Great pool heater! Very efficient
Got an Elite v3 installed by Agua Vida Pools early this year and it's been great. We've been swimming up until Easter! Highly recommend Agua Vida if you're in Bayside - great service and prices
Great product, still swimming in April
Dean and the Paladin Services team are professional and easy to work with. They got our 22KW Madimack Elite installed with no fuss and it is a neat install.
Would recommend Paladin Services and Madimack
Great Heatpump
Have a 35,000L pool. I wasn't sure what size heatpump i needed.
Madimack sent me a heating evaluation on my pool. It help me determine we needed a 17kw.
I saw the reviews for Paladin Mechanical and got Deans number from madimack.
He confirmed the 17kw with a pool cover would be perfect for our pool. Install was seemless and could answer all my questions.
The heatpump is great, heating the pool to 29 degrees everyday. Kids are loving it.
Was originally going to install a gas heater, Im so glad we went with the heatpump as now our solar panels are paying to keep pool at temperature.

Excellent product, installed beautifully
After looking at various alternatives, I settled on the Madimack V3 17kW for our 40,000 litre pool with cover in the Perth Metro area. Local agent James at Pool Heating Solutions WA was very pleasant, approachable and helpful and guided me towards the best installation option after a site visit. I settled on an installation to the existing (unused) solar heating pipes, with a separate circulator pump alongside the Madimack unit. Installation by Pool Hero was fantastic. Such a neat job. Very pleased with the results. Our pool is currently (early...
Read more April) running at 30 degrees every day and I expect very reasonable running costs to allow swimming for 9 months of the year (using a pool cover), especially now that we have had solar power installed. Wi Fi control was a little tricky to set up (it requires a strong 2.4GHz signal at the Madimack's location), but now using the InverGo App I can control my Madimack V3 from anywhere in the world and see the pool's water temperature, as well as adjusting the power output. Within the App you can also set up timers to switch the unit on, adjust power and switch off at the best times for you. Very sophisticated. The unit is very quiet, looks good, has a great warranty and gives an impression of solid reliability. I am very pleased.Find out how Madimack Pool Heat Pumps compares to other Appliance Brands

Madimack heat pump
Purchased and installed heat pump after my pool solar heating that was past it's use by date. Heat pump is great. Highly recommend the team from Paladin Mechanical with their customer service and professionalism from helping me choose the right heat pump to the installation.
Great service and product!
I found Dean’ details from this website based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews of the Madimack Heating system but Dean’s service in particular. I wasn’t disappointed. Dean came out to explain everything in detail and verified the size of system needed. Install was delayed due to covid shipping but once arrived, install was swift and followed up by Dean to ensure all was in order. No hesitation in recommending both system and Dean!
Madimak Pool heat pump
Brilliant unit installed by Agua Vida in Melbourne
Very quiet and has enabled me to place solar panels on the roof. The old rubber solar heating had deteriorated and this was a simple decision. Jeremy did a great job
Madimack Elite v3 140

Madimack Pool Heat Pump
I purchased a Madimack heat pump from Steve at your Brisbane office.
He was fantastic to deal with, very knowledgeable, he explained everything I needed to know about which heat pump was required for the size of my pool and also gave me a detailed run down on the cost to run the heat pump.
The Madimack heat pump has been great. It is very high quality and very easy to operate from my mobile phone. We can't get the kids out of the pool now ☺ It has been worth every cent. We are very happy customers . Thanks again Steve!

Impressive Product and Quality install!
We decided on a heat pump after reallocating our pool solar heating on the roof to instead generate solar electricity. After much research into heats pumps for our 80,000 litre pool built in 1968,, we settled on a Madimack 31.8kW V3 heat pump.
The largest of its kind single phase unit’ has only been recently released in December by Madimack and so far has been brilliant for us! Working directly with Madimack and Peninsula Pool Supplies to determine the best solution for our pool, we had the confidence needed to make the larger investment that...
Read more will no doubt pay off over time. Installed by the team at Peninsula Pool Supplies servicing Melbourne’s South East and Mornington Peninsula, we continue to have great ongoing service and are looking forward to using the heated pool over some cooler days in Spring, Summer and Autumn when needed!- 12 reviews

Perfectly heated pool every day
Coming from solar pool heating, the difference with a Madimack v3 21kw heat pump is day & night, we have gone from being able to swim comfortably for just a couple of weeks in summer to swimming every day since spring in consistently 28-30C pool. Coupled with a good size solar panel system it's extremely cost effective to run and I can throttle it down using the app on cloudy days. Dean and his installation team were friendly and efficient.

