Light and easy to maneuver but strap mechanism very annoying – I don’t know why people don’t mention this more but the strap buckle is really fiddly and feels like it requires 4 hands to do up. This is a big problem for a wriggly toddler. Would be a perfect pram if not for this. Show details
Light , compact, easy – I purchased the pram when bub was 6 months old, at that time yoyo was my secondary pram which I left in the boot of my car and use for shopping trips, lunch and dinner etc when we are out and about, we even took it to the park and beaches when bub falls asleep. moving forward my dd is now nearly 5, and it has become our main pram since she was 3.… Read more
she still sit and sleep on it, probably not as comfortable as when she was little but still prefer it then walking great distance when we travel to her child care everyday and honestly she never complain.
The pram is very light and super easy to manouver in shopping malls ,street, etc.when we took the pram to the park its still quite easy to manouver and light not on the sand obviously but considering how light & compact the pram is its still easy to carry around if you need it on the beach for bub to sleep on or even to store some of the beach stuff. the pram folds and unfold easily , I just love how compact and sturdy it is. plus you can take it to plane cabin when travelling
the only con for me would be no leg rest or extender for when baby is still young, and no handle bar.
now I’m expecting another baby and looks like our yoyo will be in good use for years to come.
Best everyday pram – We bought this as a travel pram but ended up using it more than just for travel. Seat Reclines flat enough for child to sleep comfortable. They have attachements for you to be able to use fro birth. Compact fold and lightweight. Definately worth the price. Once dirty, strip down to the frame and chuck in the wash. Show details
Don’t buy – Bought this baby zen yo-yo last year ago the handful for the push chair was faulty and every time I will use pavements it will click down the handle this time my 2 year old was in it and the push chair fall side woods because of the handle clicked down he got accident on his lips I contact the Harrords where I bought it from they contacted babyzen… Read more
and I have warranty on it aswell they did not refund me and compasatid me for the accident of my child they just wanted to replace the handle as it was faulty. Don’t buy it they do not care about your child there push chairs after a while it becomes faulty. I will be contacting the solicitors taking it further with.
My only regret is not owning this pram sooner! – I can’t say enough good things about this pram! It is quite simply been the best thing I have ever owned as a parent over nine years of parenting. I only wish I found it in the beginning if I could sum this pram up in one word it is easy! It is so functionable so easy so light, basically to open it you just flick your wrist and it pops right… Read more
open in a second, so like you can wear it as a handbag. My six-year-old daughter and 18 month old sitting at quite comfortably and it lays back enough for them both to sleep. So good to travel with and it fit in the overhead of a plane. You can push it basically with one finger and that’s with both my children in it!
This is not worth the money - look for a competitive product – I bought the Feb 2016 babyzen yoyo pram for my first daughter after we needed a 2nd pram for commuting and airplanes. While it worked, it was a good pram. light, so we could get around and so necessary for airplane travel. Here is the thing, I used the pram in total about 18 months as a back up pram for both of my children. Being nearly £400 you… Read more
would want it to well made. After a while it was really wobbly in the steering. You had to firmly place both hands on the hand bar to keep it from flipping over or wildly steering off course. This can be quite exhausting. Especially when holding a coffee or holding your older child's hand. Maybe they have fixed this in newer models, but I've heard this from other mums too. Then, about a month ago, while coming home, my little daughter collapsed to the ground in the pram. The entire pram frame just broke apart. Luckily, we were close to home and even luckier the metal bars that sheered from the base didn't puncture her legs. The frame legs that broke were so sharp that they cut your finger to the touch. I contacted babyzen yoyo about this to report this as a safety fault. Their customer care was a joke. After contacting them 3+ times, with 0 response, I went through the company that I purchased it with, they got in touch with me and chased baby zen about it. Several days later their outsourced customer care department got in touch. They cited all of the safety standards that they adhere to and requested pictures. Which I sent and I will post here if photos are allowed. My daughter could have been seriously hurt and how can the frame of a pram just disintegrate like this? She was well within the weight limits. Anyway, after alot of annoying back and forth the company finally agreed to pick up the pram and 'see for themselves'. A month goes by, I hear nothing. Finally email them and they say that the fault is not covered under warranty (2yr warranty). Mine was expired, and it was. They offered 20% off a new frame. That's it. So I could buy another and risk the same thing happening again. Look, faults happen, but we paid a lot of ££ for this pram and used it as a back up for a pretty short period of time - on and off for 18 months). My Uppa Baby Vista was used like a tractor and was in solid shape ready to be passed on to the next mum. The Yoyo just fell apart and was kind of crap to push due to how wobbly it was. The company doesn't stand by the product when this happens and acted like they also could give a crap about my claim. I looked on all the web forums and no bad review of yoyo exists. I think they must pay to have them deleted. Or this is the first one. Maybe newer models of the pram are better, but their customer service sucks and if their pram collapses to the ground while you are out on the street with your baby - they could care less. So now you know! There are other competitive airplane models our there now and I'd look into those much more affordable versions before investing in this pram. Chances it won't last and it is not worth the ££.
