Visited BBQ Galore Castle Hill today to purchase a BBQ and outdoor setting. On entering the store there were 3 staff members and 2 customers other than me. So I wandered around and found the product I was interested in purchasing but I had a couple of questions. 20 minutes later after 2 of the staff members walked past me 3 times not even acknowledging me, not making eye contact, or offering a simple 'Someone will be with you shortly' I decided to leave the store and spend my $2,000 - $3,000 elsewhere. At the exit one of the staff smiled at...me and I simply mouthed the words - you just lost a sale. At that moment one of the staff who had passed me numerous times literally chased after me to see if I needed any help - you have got to be kidding BBQ Galore. I will never ever spend another cent with you - and I am a regular customer who would have easily spent over $15,000 in your stores to date.
BBQ Galore Venus Deck Chair - piece of rubbish
Barbeques Galore claims that the Venus Deck Chairs are "outdoor furniture" and guess what? They should not be kept outdoors because the fabric deteriorates. What a terrible product. What a scam that Barbeques Galore sell a product that discolours from white to grey after a year (just after their warranty expires). They wouldn't replace the poor quality product that they sold me because I was out of warranty. Thanks. They certainly did NOT do the right thing by me. I have to basically throw them out because I cannot have that around my home. I ...even tried cleaning the fabric with a high pressure hose. Not good enough. They look disgusting. Please do not buy these "OUTDOOR" VENUS deck chairs if you want to keep them OUTDOORS around your pool to look nice. They will look horrible in just after a year like the images attached. I am completely turned off BBQ's Galore as a company. Thanks for selling me a product that doesn't do what it should do. Oh and by the way, the Outdoor pizza oven you sold me is also a piece of rubbish.
Customer Service Barbecue Galore Nunawading Store, Melbourne, Victoria
Bought a barbecue from the Nunawading Store. In store service was good. Paid for delivery and installation at home, specifically specified AM delivery and installation time.
Got a text message from delivery company that delivery time will be between 12.45pm and 3.45pm. Tried to call delivery company that time is not good as I will not be at home. Took lots of time and effort to get this done. Called barbecue galore Nunawading, no help either.
Day of installation no indication from installer. Call Barbecue Galore. Spoke to manager. Said he can’t help until I threaten to report him to head office, he than, said he will contact installer and get back to me.
Customer service is zero.
Terrible online service, never received product
Horrible online customer service. I purchased a present for my partners birthday and they failed to send it. Gave me no communication about when it is coming, they literally don’t care, just take your money and that’s it. I emailed 3 times and called 3 times and was lied to that it was going to be made priority but then just ignored again. Finally I demanded a refund. This is such a shame as in person they aren’t helpful and friendly in their shops. I would recommend getting your online service and delivery together before you further damage your company reputation.
Damage caused by JETTE Highback Outdoor Dining Chair
JETTE Highback Outdoor Dining Chair (JETCHRL) – DAMAGE TO FLOORING CAUSED BY ANGLED REAR LEGS: After complaining about the damage to my deck timbers caused by the sharp angled rear legs of these chairs not sitting flat on their plastic inserts, I was told by BBQ Galore Customer Care that the damage was our fault. They said we were probably rocking the chairs or our deck was made of inferior wood. Seriously stunned! These JETTE chairs obviously have a design fault and I would suggest all those who have purchased them to check their flooring for damage made by the rear legs and consider the long term effects especially when the plastics inserts start to wear.
Barbecues Galore - Caringbah
I shopped around for a small table top gas BBQ to suit my needs in 4 major stores. Ben at this Barbecues Galore Caringbah store was by far the most knowledgeable and helpful person I came across. He listened to what I wanted and then gave good advice and useful tips comparing brands and pointing out the advantages and disadvantages relevant to my needs. He wasn't pushy or impatient either and carried the BBQ to my car. It was the least stressful appliance purchase I've made in a long time. Thanks Ben!!
2 burner gas cooker WARNING
Bromic 2 burner gas cooker model DC200, used 4 times still looks new except it is pitted all over the top with tiny rust holes where salt water has splashed whilst cooking crabs. It was wiped off but the stainless steel is such POOR quality it may as well be raw metal. The raw metal is visible under the paper thin coating of stainless steel. We went back to Barbeques Galore MIDLAND where we bought it and was told if we wanted decent stainless steel it would cost around $2,500.00. RUBBISH. My large kitchen sink didn't even cost that much and is still perfect no matter how much salt it has seen. Dodgy product and couldn't care less staff attitude. BEWARE !!!
Change of measurement stuffing customer around big time :)
5 burner Turbo bought a few years back. Nor 100% ticked off learning that BBQ Galore changed their measurements which makes it impossible for me to source an upgrade/replacement!
6 or so years ago I bought a high end built in BBQ from them where the entire brick foundation was measured and tailored based on this unit.
Now I learned that they changed their standards making my foundation to small for "modern" BBQs (guess this would last another 3 years before they change again - !!!)
I simply cant tear this foundation down and start from scratch. So now what :(

