Komfort pellet heater
We bought the "Ziegler & Brown komfort pellet heater" from BBQ galore in Hobart 2 years ago.
Within a year the burn pot's bottom no longer had a bottom as it burned away with normal use of the heater.
We contacted BBQ galore store, but most staff had no idea what I was talking about and the one person whom knew what I meant said that they can't order parts for the pellet heater.
I tried multiple times in store and on the phone with them to get a replacement burn pot, but I received the same response every time.
What company offers a product for...
Bought 2 new outdoor BBQ's for $1500 each and they rusted. I live in the suburbs, not near the sea and they are in a sheltered area.
Still new and never had a chance to use them.
Outdoor BBQ's... rusted... just let that sink in.

I ordered a BBQ to be delivered this week. The address was altered after the order was submitted by the BBQG back-end systems (correlating the postcode to an incorrect suburb), and the order was attempted to be delivered at the wrong address.
I called their general enquiries line (1300 139 867), and was promised the issue would be fixed, and would be called back in 30 mins.
2 hours later, with no call-back, I tried the number again and received the "message bank full" automated response.
Narrelle has given me the best customer service I have ever had and that is saying something as I am ,73 years young. I had a problem with a blistering hood on my z &b chilli red, 2 burner BBQ.Not once but twice and her sympathetic and understanding telephone manner is a lesson to be learned by a lot of other companies who get complaints.She has now organised for my third new hood to be delivered and let me know there was a batch problem with the paint on the previous two.Excellent service, Fantastic work NARRELLE
Don't buy from this company they only sell rubbish
I have been so disappointed with everything I have bought and the service even down to delivery from BBQ Galore , after waiting home for 2 days and having issues with the delivery and then the wrong table arriving and having to wait home again the following morning , then to opening the boxes for new years eve . To then finding the table was dented , one of the umbrellas having 2 holes and then to top it off the second umbrella today while my grandkids were in the pool with little to no wind and held down with 60kg decided to come down just m...issing them and half going over the glass fence ( its now buckled ) .Absolutely rubbish I would like all that I purchased be picked up and have a full refund I'm disgusted with BBQ Galore and the quality of everything we purchased .
Ordered a 8 piece outdoor setting over the phone during sale. On delivery the wrong table was delivered, we were told that they made a mistake and gave us wrong table, claiming both had same name. Then wanted us to pay another $500 which we declined. Table and chairs were collected with no apology and only to say that the young fellow who did the transaction only works their 1 day a month so doesn't know the products properly. When you check online there is only 1 table with that name so very strange. Have written to head office who phoned twic...e in the middle of the day (whilst you at work) using a land line with no option to return call and even said in message that he wouldn't leave mobile, however he is on the move all the time so won't be able to reach him back. Tried calling him straight back to number he called from and was told he had left the store already. Obviously a good way to avoid having to discuss or take ownership of their mistake. Very bad service and would not recommend to anyone. There are plenty of other places to buy outdoor furniture and alike so BBQ Galore you need to pick up your game or you will lose more customers - you have certainly lost this one!
Bad customer service and staff training
Three weeks ago went to buy a smoker for my husband Fathers Day $1000 worth plus. The salesperson was impatient when we asked questions( isnt that what they are there for?) then we were told they didnt have stock. We waited three weeks then a call on wed to say its ready but a piece is missing. When my husband called the woman said in a tone Jesus christ because he was asking ahe it would be ready. I then called and spoke to manager who initially apologised and was actually quite nice. And apologised when I told him politely that it was a
Unacceptable amount of surface rust.
Beefmaster BBQ has been under patio, out of weather and within 6 months developed surface rust all over the cabinets. Cabinet not rigid so if you've got exposed aggregate flooring surface like mine, the doors will always sit crooked and they're no longer adjustable. Company not helpful after they've taken your money at point of sale. Will go back to a Weber in a few years and not bother with them again.
Best advice from Judy
We recently had a huge problem fitting our new Beefeater built in barbecue.
Unfortunately, we didn't buy it from Barbeques Galore, we should have.