Easy to use - great for travel – Pros Took this pram to Japan and it was great- easy to manoeuvre, compact, light weight to carry up and down stairs, great recline for baby to sleep. Able to take the pram onto the plane without question - staff at the check in counter even made sure it’s a yo-yo. Loved the rain cover and a great accessory that comes with the pram.. kept baby and… Read more
pram dry and also blocked wind from blowing into the pram as he slept.
Cons
Still trying to master getting the pram to fold up correctly without having wheels crossing incorrectly. Also having the same issue when flicking out the pram, wheels seem to get stuck sometimes. I would have loved it if the pram would allow toddler to sit in a more upright position to see things. I’m not a total fan of the window on top of the hood as sleeping baby is sometimes disturbed by light filtering through onto his eyes. Would much rather have a zip to cover or nothing at all. For the price that you pay, i don’t know why they didn’t use a drawstring clasp which would have been much easier to get the seat reclining down and up.
Great little pram – Great little pram. Can easily use 1 hand to move it around. shame that you can't lay the little one completely flat to change nappy but it is possible in the end. It's so compact! Am very impressed. The sun shade isn't so great as it doesn't cover the little mans legs - but can't expect much if you want it to be compact. I've purchased the… Read more
parasol (waiting for it to arrive) so hopefully this cover him. I use this stroller to do a lot of walking around outdoors and it handles the terrain quite well.
Yes it's a bit pricey but it's worth every cent. I wish i had bought this right from the beginning and just bought the car seat adapters etc. I first bought the Silver Cross Pioneer but it's just so big and bulky that it doesn't really get used any more.
Very easy to push and turn, light weight – Very happy with this product. Would recommend to anyone. Turning is super easy, you could even do it with a single hand if you like. Folding and unfolding is also a quick job, done in 20 seconds. Light weight, good for travelling. The kid feels happy sitting in. The only drawback is still too big as the carryon luggage. But we know that before we buy it.
Best Pram – I have had the stroller for 8 months now and I am super happy I waited for it. Originally brought for travel but I now use it everywhere over my bulky britax. It has been in many plane overhead compartments, the only plane I have had trouble with is the Qantas dash 8 (small propeller). If you do a lot of airport travel this is the stroller for… Read more
you. Even though it appears to not be super sturdy it has handled cobbled streets in Italy and Paris with no troubles. It can be a bit difficult on off road conditions. Because it is so light and easy to fold I use it everywhere.
Summary:
Pros- easy to fold (after a few practices)
Can fit in overhead compartments of planes
Light
Good sun cover (compared to other compact fold prams)
Cons
Doesn't recline flat fully
Expensive
Small storage space - newer model is better
Because it's light be careful not to hang too much on the front as can overload
Other tips
For travel combine it with the Flybabee cover, my 14-month-old can easily have naps on the run while we are out.
I brought multiple accessories (foot bar, rain cover) through allieexpress for "baby yoya" prams and they fit perfectly.
Just Ok – First the good: it's a really cute stroller that folds up nice and compact. Easy to maneuver on flat surfaces like in shopping centers and airports. The not so good: I found the wheels to wear out quite easily on anything other than flat, smooth, tiled surfaces. Sometimes I found it to be a little bumpy for the little one as well. The basket… Read more
is also too small and the seat is too short. I found my 9 month olds legs just dangled off the seat with no support. But I've seen younger babies with the same issue. Also, the recline isn't anywhere near low enough and the sun canopy is too short.