The worst shopping experience! Pick-up day found it is oversold!!!
We paid a BBQ grill on 5 Dec at the full price. The sales, [name removed], told us we can not pick it up that day because the warehouse worker was not there at that time. And we can pick up on 9th. We live 25km away from the store. Therefore, after we paid the money, we got the receipt. In the receipt, it is clearly printed, customer will pick up from warehouse on Sunday. Sunday afternoon, when we arrived at the warehouse to pick up our grill, the man told us the grill we paid for were all gone, all sold. Nobody told him to keep one for us. We...were so shocked that this could happen here. The man didn't think it was his fault. Then he called the store, the store offered us some other grill which are completely different from the one we wanted. We had to go back to the store which is another location to refund our money. The reason later the sales told us is, during weekend, the store was busy and they didn't check whether they had more grill and just sold everything. And there was nothing they can say only sorry!!!!!! I can't not believe it. It was 36 degree on Sunday. We drove totally 50km to pick up a grill. And this store, BARBEQUES GALORE sold the grill which is already belonged to us to someone else. and There is nothing they can do!!!!!!!! Busy weekend is not a reason it is an excuse. You guys work careless and just want money from the customers and do not provide any customer service at all. YOU wasted our time, our Sunday. Such an unprofessional store, the staff do not even know you should check the DATABASE first! The worst shopping experience! Not happy .. purchased a bbq and asked prior to payment if it would be here before Christmas, I was guaranteed that it would be, I received a call today that the bbq had arrived but the rangehood would not be available until after Christmas but I could come in and pick up the bbq.. no offer of delivering the rangehood, poor service I won’t be cought again
Ziegler & Brown 6 burner BBQ
Great service at BBQ galore Kotara, staff knew their products and were very helpful and a great range to choose from . The side of the business that lets down this store is the delivery and installation person ($230 for this service) as there is no communication from him about delivery until the night before at tea time. Lucky I work from home. After using the BBQ I found that one of the elements wasn’t working properly so the store told me to swap around the elements to check it’s not a element. It wasn’t the element it was the connection. Th...e same person that does the installation is the person is also is the maintenance person. He phoned me at 6.15pm when I was out with friends and I missed his call and he left a message saying he will be at my place in the morning. I quickly sent him a text saying that I have a appointment in the morning and I’ll ring him during business hours. When I rang him in the morning he wasn’t impressed that I couldn’t be there and he said it will only take 5 mins but I told him that I had made this appointment 6 weeks ago. I then had to wait 3 more weeks for him to come after phoning the store and going in and seeing them and them ringing him why I was standing there. When he came to fix it he blamed me for it not working as I had moved the elements over like the store told me to do and he said that’s the reason it’s not working, then he asked me had I touch the screws which I hadn’t. The young man working with him had to step in and explain to him that I didn’t do anything wrong. He is very unprofessional with his attitude, chewing gum, communication and blaming me for the BBQ not working properly and I felt he thought he was doing me a favour not a service that I paid for. We paid $2,600 for this BBQ on sale. If BBQ galore could fix this problem this would be better for the store and then this would be a fantastic service from start to finish. Now that the all elements are working properly it’s a great BBQ especially the grill as you get amazing charred grill flavours
Terrible Delivery Service
We ordered an outdoor couch to be delivered the following weekend. After the delivery not arriving and waiting at home all day on a Saturday we were told there was an error and it would have to be delivered the next weekend. We weren’t offered a refund for the delivery service we paid for of any compensation for a mistake on their end. The delivery then came the following Saturday. Communication from the delivery men was terrible and their ability to use the trolley efficiently ridiculous and the amount of time they spent delivering the couch made me feel uncomfortable with them in my house.
Would not recommend.
Appalling Customer Service
I tried to purchase 2 books online using Afterpay and collecting from the local store it wouldn’t allow me to complete purchase saying I must ring the local store (Port Macquarie) or change option to delivery which would have cost $19.95 for postage but alas it still said these items cannot be delivered.

Customer Service as it used to be!
I called the BBQ Galore Logan during the week to see how much their 9kg LPG refills were (after being shocked to find the local BCF would not only NOT price match as they advertise but had also put UP their prices a month back!...last time I shop at BCF).
When I got to the store this weekend the young bloke advised me someone had knocked off their LPG kit a day or two before and they couldn't refill it...I was saddened as I had driven down there just to refill the bottle. Rather than have an unhappy customer they improvised with some gear the...y got from Anaconda upstairs (safety gear etc.) and got the bottle refilled for me. For this I say 'Well done Team' :o) We bought our BBQ from this shop years ago and, apart from the sterling service it has given us, I am now, more than ever, a fan of the crew...and they are cheaper than BCF and Bunnings!!!! Update: Went there this week and they no longer price match against Anaconda gas refills :o( Have dropped them from 5 star to 4 as a result.
I bought a top of the range BBQ. I was told 48 hrs supply time. I rang 5 days later and was told it wasn't in as yet. When I asked when it would be in I was told IF i find out I'll ring you. I asked if she could find out and once again I was told IF I find out I'll ring you. Maybe when it's time to pay the balance I'll say IF I find my credit card I'll pay.

Have a beefmaster premium bbq with matching trolley and double burner. Just over 6 months old and had surface rust all over it. Never used chemicals to clean it and is well out of the weather. Is this a warrantable item? I'm disgusted it's not even lasted a year without looking like crap.
Does anyone have any experience with the connoisseur 4 burner bbq from Bbq Galore? Any advice? I cant find much information online on it.
