS every 6-8 months to give it… Read more

a good clean and new look. It doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles of huge prams but it makes up for this with the use ability and weight and manoeuvrability in shops.

Best everyday pram – We bought this as a travel pram but ended up using it more than just for travel. Seat Reclines flat enough for child to sleep comfortable. They have attachements for you to be able to use fro birth. Compact fold and lightweight. Definately worth the price. Once dirty, strip down to the frame and chuck in the wash. Show details

The BEST purchase I made as a mother – As first time parents, you buy a lot of stuff that you often regret. This is not one of those purchases. By far the best value and highest quality product we purchased. I cannot recommend it enough! I only wish the toddler boards were cheaper or they had a dual version now that I have another child. Buy the YoYo, you will not be disappointed. Show details

Not worth the money – For a $600+ pram, you get: - it does not fold as well as it appears in ads; - wobbly wheels when you push it any faster than walking speed; - bad quality - plastic handlebar button broke on its own (not because of wear and tear), also note we rarely even use this pram - terrible customer experience - out of warranty for a few months, and you have to pay $40 for a tiny plastic button that broke on its own (not because of wear and tear); Show details

The most overrated non functional pram! – Where to start! The pram hood doesn’t fold back at all so I have to pull baby down then lift out to avoid hitting his face. The pram is soooooo low to the ground and cannot be adjusted. Bub is only 3 months old and is already to long and feet touch the end.. pram is not made for Australian weather and baby is far to hot as there are no air vents. Show details

Did not like it – Sadly I did not like this pram and ended up returning it. It feels flimsy and the material seems to tear easily. Decided to purchase the bugaboo ant instead because of its quality parts. Also, i did not like the fact that there are many similar looking prams (some exactly the same) to this that was a fraction of the price. Show details

I love this pram so much. It is so easy to push, so smooth and light, I can push one handed no problem. It folds out in seconds, it’s a great size, big basket underneath, very decent hood for a stroller (although I would love slightly longer hood for more protection, that’s the only thing I’d change) Folds down very small, it’s just so well designed and such a smooth ride!

Best gift our family gave us – We've had this pram/stroller since day dot and we're still using it! Our little man is just over 3.5 y.o. We used the bassinet set up when he was a bubba then changed it when he outgrew that to the stroller set up. We love how we've only ever had to consider one pram/stroller. Sure, it isn't like an AWD and you're not going to run a marathon with… Read more

this stroller (not so great on gravel or cobble stones. Better on paved concrete paths). And you can't switch how it faces and the undercarriage storage would be considered tiny to some but that wasn't a big issue for us. It suited us perfectly and helped keep our minimalist lifestyle in check. Fits great in our hatchback car boot, was perfect for when we lived in a tiny 2 bedroom townhouse when he was born. Loved how it was so sleek and easy to maneuver in cafes. Oh, and it fits in change rooms and toilet cubicles! We felt pretty chuffed with ourselves when it folded and unfolded with ease (admittedly, required some practice and make sure you empty the storage compartment before you do!) and was great not to stress about getting a 'travel stroller' for when traveling. Fits perfectly in the overhead compartment of planes and perfect on trains or trams. Loved that we could fold when the trains/trams were super busy. Oh, and our little one vomited twice on the seat fabric and that was easy enough to detach and throw in the wash. Honestly, could not have been happier when we scored this gift!

Light and easy to maneuver but strap mechanism very annoying – I don’t know why people don’t mention this more but the strap buckle is really fiddly and feels like it requires 4 hands to do up. This is a big problem for a wriggly toddler. Would be a perfect pram if not for this. Show details

great shame purchasers of the first generation of stroller have been marginalised by the incompatibility of the second generation accessories. Very easy to push and turn, light weight – Very happy with this product. Would recommend to anyone. Turning is super easy, you could even do it with a single hand if you like. Folding and unfolding is also a quick job, done in 20 seconds. Light weight, good for travelling. The kid feels happy sitting in. The only drawback is still too big as the carryon luggage. But we know that before we buy it.

Worth every cent! – This stroller has turned from the holiday stroller to the main stroller that goes in the car because it takes up so little space compared with other strollers. would be not quite at the correct angle and you will need to adjust them before continuing to fold the stroller up, but that is not really a big issue.

It is not a trolley, but will carry the lunch box, just not your shopping. However, we did attach a few hooks (unadvisable for such a light pram), and do use it as a shopping trolley if we are carrying the baby instead.

If you are umming and arring about paying the $600 for it, just do it. As i put in my title, it is worth every cent!

Why not 5 stars? – Bought this pram on advice of many people. Love it and do not regret the purchase. Very cute, light, robust, small and zippy. People stop me in the street to ask about this pram! there is no ventilation in the hood. It becomes a little hot pocket.

