Efficient and quiet heat pump

Very happy with our Madimack heat pump. It is very efficient and warms up our 50,000L pool quickly and quietly. I highly recommend this heat pump for those that want to get the most usage out of their pool.

Perfect Install & Great Service

We engaged Dean and the Paladin team to install a 17kw Madimack Elite V3 and the Madimack Inverter.

From the outset Dean was communicative and quick to respond. The install was done smoothly and left the site clean.

The pool heated overnight and we have been swimming ever since.

Thank you Dean and the team. Highly recommended.

Great Heatpump - does the job and is quiet

Went with the 32Kw model and really happy with its efficiency and how quiet it is. I used Paladin services to install it and Dean from Paladin was great - very professional and happy to answer all my questions.

Great product, very professional installation

We purchased a Madimack 27KW Elite V3 from Paladin. The sales and installation by Dean and staff were highly professional and they were extremely polite from a customer service perspective. Overall, we were happy with the product and installation, it all works to deliver the outcome (a comfortable pool) as you would expect.

Now 12 months old and going fine.

It was a DIY except for the electrics. Only problems have been with the wifi going offline every month or so.
Then trying to get it back on line. Which is imposable if you don't happen to be home and even then is a pain. that's why it got a 3 out of 5 stars.

Hi all, I have just purchased the Elite V3 40KW Pool Heat Pump and keep getting the E4 error message - this is the first time I have used it. The pump actually boots up and powers to 30% before cutting out. My electrician has checked that he wired it correctly, and there is nothing wrong with the isolator or the power it is drawing. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, was there an easy fix?

Madimack
Madimack ·

Hi Jamil, You have an Elite VS3 40Kw which is a 3 phase heat pump. The warning code E4 Indicates that the unit is protecting itself and a phase rotation issue exists, We would recommend a suitably experienced technician review the phase rotation. Should the issue persist please contact our customer support team.

Thank you very much for the reply. What is a ‘phase rotation issue’? And when you say ‘protecting itself’, does that relate to it cutting out before it shorts?

Madimack
Madimack ·

The incoming 3 phase electrical supply needs to be a specific sequence for Heat pumps to operate, Your licence electrician will understand this & be able to determine correct phase rotation.

I have the Madimack eco 13kw. Is there a way to turn off the LCD Display in the machine when the machine is turned off? At the moment, even when the machine is turned off, the termperature is displayed.

Hi Benson,
I have checked the manual for my Madimack 17kW Elite V3 which says that when the unit is plugged in but not turned ON, the display is basically blacked out except for a dimmed small icon at the bottom (a padlock /the letter M). If you have it connected to WiFi, it will also show the familiar wifi icon on top. This is precisely what I have and definitely there is no temperature showing. For my model, the LCD does not have a complete blackout option.
Unfortunately, I do not have access to an Eco13Kw manual, but I am assuming that Madimack would have kept a similar design feature across its range. I am happy to follow it up for you with the engineers at Madimack, they have great support. Please let me know.

Thanks Victor. The ECO 13kw is a little different. It just shows in red the temperature when it is turned off but connected to power. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to turn this display off when the machine is turned off.

Hi,

I have an Eco160 heat pump and I am not getting any voltage on the P2 output terminal when the heat pump is switched on. I have a bridge between A and P1 and also have parameter 6 set to 100 as per the manual however when the pump is switched on there is still no voltage at the output terminal.

Is there another setting that needs adjusting for this to work?

Noting that I have unplugged the cables at the top of the terminal that I was advised go directly to the output plug as I have the switched outlet for the circulation pump hard wired.

Cheers

Hi Barry, Thanks for your enquiry. I would recommend submitting a query online https://madimack.com/au/support/service/request or via email at support@madimack.com.au they will most likely request photos so they can support and provide a solution for your application. I hope this helps.
