Amalfi 4.2 x 2.8 royal jade - from sales to install to handover the Team have been great and we are very happy with the quality, care, communication and service from every person we dealt with on our journey. New to pool ownership so still learning, everything maintenance wise so far has been quite easy. Install in June so still yet to actually have a swim. The pool looks amazing. done. Luke was very professional and a true leader to his team. From the initial consultation with Steve to which was thorough ,helpful and very fair . The paperwork,booking in and the invoicing from Sharon to which she is fantastic and just an awesome chick to deal with , Our pool installer Mark that was just a weapon , had a great sense of humour and made it all look easy and finally Chris that did the handover , explained everything perfectly, patiently and left us with a shining pool ....they were all just a fantastic bunch to deal with and we are extremely grateful .
At this point of time i cannot recommended barrier reef northside enough and hope any future dealing with them stays like this.
Just remember everyone ,Unfortunately there is always going to be little issues that occur with any project you do, but aslong as the communication and trust is there i believe thats all that matters. Be patient, be fair and give them a chance ,we are all human.

Sharon from the office was an absolute gem—always kind, helpful, and eager to clarify any concerns we had along the way. When it was time to move forward, we were introduced to Luke James, our site supervisor. Luke was extremely responsive, punctual, and meticulous in overseeing the project, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
The excavation was handled by Nick, Darren, and Chris, and these guys were nothing short of legends! They went the extra mile to keep everything on schedule, demonstrating their expertise and dedication to the job. Then came Mark and Chad, who installed our pool—and what a team they were! Their energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism made the process not only seamless but also entertaining. They worked with precision and had our pool installed well within Barrier Reef Pools’ high standards—all while keeping the mood light with smiles and even a bit of dancing!
The entire dig and install process was completed within just two days, which was truly impressive. Thanks to their efficiency, we were swimming in no time! Finally, Mark from Golden Pools handled our handover, and he was fantastic, ensuring we understood every aspect of maintaining our new pool.

This is where I have to say our experience went from potentially a negative one to an outstanding one. Instead of just delivering us some bad news & saying 'sorry' Danielle went above & beyond to shift things around to ensure we lost minimal time & ultimately we finished on schedule as a result. I understand things sometimes don't go to plan but the communication & fact I could see her efforts to rectify things rather than simply put it in the too hard basket was hugely appreciated & why I will speak highly of the experience.
As for the end result? It's stunning & amazing to have a pool to use through a long hot summer whenever we want.

Heartbreaking – Don’t do it - spare yourself the heartache, pain, anxiety, stress and overall financial burden. Installation was a joke and having anyone return in a timely matter to have it handed over and working properly, if only that had happened.
Now the pool has continual daily issues, we are being threatened for money for a product & service that still is not right and expect clients to make contact with their sub contractors / suppliers to sort out?
They just wipe their hands of everything. So much for a family dream …
Worst experience – Terrible quality of workmanship from their subbies (which they claim no subcontractors work for BRP). Had issues with plumbing and the supplied heater been undersized for the pool, to which they wanted to charge another 5K to fix. Sand and rubbish left onsite after the install, over 8 weeks from beginning to finish the job after filing complaints… Read more

Just Dont go there – Google Barrier Reef Pools Gel Coat issues - seems like every pool they instal has gel coat bleaching issues My 2.5 x 2.5 pool only went in May 2020 and already white bleach line at waters edge. assured by the manager that the gel coat issue had been fixed and that they where using a new provider… Just don't go there - Biggest bunch of unprofessional cowboys I have ever had the misfortune to have hired.