Overall, if you're after a compact stroller, this will do the job. But I'm just not convinced that it's worth it for the price. Plus, I actually think that kids are uncomfortable in it too. Even when I see other mothers pushing around their kids, with their feet dangling in the air, I feel sorry for them. Just doesn't look comfy.
Best for travel and public transport – I bought this mainly to use for when I'm using public transport. I live in Melbourne and not all trams are pram friendly (they have steps and narrow opening) and the platforms are not raised in many parts except certain parts of inner city. Most of the time I have to rely on fellow passengers to help me lift up the prams but now I don't have to… Read more
because of yoyo.
The stroller is very light weight to comply with airplane cabin regulation. It's also super slim and compact when folded. It comes with a shoulder strap so you can carry it on your shoulder and carry your child with you on your arms while getting on or off the public transport.
It is super easy to fold and unfold just like a yoyo. You just flick it like a yoyo and it will unfold. Folding and unfolding took few seconds (you just need a bit of practice beforehand).
To fold, while the baby still on the stroller, fold the canopy by pushing the two buttons on the inner side of the canopy; then take out your baby, squat down and press the red button on the bottom of the seat and pull the red lever button next to the red button. hold and pull the stainless bar and it will fold.
To unfold, just open the lock lever button (marked with red dot), hold the steering handle, and bring up high and flick it open just like when you play yoyo. If you do this correctly, it will open up ready to use. If you don't flick it right, you will need to adjust it slightly but no biggie.
It is easy to maneuver and it saves a lot of space if you use a car. So great if you plan to shop a lot and need lots of space on your boot. In terms of comfort, I still prefer my stokke. So unless I know I need a lot of space, I will use stokke when travelling with car (because then I could use stokke as a high chair instead of looking for high chair and having to clean up the dirty high chair). Because it is a travel stroller, the yoyo doesn't have much space for storage. And if you plan to use this for travelling or public transport, I highly recommend using backpack so you'll be handsfree to fold and unfold.
I will be bringing this stroller when I go overseas next year. We'll see how it works in the cabin then. Shouldn't be a problem I think. I probably will fold and carry it when doing check in just because I don't think they will believe me if I say this stroller will fit in the cabin so it's better to save time and just carry it as a shoulder bag when you are checking your luggage so that they could see how small it is folded.
can't live without this - it is perfect – We bought this because we were going travelling with our 6 month old baby for 4 months and it was small and light weight. It is one of the best things we ever bought and couldn't live without it. We went to Eastern Europe and used it every day - it even survived the cobble stoned streets which surprised us and proved to us that this was a… Read more
quality stroller. We were always able to take it onboard the plane either in the overhead or under the seat in front. It was easy to get on and off trains and buses even without folding it because it was small enough to wheel down the aisles. It reclined sufficiently for our baby to sleep ...... Perfect ..... Perfect .... Perfect. We bought the parasol for it also (while we were in Bulgaria), when it broke we were concerned that we wouldn't be able to replace it but when we arrived back in Australia the local distributor was happy to assist us. Not only is it a wonderful pram but the service from the Australian distributor exceeded all of my expectations.

Life Saver – Yes its slightly expensive for a stroller but it saves a lot of space, especially if you drive a small or medium car with minimum boot space. The handle is long and the hood covers the baby well. I stopped using the pram and now use the stroller everywhere. You won't regret the purchase.
Highly recommended! You won't regret – My original pram is a Steelcraft Acclaim. Worst decision ever made. I bought the Yoyo through a friends recommendations, cause I couldn't go shopping to buy say... boxes of nappies on special because there's no boot space. Not only is this stroller so compact and light weighted, it's amazingly easy to steer. I do it one handed. It's also very… Read more
stable for its size.
I went to the airport with it and when asked to check it in, I told them I wish to take it on as a carry on. Being at the airport early, I really don't want to hold my infant on my arms for long. It's folds up so quick in fits in the overhead cabin easily.
I bought a cup holder and a mosquito net for my Yoyo as well. Although it ain't cheap but if your gonna spend this much money on a stroller, why not use it to its best?
My husband loves it as well. He laughs every time I show it off in public. Is a breeze to fold and unfold. You can do it one handed. Check out the Babyzen Yoyo clip on YouTube it see how amazing it is to fold and unfold while holding your child on the other arm.
Pros:
Extremely light (5.7kg).
