Was a good job until you need repairs.
After 4 years paint started to peel so I called them for repairs under their 7 year guarantee. Initially had to wait 6 weeks and now a day before they have delayed it another 3 weeks. Not impressed.
Worst customer service there is none
Customer service there is none. Have stuffed me around for 3mths having basin resurfaced. Bathroom werx totally messed up. This is a sordid business whose first response was well we've lost money on that job (yes I heard you in the background on the phone) They are such tight a*es won't pay for a courier Melbourne to Adelaide to send paint to fix. here excuse its too expensive have to wait until they have a full order. I did my own research $100 freight obviously fixing their mistakes & keeping a customer happy is not a priority. Avoid this unscrupulous company at all costs.
Would not recommend
In 2020 we had our shower and basin done in our ensuite and bathtub in the bathroom by Werx. There were some issues and it has take more than a year to rectify. I understand we were in lockdown and that added to the time but some of these problems should not have happened. When the basin was done, the tech did not mask the mirror and of course there was overspray. Also the basin now has a green tinge in it. The thing is before the “new” enamel we never this problem with the old basin. Also I took days off work for the tech to come out only to ...be told on the day it was cancelled. Also the enamel started coming off the shower basin in the corners and between the tiles and shower base. It was fixed by using silicone sealant. Now you can still see where the enamel is missing through the silicone sealant. The bathtub did turn out alright but we should have saved the money and put it towards a proper renovation. Buyer beware.
Bathroom Werx Review
Paul from Bathroom Werx did a great job and our bathroom is transformed! We had great commuication and he made every effort to make the process as easy as possible.
7 Year Guarantee not worth a bumper- we have waited 4 years already
We had our bathrooms and laundry resurfaced in 2017. Every year for the first 3 we tried to get the flaking paint fixed. We were told that as the franchisee-who no longer worked in our area- was responsible for any issues, they couldn't help until a new franchisee started on the Gold Coast. Needless to say none have started, our bathrooms look a mess with flaking paint everywhere, and are now looking at a full renovation to remove the tiles altogether. Guarantee should be from parent company as all bookings go through them the invoice has their...address on it and they presumably get their franchisee cut, but I have been told repeatedly not their problem sorry. No point having a National company guarantee something they can't. Shoddy work with shoddy results and no support. Buyer beware! Cost of legal battle not worth it, which I'm sure they know.
Be carefull of this firm
Very hard firm to deal with. Takes deposits but did not do our bathroom shower base. Took several requests for the return of the deposit and only returned after threats of going to consumer affairs.
Looks Like New!
Darren from Bathroom Werx did a wonderful job of resurfacing our old cream bath to a fresh, vibrant white. Very professional, neat and quick and looks amazing - we are very happy with the result.
Thank you Bathwerx and especially Paul (our technician) for the fantastic job you did on my old cast iron bath. Paul was friendly, professional and finished the job in record time. My bath looks amazing, like a brand new bath. Very happy with the service from start to finish.
I had my bathroom basin and bathtub re-enamelled by Bathroom Were and I wasn't 100% happy with the result. It was mostly 90% well done...just a couple of rough edges and little marks. They came back and made sure it was 100% perfect and that I was happy. They were great to deal with.
I am so happy that I chose these guys to refinish my bath and vanity basin. They did a perfect job, and, they had to remove a very shonky job done by someone else just a few months before. The product they use is obviously far superior. I am very happy with the result. Thanks! Cheers.
I was really impressed by the workmanship, my re-enamelled bath looks brand new. The tradesman was friendly, punctual and cleaned up well when he was finished. I highly recommend them.
Sparkling white re enameled shower
I was very impressed with Jason who attended my property a few months ago to re enamel my shower.
Jason arrived a few minutes early and patiently waited for me to let him at the allocated time. I found him to be very professional, courteous and he worked non stop the whole day.
From what I observed it’s a challenging job due to the nature of the work and because you are confined in small quarters, but Jason worked away quietly, diligently and cleanly leaving me with a sparkling shower.
Jason is an asset to your company due to with his hard work ethic and respectful people skills. My parents used your services last year and we equally impressed with the finished result.
Poor service, totally unreliable!
I don’t know why I persisted with these people. Even the appointment for the quote had to be postponed by Bathroom Werx. Then I was given a written quote saying the work would take 4 hours and a deposit of 10% was required when booking the job. I was also told that the job could be done within 1 or 2 weeks of making the booking. When I rang to book the job, I was told the earliest date was in 5 weeks’ time and I had to pay a 30% deposit; they said the quote had been written on an “old form”. I still booked the job! On the Tuesday 2 days be...fore the scheduled date, I called Bathroom Werx and they confirmed the job was going ahead at 8.00 am on the Thursday. Then on Wednesday afternoon I get a call that they’re running late; the job can only be done on Friday and will take all day to complete (not 4 hours as was written on the quote). I have other commitments on the Friday and ask if Monday will do but I’m told the earliest date will be in 2 weeks’ time; “other customers have already been inconvenienced”, they say! Realising that these people are disorganised and totally unreliable, I cancelled the job and found another company to do the work. The only thing Bathroom Werx did well was to refund my deposit, although I did mention that I would take the matter to Fair Trading if they failed to do so. I wouldn’t recommend Bathroom Werx to anyone. .
Not happy with service
Small makeover to take 2 days took 18 days to complete regrouting tiles and painting of a shower hip bath. Work done by incompetent tradesmen needed to be repaired by more experienced tradesmen. Took an extra week for an experienced worker to start the repair, then another week for the next expert to complete the repairs. The claim of no mess is a joke, spent over an hour cleaning grout out of floor tiles, as well as having to clean all surfaces. Grout material was thrown out onto front garden and lawn, not happy with having to remove debris left by lazy messy workers. The finished work is pleasing but not worth the stress and anxiety experienced by this very senior citizen.
Great service and much cheaper than Reno!!
Turned my very retro baby pink bathroom white! Lovely finish and so much cheaper than a Reno! Was able to get the tiles and tub all redone and my bathroom is now looking much more coherent! Was Super quick to complete too :)

What happens to your guaranty when the worker does not work for you anymore
HI I was told that it wasn't the company's problem, but required either the franchisee to correct the problem, or I had to wait for a new franchisee in the area who may help. 4+ years later we gave u...p, no follow-up from the company and we used a different solution. Be very careful, and possibly consider an alternative. Guarantee is not a warranty which therefore appears to be worthless. I threatened to take further action but while consumer law is there, the cost and onus of proof is all the buyer's. I did my dough sadly.
How much 2 paint a bath tiled in 2 my place?
You would have to contact Bathwerx for a quote.
My shower base approx 84sqcmx5cm depth needs resurfacing. Just wondering about a quote.
I think you might be directing that question to the wrong person, I'm a former customer not a provider. Good luck with your reno.
