BecexTech advertsies on Amazon a Nikon D780 Australian Model, but will send an imported model from Hong Kong. The seller advitises on Amazon the model number VBA560BA, which is an Australian Nikon model number, they advertsie that the manufactuer is Nikon Australia and they advertise a 12 month manufacturers warrenty. I returned the phone immediately the next morning as instructed. From there, the process became unnecessarily slow. Despite tracking showing delivery to their PO Box, there was a delay in collection and no meaningful action taken until follow-up contact was made. This added avoidable time to an already urgent situation, as the phone was needed immediately.

After they eventually processed the return, I was offered a replacement in the same refurbished “pristine” category. I did not accept due to lack of confidence in receiving a correctly graded device.

I requested a refund instead, which only progressed after further escalation and additional waiting time.

The core issue was the misrepresentation of the product condition, followed by delays in handling the return and resolving the matter, which left me without a phone for over a week despite the urgency of the purchase.

Communication was consistent, but the overall handling felt slow and unnecessarily drawn out before reaching a refund.

it makes zero difference . Just use their free freight and ignore their shipping info- it will take at least 9 days to Australia. I'll review the device if I ever get it- really needed it this week so pretty annoyed. Could have bought it through Amazon and sorry I didn't as I would have received it tomorrow. customer service was quick and easy, no dramas neither ✓ I would recommend them if you want to save some money, if you are not in rush to get the product keeping in mind is coming from overseas, my advice is just read very carefully the description of the product, if is second hand or brand new, what includes, just to make sure you choose the correct one and you will be happy with your purchase with no surprises.

automatic android software upgrade wouldn't accept any pins or codes from Motorola. Motorola support team themselves advised to return it to supplier for refund or replacement.. They claim software issues are not covered under warranty. Motorola state it's a flaw in the product and needs to be replaced. After months of varying emails asking for personal account details and pass words they now want to return the item unfixed. They need to be held accountable for being so dodgey and ripping good ppl off. Buyer beware they have no care or desire to do the right thing. Not only is this illegal in Australia and many other countries, but they also flat out lied to me and said this is "a competitive price on the market" meanwhile, every single retailer in Australia in selling this exact lens for 600-700 dollars. I only bought it from them to receive fast shipping. I'm genuinely floored by how bad this is, extremely scummy on their part. MASSIVE waste of my time. came with scratches and dents so deep its clear that this is whole thing is a scam. I sent an email to them but looking at other reviews here I don't like my chances of getting a good or even a half-decent outcome. I find it unlikely the phone will last a year if all these reviews are anything to go by.

Stay far away from these guys. I will not be buying from Kogan again after this blunder.

a grey import but a potentially illegally sourced black market product.

It receives no software updates from Samsung, and its Android software is long behind. It also does not work on 5G.

After a lot of runaround (see my first review), they asked me to send the phone to some guy in a dodgy mall phone repair kiosk. They included questionable warranty conditions like "Perform a complete factory reset" and "Please send the phone only. We will not be liable for any missing box" - what am I supposed to send it in, an envelope so they can claim it was damaged in transit when it arrives? I requested a refund months ago with a follow up, both completely ignored and we have been at a stalemate since.

This company is selling devices that are not for the public market with no warranty, no service, no software updates, and no care for their customers. The ACCC and Fair Trading will be involved from tomorrow.

No goodwill gesture, literally nothing was offered to make this right!

This wasted my time and left me without a phone I urgently need. They offered no discount or goodwill gesture, only a refund.

Under Australian Consumer Law a business doesn’t have to honour a genuine pricing error, but sending a shipping confirmation when nothing was sent feels deceptive and absolutely unprofessional. Especially or offer a discount.

I cancelled and will not buy from them again. Sharing this so others know what to expect. DO NOT BOTHER DEALING WITH SUCH SCAMMERS