Can carry on the shoulders. Comes with shoulder straps. Easy to carry up the stairs if required.
Extremely easy and super fast to fold and unfold.
Very light steering. One handed even.
Can bring on any airplane as a carry on.
Easy to wash. (Peel off, garment bag, washing machine).
Various colours to choose from.
Cons:
Very small basket.
Reclines not the best. Doesn't fully sit up straight or fully lays down.
Nowhere to attach toys.
Hard to find places to buy accessories.
Fantastic stroller – We bought this at the baby expo last year in anticipation of an overseas trip this year. The stroller really does fit easily in the overhead compartment on the plane and we had no issues with the ground staff with getting it on. We were away for 3 weeks and our 6 month old loved sitting in it every day. She seemed very comfortable and while the… Read more
hood did not provide full cover from the sun, an Outlook "shade a babe" fitted easily in the storage compartment and fitted the stroller well. We found the stroller light and easy to fold up and while it does not have the suspension quality of our Bugaboo stroller, it was fantastic for the trip and we now use it to take shopping as it fits so easily in the car. We also did not have any concerns with the small size of the basket as we purchased pram clips to carry our nappy bag on the back of the stroller.
Best buy ever! – We got yoyo mainly for our now 9 months old son's 1st overseas trip 3 months ago. Were a little hesitant mainly because it was expensive and I wasn't too sure about the small basket. But it's been great since day one. It saved our life during the trip and used it with our 4 yo daughter as she was the super tired and cross one so as soon as we were… Read more
out of the plane we'd open yoyo put her in and voila, problem solved as my son still small enough for the carrier. Love it in our daily life as well. I can get in&out of trams so easily and being able to push it while holding my daughter's hand is a great bonus for me. I strongly recommend yoyo....
haven't looked back – Thought long and hard before this purchase as it was big investment for stroller. But finally took the plunge and love it. I have had it for six months now. Easy to fold, and unfold. Guilds along, easy to handle. Great for trips on planes. (Sometime air line staff dont get it until they see it folded). Great for long car trips because it frees up… Read more
so much space for other items. Great for eating out as it folds away, easy to carry if you have to take stairs while still carrying bubs - no heavy lifting. The basket is small, but its not designed to be moving truck. Just a great easy pram. Frame is well designed and solid quality. Fabric be a bit better for the liner but thats being picky. Just so glad I took the plunge.
A dream pram but there a little disadvantages – Love love love our yoyo! easy to push, unbelievably light, fashionable looking, compact. :) we used it for our travel to perth and even though our boarding time was 12mn little miss 1 is having a sweet sleep in her yoyo... i picked her up for boarding, folded the pram, went it and and throughout the whole flight she was just asleep in my arms..… Read more
sooo helpful not having to deal with a tired toddler.. i do have to mention that i have another pram (mountain buggy) which i use for long exercise walks, jogging, etc. i used the yoyo for quick trips to the shops, playgrounds, and library. :) i would use it everyday but its my precious yoyo. lol
disadvantages would be
-small basket. but thats really okay.. i have hooks for my nappy bag and thats fine
-upright position - my daughter looked slouch and uncomfortable on it the first few days.. i always had to sit her up.. i made a quick fix by tying a luggage strap at the back of the seat so when my daughter sits on it the luggage strap stops it at a good seating angle. (i hope u get what i mean?) it doesnt affect fold and i unclip when relining the seat.
-no provision for snack try for child
great lightweight compact stroller – my cousin had one of these and he loved it. I had an icandy. which was a fantastic pram. but a bit heavy to take in and out of car and for travel. so I decided to get the yoyo as well. its a bit on the pricey end at $500 for a lightweight stroller. And I think the straps should be a bit longer, as its hard to buckle in flat mode. But for a… Read more
lightweight stroller. It wheels easy, looks good, folds easy, is very light at 6kg, and my 2yr old seems to like sitting in it.
Most portable and easy to use travel pram! – Pros : Lightweight Compact Easy to fold and unfold even with just one hand Stylish Sturdy and easy to clean Easy to maneuver Big canopy Great design Highly recommended!!! Cons : Small basket Difficult to find . When I purchased one, they ran out of stock and I had to wait for 3 months... Worth the wait!!! Over-all. Very happy mum and toddler! ☺️
