The staff were brilliant - they left me alone to look around, and were then available to answer my questions. They showed me some alternatives to help me ensure I'd made the right choice. Brillant service from Elton at the Mornington store. He explained everything in detail about the bed & base I was interested in without being pushy to get the sale. came to the understanding that it wasn't the right choice for us. Bea was very knowledgeable and asked a lot of questions to make sure we get the right fit for our needs. She showed us a lot of mattresses, explaining about the particular features of the mattress and how it could benefit us, but wasn't pushy at all. We ended up buying a mattress that I cannot wait to sleep on as it just felt so good! I realised, after buying our previous mattress (that we don't like at all) from a large furniture store, that we should have come to BedShed Capalba the first place, where we could have expert advice. We ended up buying a mattress for our son as well. We were happy to get great value with the EOFY sales plus a further 10% off. Bea was so patient, and she showed genuine care. She is a great asset to this store/company. I cannot recommend BedShed Capalaba highly enough. We will definitely return if we have any needs for a mattress or bedroom furniture in the future.

knowledgeable and able to articulate the pros and cons of the various options available. He was relaxed & down to earth and he carefully listened to what I wanted and was not pushy or trying too hard to sell anything. I had planned to visit another store near by and said I would see what they had available before making a decision. What a completely different experience it was at F/Winks. I found the sales women was not interested in what I wanted in mattress type and was trying to upsell me to something I didn't want. I walked out of F/Winks and went straight back to Bedshed and brought a Sealy mattress. Elton at Bedshed was terrific to deal with. I noticed the other sales staff as they were with other customers and they too were friendly & knowledgeable. The store is well laid out, has a lot of mattress choices available. We chose to pick up the mattress rather then have it delivered and were able to do that with easy access and no hassle. It was a pleasure being in store at Bedshed Mornington and I cannot fault their excellent customer service and highly recommend them. Our Sealy mattress is fabulous and we are very happy with the purchase.

The buying experience was good. The logistics / delivery was a total mess. Minimal communication from the store. We bought two mattresses and arranged to have them delivered to an apartment that were are staging for Airbnb. We were told it would be two weeks, which went by with no communication. weeks after the order) then that was cancelled and we were given a new date. Then on the morning of that date we were informed only one the mattresses would be delivered, and the other one two days later. They could not commit to a time for the second delivery. We are working people and do not live at the apartment, so my wife had to commit to not working and spending an entire day waiting for this delivery. In the meantime we could not open the apartment for let, costing us thousands of dollars in lost revenue.

The person in the store when we were following up was unhelpful and unapologetic. Said it was out of her hands.

being made to feel like we’d misunderstood what was originally promised by staff. If we’d been told the true lead time from the beginning, we could have made an informed decision and purchased elsewhere.

Poor communication and no urgency or care to resolve the issue. I wouldn’t recommend buying from here if you need your mattress anywhere near the timeframe you’re quoted.

I purchased a bed head which was on special and composition is, hardwood with Warwick fabric. Simple bed head, made extremely well in QLD. Australia. The staff were warm, friendly and definitely not pushy. The products we wanted were on EOFY sale which also made our decision to buy easy. I've been laying on my new mattress after it was delivered first thing today and I'm very satisfied with the supportive structure. People please note- that while in the store there will be sweet talk, care, promises given, however when the problem arises there won't be any care or assistance offered. Shameful!
