Please note 'Ezy Flights' is now called 'Up n Go Travel'
Disgusting & fraudulent
Paid for some advertising with a marketing company on the promise of 4 free flights overseas- Thailand, Bali Fiji
Upon payment ($685) you then find out it’s only return flights. Then you find out you have to use they’re specified travel agent and stay for a minimum of 7 nights at the one resort. On completion of the form you get a call from “upngo” travel! It all then begins to unravel where he tries to force you to book stuff straight away and promises you the best deals without giving any information away. Barely offered me any info and choi...
Totally a scam. DO NOT USE!
My husband was offered two vouchers because he signed on with some advertising for his business. Thank god we didn't waste any money on purchasing these vouchers and so have come out of this unscathed without wasting a cent. Others I note have not been so lucky. I had done my own homework on what our holiday should cost. When I took my research to Up n Go they tried to talk me out of my selected destinations as they "would never recommend these places". They were apparently "terrible". This was interesting to me considering I could get great de...als here and had had many family and friends stay at these places and provide wonderful opinions on them. Of course Up n Go travel wanted to push me towards their preferred destination/apartments/resort and said it was much nicer "though will be a little bit more expensive...because it is nicer". When I checked their recommendation out it was extremely run down and looked far worse than what I had in mind! Once [name removed] from Up n Go knew I was not an idiot and knew what prices I should be paying (as opposed to just accepting whatever he told me), he never called me back! surprise surprise! he knew I couldn't be scammed. Do your research and homework people. Know what you could get and make sure Up n Go can get you a better package, otherwise not worth it and you will pay a lot more. They are also not flexible, everything has to be their way. They don't send written quotes for review and you have to be able to commit and pay your money over the phone. This did not sit well with me either....
Up and Go - Too Good to be Real - Scammed
We were told if we bought $540 of advertising we would get 4 free return flights to five destinations Thailand, Fiji, Bali, Sunshine Coast or Goldie.
Wrong, Wrong, Wrong!!! When it cam time to 'use' our flight vouchers...
Living in Tasmania we would have to pay full fare to get to Melb or Sydney.
Then pay for all taxes and levies. Pay for baggage over 7kgs per person.
Accommodation... had to be min 7 nights... nothing we liked to stay at was available... we tried to select the best of a bad bunch of accommodation, at no point was a list o...
Scam, stay away!
Be warned, do not go through this company. Received holiday vouchers which offered free flights to one of 5 locations, if you stay a minimum of 7 nights. Long story short, was charged an additional $700 over what I could have payed if I had booked the holiday myself, and that is if i also purchased flights! A total fraud, scamming innocent people of their money. Stay away, throw your vouchers out.
Not Even Worth Any Star!!
I paid nearly $500 for two from any destination to any destination within Australia.
I was told, i could choose my trips dates (3 return trips x 2 people and to choose my own preference of hotel stays /accommodation. I understood that i had 3 years to use it up. The airfares were locked for 3 years, regardless of fluctuating market.
They never said that the hotels were of their chosen chain group with expensive rates for x number of days and to have them paid ahead before traveling. They're absolutely a smooth operating scamming group, alarm bells should ring...they should be made to refund to unsatisfied customer, and current affairs should investigate this company.
Don’t do it Up’n’go is nothing but a scam.
I was rung up by a sales person who made it sounds sooooo good. Two return flights for just $235 plus a fee. Still a real bargain at $240.
At no time was there any mention of specific resorts we had to use.
My wife did lots of research and we sent off the form and back came something completely different and a price that seemed a little too high.
We were wanting to spend 4 nights in Melbourne and then hire a car and drive around the coast to Sydney staying 3 nights around Nowra to catch up with fa...
Pathetic. Scam. They should NOT be trading!!
Don't purchase these vouchers!! We paid $700 more through Up and Go then it would have cost us if we booked the same holiday ourselves. The 48 hour cancellation is NOT actually possible once flights are booked... When I pushed the issue, I was told that they couldn't do anything about it, as there was a sale on the accommodation at the time and it was unfortunate. We could only fly out of Sydney (we don't live in Sydney-we live in a different city that also flys direct to the Gold Coast). When I refused to accept their pathetic explainations, I was given another voucher to use in the future as compensation, with a 'promise' that next time we will get a good deal. I don't think so 'Up and Go'!
Up n Go Travel, is a Scam - Ripping Unsuspecting Travellers Off
I booked 3 return flights to Sydney to take my children on a holiday last year when I was in hospital with cancer.
Last week I rang up n go travel to book the flights and was told there was no flights available and
I would have to book hotel rooms at a cost of $800 per person per room in March next year.
When I paid for these airfares there was no mention of a requirement to book hotel rooms.
This is just a scam to rip travellers off.
Absolute rip off!!! Waste of money!!! Scam!!! Don't buy bogus voucher
The vouchers sound too good to be true...guess what they are. Trust your gut feeling and don't buy them.
They only offer expensive accommodation and they don't have cheap flights. It's cheaper to book your own flights and accommodation. I did and it was $700 cheaper than up and go's price and that including their bogus vouchers. I asked for a refund but they refused. I think everyone who have had problems should report them to Fair Trading and let them deal with them.
