I used to own a pool with a simple pump and added chlorine when needed, never ever had any issues. This thing is complicated, very user unfriendly and designed to keep you heading into the pool shop. UPDATE: I HATE this pool heater. Passionately! This is the most frustrating appliance I've ever bought, and if I could throw it over my neighbor's fence I would. on overcast days. And even then, it'll just stop for no apparent reason - as it has now. It's currently sitting at 25.5 degrees and has decided to just turn off and sit there. No reason, no error, nudda - and no way to force it back to life.

Did I mention how much I HATE this thing!

I was sold an Elite V4-140 to replace my old Astral pool heater (because parts were no longer available), on the basis that the Madimack was *apparently* much more efficient than my Astral, and the inverter would back off once the pool was heated. Yeah, great in theory, but this rubbish heater doesn't go close to heating the pool like my old Astral did. The Astral could easily push it to 32-34 degrees on a warm day, but the Madimack struggles to get to 28-30.

"Oh, the heater must be too small then!" I hear you say. Nope! It's because you have to finely tune this excruciatingly temperamental machine to find the elusive Goldilocks water flow rate... too little and it gives an E3 error and turns off. To much and the machine will heat at snails pace. And even when I do get it running the output water temp is certainly nothing to cheer about!

Honestly, this machine is total rubbish, actually uses a ton of power, and if I could somehow give it back I would! What started with looking for someone to repair my Astral heater, ended up with me being sold something 'better'. I should have stuck with Astral and bought one of their new inverter heaters. Instead I'm stuck with ineffective, expensive junk that I 100% REGRET buying!

So just don't do it. There must be better machines out there!

I am aware that there is a 3 year warranty on these devices, but there is always a concern that the company might try to get out of it on a technicality. Not the case with Madimack. Very impressed with how responsive they were over email to help identify the issue, and resolved my problem with the quick delivery of a replacement unit. I raised the issue on Friday afternoon, and had the new robot delivered via courier on Tuesday morning! This is the type of customer service that drives brand loyalty, and would put Madimack to the top of my list when looking at options for other pool purchases.

the pool water. They inspected the wiring to both the house and the heat pump but found no issues. Assuming the unit was faulty, I contacted Madimack on a Friday afternoon at 5 pm. To my surprise, by Monday morning, we received a call from Wes, a Madimack technician, who scheduled a visit to our site for 7:30 am the following day—even though we were located a two-hour drive away. Wes was incredibly professional and provided exceptional customer service, assuring us that the issue would be resolved quickly and safely. Within just five minutes of arriving, Wes identified the problem; an earth cable in the isolation box that had not been connected. This was something both our electrician and the Ausgrid technician had missed. Although it wasn’t his responsibility, Wes promptly connected the earth cable and resolved the issue. He even took the time to explain how to operate the unit properly. I couldn’t be happier with the service and the product. My heat pump is now running perfectly, and my pool reached 32°C in less than a day. I’m so pleased I chose Madimack for my pool heating solution. Their customer service is top-notch, and the product is fantastic!

successful outcomes. We had 7 months of flawless operation from the heat pump with the pool sitting at 28 degrees or more. Compare that with barely 3 months of swimming with our previous solar PVC rubber. We have solar PV panels and this meant minimal operational costs; pool heat pumps and solar panels make a great match. Today I switched the Madimack back on for the start of the new and second season. There was a slight glitch. I texted Dean asking for advice; he responded within 2 minutes! And the system was up and running shortly afterwards. This is setting a high benchmark for many service companies to aspire to. I have no reservation in recommending the Madimack product especially when backed up by great service company like Paladin.

We had an issue with our Madimack Eco Pool Heat Pump, caused by a power surge. Madimack's support person, Karla Gwyeneth Velasco resolved the issue in a timely, courteous manner and sent out the appropriate spares which were installed by an electrician. Terrible WiFi performance - don’t buy it for that feature – Beware the poor quality WiFi module. We purchased the Elite V3, and the functionality of the heat pump is fine, however the WiFi is awful. Constant dropouts occur. The signal is -81 dBM at best and gets far worse. We have an Astral Halo system right next to it that gets -69 dBM, which is far better. network, suggesting installing boosters (which are terrible) and blaming your network. I am a trained network engineer and frankly know how to test my WiFi signal performance which is near perfect at the installed location. The only person you can speak to at Madimack, a lady (can’t remember the name) treats you like an idiot. What should be an amazing product is let down by a cheap Chinese WiFi module and even worse customer support. Their response will be to talk to the lady that treats you like an idiot again. No thanks, I have better things to do with my time.

takes 4 days to heat up:，however thats not what i been told before i purchased the unit. So unless customer have magic minds that they can predict that they going to swim after 5 days and willing to wait and sacrifice more costs then yes u should buy madimack. Also the after sale services after installation is extremely below expectations. And now they don't admit the fault they refuse to do anything for me. They haven't even offered to send anyone to do tests. They also haven't offer any kind of help such as upsize to reduce the heating hours etc. I just feel after sale they totally forget u.

Also on their website it mentioned it takes around 10 hours to heat ，however, according to madimack manager it means heat 10 hours everyday to maintain the desired temperature after heat up to the temperature first. It is misleading and very unclear. The heater is a expensive purchase and now I'm very regretting of picking madimack brand.

Great heat pump, fantastic and fast support if you need it – We have a Madimack heat pump. The thing is amazing compared to our old system. We needed a part replaced under warranty. Paladin Services Australia got the part and installed in minutes. Product and support have been fantastic.

Amazing customer support – Totally unexpected outcome. I had a fault on a Variable Speed Pump Inverter. My warranty had expired and I needed a new replacement logic board. Madimack screen black and won’t turn on – We have a madimack and it’s been great. We recently turned it off for a few weeks and I can’t get it to turn back on? The screen usually has a lock icon at the bottom but this is not showing and I am holding my finger on the screen for a long time with no response. Has any had this issue? Show reply

So worth it! – We purchased our Madimack 22KW Elite V3 through Dean from Paladin. He explained the benefits of this particular size unit and even suggested to add an inverter and a pool cover which lowered the consumption of electricity, which has kept the water temperature at 28 degrees.