Impressed and Overall Very Happy
Installed a Madimack V3 27kw Elite series heat pump late last year with zero regrets for a 50,000 litre pool.
We power the heat pump via solar power, so no power costs to heat the pool and find that we can get an increase in pool temp of about 3-4 degrees during the day when needed. We don't have or use a pool cover. We can control everything too with an iphone/ipad app (on/off, desired temp and heat pump power settings). The unit is so quiet too. Absolutely zero regrets with this purchase and installation.
Our supplier and installer was also Grant from Tempshift Pool Heating and he was just great. Good and regular comms all the way from quoting to installing and then with follow-up. Very professional at all times.

Happy with new installation,
I have just had a Madimack Elite 13.8kw system installed. The pool is so much better to swim in, the temp is up to a comfortable level, making it so much more comfortable to get in and stay in longer.
Our supplier and Installer Grant from Tempshift Pool Heating
Servicing Brooklyn to Hunter ga.tempshift@yahoo.com 0422 726 812 was great, good communication while working out the details then was prompt and did a great job with the install. My whole family is back using the pool again so we are happy.

Great support & Customer Service
After doing a fair bit of research and costing, i decided on adding a heat pump to work in conjunction with our solar heating for our pool. After numerous quotes and discussions with various companies & options wether to upgrade & replace my solar unit, abandon it & just geat a heat pump, l contacted David Young from Madimack who did a evaluation of my setup, and sent me a document giving me all the details of size of unit needed, to complement my existing solar set up full specs including time of year usability , running costs etc, also a in...
Read morestallation mob in my area. I then contacted Peninsula Pool Supplies and spoke to Nathan , well everything was well managed and organized within a week, the unit was expertly installed and looks and works well, you can hardly hear it running., nothing was to much trouble for Nathan who was very knowledgeable and helpful. The heat pump has certainly given us far more use of the pool, it normally only runs a few hours in the morning, when the heat from the sun turns on the solar, which maintains the heat till very late afternoon. The running costs of the heat pump are minimal, especially when the sun is generating power from our solar panels, the pool & heating pumps aren't adding costs to our electricity bill. To get the most efficiently out of this setup you must have a pool cover on your pool to maintain & keep tje heat in. In closing Madimack certainly delivered great support and service, we couldn't be happier with our choice and the service experience.Only worth it if you've got a pool cover
I would really only recommend that you get this if you have a pool cover, or you live in an area with a relatively constant air temperature. I've installed an Elite V3 22kw system to replace an existing solar pool heating system and it's been a huge regret.
Updated the review to include electricity usage information and images:
- installed Dec 2020
- under Madimack instruction, ran it for continuous 72 hours on first use
- runs ~12 hours a day to recover and maintain lost heat

Read moreor like (except the Madimack) has more than doubled with the Madimack for the month of December. And that's even with my 18kwh solar battery - the Madimack draws from that until it's done, before drawing from the mains power. The Madimacks are not efficient or effective HEATERS so much as MAINTAINERS or pool temperature, which isn't clear from the marketing material. They will take forever - i.e. days - to get your pool heated to a desired temperature, then you have to keep it at work to fire up when required to maintain that temperature. If you experience fluctuations in air temperature and weather (e.g. Melbourne), or go away for a few days and switch it off, then the whole process starts again. While the marketing information will provide very optimistic times for heating without a cover, these are certainly not my experience.Questions & Answers
My previous question regarding how to unlock my screen for my Madimack elite v3 seems to be straight forward. However the lock/unlock is highlighted and when pushed for 3 seconds does not respond. So I am unable to turn on my heat pump. Can you set up wifi when the pump is controls are not working?
Sorry to hear that. I have just tried it with mine and if I hold my finger there for at least 3 seconds it comes on while I am still holding my finger in place. I don't think you can set up wi fi unle...
Read moress you can use the panel controls as you need to be able to get the wi fi icon to flash to connect the heat pump to your phone and the app. You could try turning off the isolator to the heat pump, waiting for 30 seconds and then turning the isolator back on. That might re-boot it and reinitialise the panel (however there are timers on the unit and it may take a little while to be ready for use). If you still cannot unlock the panel you should contact your supplier/installer as there may be a fault. In any case, they really should have set you up with wi fi and the app as that is the best way to control the Madimack. Sounds like you may need a service visit!Hi Terry,

I have a Madimack elite v3 17kw. Only been installed for 4 mths. Has been running well . Now find I cannot unlock the sensory control panel.
How can we engage the sensory panel?
The display is quite dim until unlocked. To unlock the display press the Lock/unlock “button” at the lower part of the display for 3 seconds. When display is unlocked it will be much brighter. You can...
Read more then change the settings. Take a look at the manual to see what you can change. However, I have found the best way to control the Madimack V3 is to connect via Wi Fi and use the InverGo app. This app is very flexible and you can control your Madimack V3 from anywhere (in the world) once it is set up. Much easier to set timers, temperature, power settings etc. from the app. Good luck!Buyers beware. I have an elite v3 22kw Madimack. The difference between the input water temperature and the output water temperature is one degree and cannot be adjusted up. This means it takes 4 hours of continuous running to lift the pool temperature by one degree. Check before you buy.
