Brillant service from Elton at the Mornington store. He explained everything in detail about the bed & base I was interested in without being pushy to get the sale. Store had a great range of products available and the extremely helpful staff answered all of my queries which made it easy to find exactly what I wanted. Bedshed store in Caringbah, persistently refuses to issue us with a refund ever since 13 January 2026. blatant refusal by Bedshed, Caringbah, to act in fair business practices and in accordance to the relevant Australian customers' protection laws must be brought up to the public attention. We are seeking a refund and for the last six weeks and the business is acting in a unfair and bullying manner. We are continuing to seek a justice and want to warn other people about this business.

The buying experience was good. The logistics / delivery was a total mess. Minimal communication from the store. We bought two mattresses and arranged to have them delivered to an apartment that were are staging for Airbnb. We were told it would be two weeks, which went by with no communication. When we chased it up we were given a date (3.5… Read more

weeks after the order) then that was cancelled and we were given a new date. Then on the morning of that date we were informed only one the mattresses would be delivered, and the other one two days later. They could not commit to a time for the second delivery. We are working people and do not live at the apartment, so my wife had to commit to not working and spending an entire day waiting for this delivery. In the meantime we could not open the apartment for let, costing us thousands of dollars in lost revenue.

The person in the store when we were following up was unhelpful and unapologetic. Said it was out of her hands.

Will not buy from them again,

We purchased a $5000 mattress with high expectations, but the experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The mattress arrived with visible dirt marks and even tomato ketchup stains—completely unacceptable for a premium product. Instead of resolving the matter, we were advised to use the mattress with the protector we purchased—essentially asking us to sleep on a stained product. To make matters worse, the mattress is excessively high and retains heat, making it extremely uncomfortable at night.

Now, the store is trying to charge us for a replacement, even though their own 60-night replacement policy should cover this situation. We feel misled and let down by the lack of accountability and customer care.

A $5000 mattress should come with quality assurance and responsive service—not excuses and extra charges. We hope this review helps others make a more informed decision.

Bought another double bed from Bedshed in Mornington. Wanted one with the draw and gaslight storage and found a perfect match. Staff at the store were very helpful. Bed was delivered by a lovely team that also gave me a few tips for assembly as I wanted to give as I it a go myself. but it all came together perfectly. High quality and all parts were there. Opted for an Australian made mattress which is very comfy and all packaging was recycling. Only bit of plastic was the wrapper the power supply came in. USB charger in bedhead shelf a decent wattage as the iPad and phone recognised it.

knowledgeable and able to articulate the pros and cons of the various options available. He was relaxed & down to earth and he carefully listened to what I wanted and was not pushy or trying too hard to sell anything. I had planned to visit another store near by and said I would see what they had available before making a decision. What a completely different experience it was at F/Winks. I found the sales women was not interested in what I wanted in mattress type and was trying to upsell me to something I didn't want. I walked out of F/Winks and went straight back to Bedshed and brought a Sealy mattress. Elton at Bedshed was terrific to deal with. I noticed the other sales staff as they were with other customers and they too were friendly & knowledgeable. The store is well laid out, has a lot of mattress choices available. We chose to pick up the mattress rather then have it delivered and were able to do that with easy access and no hassle. It was a pleasure being in store at Bedshed Mornington and I cannot fault their excellent customer service and highly recommend them. Our Sealy mattress is fabulous and we are very happy with the purchase.

Found Bedshed staff to be fantastic but also very honest and genuine with their recommendations compared to the opposition next door that were outrageously expensive and market driven.