But, we received the best, helpful advice from Judy when I called her explaining how we had bought a barbecue ready for natural gas and we had a gas bayonet already fitted at our house, but the hose that came with the barbecue didn't have a bayonet fitting. The shop we bought it from was absolutely no help and not interested in any after sales help either.

NO service at ALL
Spent around 10k on an outdoor Ziegler and Brown kitchen. Within weeks of purchase contacted BBQ Galore re concerns of the fridge being noisy....No response. Contacted Ziegler and Brown directly who assisted. BBQ Galore ended up advising fridge is normal......2 years down the fridge dies. Contacted BBQ Galore and got a file #.....Have never heard from them again even after 4 follow up emails to them asking what was happening? Again contacted Z&B direct who advised they will attempt to contact BBQ Galore....
I like the Z&B product, just DONT buy from BBQ GALORE as there is NO after sale service!
Visited BBQ Galore Castle Hill today to purchase a BBQ and outdoor setting. On entering the store there were 3 staff members and 2 customers other than me. So I wandered around and found the product I was interested in purchasing but I had a couple of questions. 20 minutes later after 2 of the staff members walked past me 3 times not even acknowledging me, not making eye contact, or offering a simple 'Someone will be with you shortly' I decided to leave the store and spend my $2,000 - $3,000 elsewhere. At the exit one of the staff smiled at...me and I simply mouthed the words - you just lost a sale. At that moment one of the staff who had passed me numerous times literally chased after me to see if I needed any help - you have got to be kidding BBQ Galore. I will never ever spend another cent with you - and I am a regular customer who would have easily spent over $15,000 in your stores to date.
BBQ Galore Venus Deck Chair - piece of rubbish
Barbeques Galore claims that the Venus Deck Chairs are "outdoor furniture" and guess what? They should not be kept outdoors because the fabric deteriorates. What a terrible product. What a scam that Barbeques Galore sell a product that discolours from white to grey after a year (just after their warranty expires). They wouldn't replace the poor quality product that they sold me because I was out of warranty. Thanks. They certainly did NOT do the right thing by me. I have to basically throw them out because I cannot have that around my home. I ...even tried cleaning the fabric with a high pressure hose. Not good enough. They look disgusting. Please do not buy these "OUTDOOR" VENUS deck chairs if you want to keep them OUTDOORS around your pool to look nice. They will look horrible in just after a year like the images attached. I am completely turned off BBQ's Galore as a company. Thanks for selling me a product that doesn't do what it should do. Oh and by the way, the Outdoor pizza oven you sold me is also a piece of rubbish.
Customer Service Barbecue Galore Nunawading Store, Melbourne, Victoria
Bought a barbecue from the Nunawading Store. In store service was good. Paid for delivery and installation at home, specifically specified AM delivery and installation time.
Got a text message from delivery company that delivery time will be between 12.45pm and 3.45pm. Tried to call delivery company that time is not good as I will not be at home. Took lots of time and effort to get this done. Called barbecue galore Nunawading, no help either.
Day of installation no indication from installer. Call Barbecue Galore. Spoke to manager. Said he can’t help until I threaten to report him to head office, he than, said he will contact installer and get back to me.
Customer service is zero.
Terrible online service, never received product
Horrible online customer service. I purchased a present for my partners birthday and they failed to send it. Gave me no communication about when it is coming, they literally don’t care, just take your money and that’s it. I emailed 3 times and called 3 times and was lied to that it was going to be made priority but then just ignored again. Finally I demanded a refund. This is such a shame as in person they aren’t helpful and friendly in their shops. I would recommend getting your online service and delivery together before you further damage your company reputation.
Damage caused by JETTE Highback Outdoor Dining Chair
JETTE Highback Outdoor Dining Chair (JETCHRL) – DAMAGE TO FLOORING CAUSED BY ANGLED REAR LEGS: After complaining about the damage to my deck timbers caused by the sharp angled rear legs of these chairs not sitting flat on their plastic inserts, I was told by BBQ Galore Customer Care that the damage was our fault. They said we were probably rocking the chairs or our deck was made of inferior wood. Seriously stunned! These JETTE chairs obviously have a design fault and I would suggest all those who have purchased them to check their flooring for damage made by the rear legs and consider the long term effects especially when the plastics inserts start to wear.