Waste of money -- dont do it
I decided to purchase 2 of their packs which were "encouraging travel in Australia". When i went to use the flights i couldnt unless i used the 7 nights accomodation with them and they were quite pricey. I didnt end up using them at all and am quite annoyed by that.
This is nothing but a scam, I am trying to book to go to the Whitsundays for the end of July and they reckon there is only 2 options left. He did the massive sell for Peppers resort, which they must be agents of and he gave me a really expensive price.
I Went on Peppers own website after the conversation and for the same dates and number of nights, I could get it for nearly $900 cheaper than they wanted to sell it at.
I will never be going through them again!
No stress holiday!
I'm surprised at the reviews here, as I had the most positive experience with Up & Go, from a customer service point of view and value for Money. I have just had my holiday in Cairns, staying in Port Douglas, which as you may know can be an expensive place to holiday. I asked Up & Go for a quote and once I receive their quote jumped online to do some research. Up & Go were clearly the cheapest! Even when comparing on those accommodation deal sites. I stayed at the Mantra in Port Douglas, was beautiful, breakfast included no problems. Paid up & go, got my travel itinerary... Just really easy! Thanks guys!
Nightmare!!! Stay away!!!!
Don't go near this company! I've tried to get my money back after feeling like I didn't get all the details correct. It all sounded too good to be true during the initial phone call (was a telemarketer so should have known better!) I would never have booked had I'd known about all the restrictions, like having to book for a minimum of 2 weeks & giving them heaps of notice before even getting a quote! When I did attempt to get a quote to use my vouchers, I didn't hear back from anyone! It's a joke! Anyway, my vouchers have expired & they are refusing to refund my money. It's been a complete waste of money & time talking to rude people on the phone.
Don't Buy their Travel Vouchers its a SCAM!!!
I got a call from them a month or so ago and they did a big sale on me that I totally was sucked into and cost me $240 + dollars on some travel vouchers....at the time I thought they were going to send me some data on their Hotels with pricing, and I was assured that they had hotels at budget prices...don't believe them, firstly they don't send you the information on pricing for hotels and the only way you can get any idea is by going into their website and requesting a quote on each and every hotel!!! Looking at the actual hotel website the ra...tes are very high. They also don't have the number of hotels available that they seem to indicate, all very well hidden and definitely not user friendly. Since I wasn't planning to use the travel vouchers until I knew which hotels would work best for me this has become an expensive wasted exercise. I find out also that in their T&C's they only give you 10 days to get a refund! So warning to everyone who reads this post if you get a call from these people don't get sucked in, they don't give you the whole picture!!
Booking was a breeze.
Just completed our bookings to the sunshine coast. First big family holiday with the 2 little munchkins. Steve was very knowledgeable and able to handle our strict travel dates. Everything ready to go and didn't take any effort on our part. Looking forward to some sun and surf with the kids. Thanks Steve!
Questions & Answers
With the amount of people on here saying the same thing about your scam packages, how are they still being sold?
And to the few people on here that say they found it great (family members perhaps?) - 2 questions for you
1. Did you price your trip elsewhere to make sure you weren't being ripped off?
2. Would you like to purchase my package - happy to sell it to you for half price!
Hey Rachel, have you contacted the ombudsman?
Because most ppl don't report them. Those who do get their voucher money back if they haven't booked anything. Office of Fair Trading doesn't have 'enough complaints' to do anything about them.
I could not agree with you more this company is shameful to say the least .. They were stupid enough to still call us and try to sell the vouchers Ringing mobiles and Work phone ...We told them we would never use them and why they tell us what nasty people we are ? Funny if you don't want to buy there scam they reply in this way .. All that being said we are more than happy to sell our vouchers at half price to anyone that would like them ... Be our guest we reported them to fair trading ect ect with no luck there rely not interested You need to let everyone know maybe expose them on facebook just thought of that might be a good way to let people know .. Sorry to everyone that has had the awful experience with upngo just let as many people now as possible ...
How were you raised to make it okay to rip off trusting innocent people? You all will be hanging out with your mates in jail soon, bet your parents are proud! NOT...
It's a father and son company...
Up n go have just employed all the staff from Grtaway Escspes who did the same scam STAY AWAY
About 3 years ago I got a call on the house phone about cheap airline tickets. I was told "It is Getaway Travel here and we would like to offer you very low airfares in Aust with an accommodation deal you will love $50 return to the Gold Coast". So stupid me buys these tickets with credit card and then hears a few months later that the whole thing was a scam. Lost the money and lost faith in these offers of phone calls telling me of $50 airline tickets between Australian capitol cities. When I phoned this Up and Go Travel the $50 was $59 and airline taxes apply plus (from) $75 per head min for accommodation in a self contained unit. 3 to 5 star. The only benefit was the lady I spoke to (although a New Zealander) was excellent in her presentation of the Up and Go Travel Company. I think the answer is for me to call an airline to get the fares and look on the i-net for accommodation and hire car, then call Up and Go to get a comparison price so I can do a cross reference on over all cost.

Can you please give me a call on 0430696133. I have tried sending you a message on your website but it will not send. Thank you Marsha Kitson
Hi Marsha, I tried calling your mobile but went to voice mail. So reply here. Did you finish getting any satisfaction or refund from this mob. I was phoned by them and thought I would have a look on the site of comments about them. Wow, they do not come up as a good place to do a deal.