- Newborn pack too small from 4 months and regular upright pram not suitable until 6 months which leaves an awkward gap. Which was exactly when we took a month long trip to Europe and Asia. We went with the new born pack even though our 4month old's feet were at the edge because it could lay flat.

- Sometimes difficult to fold down and lock as you need to reverse the pram up to get the wheels in the right position. Likewise when unfolding they tended to get caught on each other. Tough with a baby on one hip and a nappy bag over your shoulder and a queue of people waiting behind you at airport security.

- Very bumpy ride. Ive heard the new model has suspension- hallelujah! Tough work in Europe over cobblestone and even in my home town of Melbourne.

- Not all airlines let you carry this on. They check it at the gate. Singapore air will not let you carry it as of this week out of Changi.

you. Even though it appears to not be super sturdy it has handled cobbled streets in Italy and Paris with no troubles. It can be a bit difficult on off road conditions. Because it is so light and easy to fold I use it everywhere.

Summary:

Pros- easy to fold (after a few practices)

Can fit in overhead compartments of planes

Light

Good sun cover (compared to other compact fold prams)

Cons

Doesn't recline flat fully

Expensive

Small storage space - newer model is better

Because it's light be careful not to hang too much on the front as can overload

Other tips

For travel combine it with the Flybabee cover, my 14-month-old can easily have naps on the run while we are out.

I brought multiple accessories (foot bar, rain cover) through allieexpress for "baby yoya" prams and they fit perfectly.

It is so, so dreamy to use, to put it up and down in a couple of seconds, it folds neatly into a corner of my car, can use one hand to push if needed, baby likes that he can see me through the little plastic window above him, great shade protection too. If I could alter it by one thing it would be for the leg area to extend so my babies feet could be up a little when in recline but no biggy really. trips to the shops, especially when I have to be able to fit groceries in addition to the stroller in the boot. Bub seems very comfy with the flat recline and it is lovely to be able to see her in this position. The only negative part is that because there is no adjustable recline in 0+ mode it will only really be viable for maybe the first few months. Once bub wants to sit up I will have to switch to the 6+ mode...or use my other pram (Stokke Scoot V2) until she is old enough for the 6+ seat.

One other negative feature I would like to see improved is the canopy for the 0+ mode. It is very small and doesn't offer any shade really at all..

Just Ok – First the good: it's a really cute stroller that folds up nice and compact. Easy to maneuver on flat surfaces like in shopping centers and airports. is also too small and the seat is too short. I found my 9 month olds legs just dangled off the seat with no support. But I've seen younger babies with the same issue. Also, the recline isn't anywhere near low enough and the sun canopy is too short.

Overall, if you're after a compact stroller, this will do the job. But I'm just not convinced that it's worth it for the price. Plus, I actually think that kids are uncomfortable in it too. Even when I see other mothers pushing around their kids, with their feet dangling in the air, I feel sorry for them. Just doesn't look comfy.

Best for travel and public transport – I bought this mainly to use for when I'm using public transport. because of yoyo.

The stroller is very light weight to comply with airplane cabin regulation. It's also super slim and compact when folded. It comes with a shoulder strap so you can carry it on your shoulder and carry your child with you on your arms while getting on or off the public transport.

It is super easy to fold and unfold just like a yoyo. You just flick it like a yoyo and it will unfold. Folding and unfolding took few seconds (you just need a bit of practice beforehand).

To fold, while the baby still on the stroller, fold the canopy by pushing the two buttons on the inner side of the canopy; then take out your baby, squat down and press the red button on the bottom of the seat and pull the red lever button next to the red button. hold and pull the stainless bar and it will fold.

To unfold, just open the lock lever button (marked with red dot), hold the steering handle, and bring up high and flick it open just like when you play yoyo. If you do this correctly, it will open up ready to use. If you don't flick it right, you will need to adjust it slightly but no biggie.

It is easy to maneuver and it saves a lot of space if you use a car. So great if you plan to shop a lot and need lots of space on your boot. In terms of comfort, I still prefer my stokke. So unless I know I need a lot of space, I will use stokke when travelling with car (because then I could use stokke as a high chair instead of looking for high chair and having to clean up the dirty high chair). Because it is a travel stroller, the yoyo doesn't have much space for storage. And if you plan to use this for travelling or public transport, I highly recommend using backpack so you'll be handsfree to fold and unfold.

I will be bringing this stroller when I go overseas next year. We'll see how it works in the cabin then. Shouldn't be a problem I think. I probably will fold and carry it when doing check in just because I don't think they will believe me if I say this stroller will fit in the cabin so it's better to save time and just carry it as a shoulder bag when you are checking your luggage so that they could see how small it is folded.

Perfect .... Perfect. We bought the parasol for it also (while we were in Bulgaria), when it broke we were concerned that we wouldn't be able to replace it but when we arrived back in Australia the local distributor was happy to assist us.