getting 1 of many emails about this phone I had just bought apparently sitting in my inbox, but I had received an order confirmation. Tried to log on to account 1 Feb, said temporarily suspended. Sent email to seek clarification about order status, told no problems, just be patient. Same answer on subsequent enquiries until day 5 they say oops, out of stock, so as per their email where I can get a refund , I say PLEASE send me my money back. Still waiting for refund after they have taken my money and had it over a week for a product they did not even have in stock - so I have gone to Paypal to resolve issue. Here's the fun, they have till 12 Mar to reply and I have been without a phone for over a week, I would love the money back in my account before I commit to another purchase on credit card. If they were really concerned about their stuff up, they would apologise PROFUSELY and get my money back to me ASAP. I would NEVER recommend dealing with this company. Only reason I thought I would try them is because company I normally use (ie Rebeelo no bad experiences here for 3 purchases) had no stock of phone I wanted. My argument is if I try and purchase ag an oil filter from Supercheap or Repco, they will not even accept payment if there is no stock, but oh, will happily take your hundreds of dollars for an item we don't have and then take forever to give your money back, which I will believe when I have it back in my account. Will keep pushing and no wait for PayPal. Just put this up so I can warn others before they make same mistake I did. I have sent evidence to PayPal as I have written emails for all this drama

they had any other of the same phone, in any condition rating, but without screen damage. A few days later I received a reply asking for photos of damaged screen. Although not getting a reply to my question I sent back pictures and asked again. A few days later I received an email explaining the conditiin rating was correct and any damage to the screen did not hinder it's functionality, and no answer to my question. I replied saying their customer service sucked and why couldn't someone just answer my question and asked for a refund. I got a reply saying my request has been passed on to another team for approval. That was a week ago, and although their site has a pic of a telephone and a woman with a headset on on the contact page they only provide an email and PO Box address. I just wanted a mobile without screen damage...........

 Follow-up  · Return process was such a hassle. I opened a resolution case with Paypal, after a lil' more than a week I was provided with an address for return, both from Paypal and Becextec, each address was different. Not wanting anymore stress, I gave the phone to someone in need and felt much better.

The Goods were as expected. But Shipping was a nightmate. Paid for Express Shipping which was too take 7 Days for it too take more like 14 days. Then when i wasnt home for Delivery it was taken too a Hub too be picked up. When i went to pick it up it wasnt there, told must have gone back too the Depot. estimates. However, for over a week after purchasing, all I received was the same repeated excuse: “we are getting an update from the warehouse.”

It should not take days just to confirm whether an item has even been dispatched. It became obvious that this store does not genuinely stock the products themselves and is simply acting as a middleman with very little control over the order and shipment process.

The communication was poor, the transparency was worse. In the email communication, the seller could not even get the phone size or color right, the whole experience completely destroyed my confidence in both the seller and the product itself. After an entire week of waiting, the seller still did not even know where the phone was — despite me paying extra for express shipping.

I ended up requesting a full refund because I simply did not trust that I would receive what was advertised, or receive it within a reasonable timeframe.

Would not recommend.

a refund garentee or replacement unless I sent the device back first. Meaning I could be without a phone for months needing to buy a new one in the meantime, but they can also refuse refund or repair during that time leaving me with a $1400 device that I cannot sell or use. So not only would I be out having to buy a new one but they could deny me refund having me be out of pocket. I use to recommend this seller but please do not buy from them.

Terrible customer service, sent me a faulty phone that wouldn't charge straight out the box, paid for its return express to get the situation sorted asap and 2 and half weeks later they end up telling me they a stock problem. After this terrible experience I won't be recommending this company to anyone. They were slow in responding and under the circumstances it should have been sorted swiftly. If I could 0 out of 5 I would.

blamed me for the address i supplied - their system accepted it. They had 5 business days to contact me by email or phone and did nothing until i contacted them. Was told it's my fault. Was also told it would be sent. Aus Post tracking showed that 5 business days later they received the package on Thursday 16th April. Received package on Wednesday 22nd April. To make matters worse extra items that were purchased were not supplied. Requested refund for extra items not supplied and in all this mess at least they replied that they would refund these items. So 14 business days afetr paying for express post i received the package. I was blamed for address issue and Aus Post blamed by them for delays. They blame anyone sles and take no responsibility. NEVER AGAIN will i purchase from these people. Make up your own mind but be careful. I have all the mails etc to prove all this.

Worse still, are now advising they are applying a 10% "restocking fee" to my "Peace of Mind" return. No such fees are advertised on their website policy page.

Reported to ACCC. Total scam operation.

They told me it was 'not ready' (???) when the order shipped, and told me this only after I called them out on it. I was refunded the money for the screen protector. Overall, dealing with these guys was a pretty unpleasant experience, and I won't buy from them again.

months of hassle - nothing ever arrives. Only one guy handles all their complaints, and he will never put you through to anyone higher in the chain. If you want your item to arrive as expected, or any communication, go to other online businesses. You get what you pay for (their 'bargains' are not worth it).
