what are the items I am looking at buying. He rang half an hour but I was in a meeting at work. I rang back twice and left 2 messages but no returned phone call. Today Tuesday at 4:00pm still no call back. I called back the store manager and he advised me that he can't take deposit from me as they do not have stock. More will come in in early June. Currently the sale is still ON same as Sunday but the manager said I have to pay the full price. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE??? It's just poor customer service.

It was easy to see that they were in stock at my local store and they were ready to pick up in less than an hour. Staff in store and at the dock were super helpful even offered to help load them into our Ute for us. Absolutely disgusted by [Name Removed] and Fantastic furniture. I was about to order 2 beds from them which including delivery to my suburb totaled $736. I refreshed my cart about to pay for them right now and the delivery fee has gone up and now they are trying to charge me a total of $850 including delivery. delivery up just like that, it is so unethical and morally unfair. They shouldn't be able to get away with this. The customer service representative [Name Removed] was appalling, trying to cut my chat off without giving me a chance to respond, twice. He aught to be spoken to by management. Trying to charge this consumer $850 now, then when my friend put the exact two beds with delivery to the exact same suburb, it suddenly now says $775 total. This recording is PROOF that Fantastic Furniture PRICES CHANGE however and whenever they CHOOSE to rip you off. This price fluctuation in a matter of 5 minutes is a clear example they charge you however much they want & supports my word, that THEY WERE, $736 total. Just shocking.
UPDATE: They have done nothing but waste my hopes and time. They should not be allowed to get away with this ripping off and false advertising misleading potential customers. I have gone and just purchased two beds off Temple & Webster right now, since Fantastic Furniture have ruined their reputation as far as I, my family and friends are concerned. They offered NO resolution or discount or accountability to their scamming. I will NEVER buy from or recommend this online company to anyone.

Fantastic Furniture couldn't deliver, wouldn't even clarify why, and days later still hadn't even begun processing a refund. They didn't do so till I left a bad review mentioning they haven't refunded me. This was with fantastic furniture directly. Not a marketplace/third party listing. They then said they failed delivery because there was no parking and no one was at the location. Still unsure which one because if they couldn't park they didn't even check if someone was there. Which someone would have been between 9AM to 5PM.
There was parking. Trucks and vans have parked nearby all day and they're the only courier who's struggled with that.
I asked them what's going to happen and they said they'd email me before the end of the day but then didn't.
Contacted them again.
Ignored my questions, wouldn't offer any sort of compensation, basic acknowledgement they could have done better. Like talking to a brick wall.
Refused to let me speak with a manager or supervisor. Was lazily responding not even botheringtoc type out whole words (e.g. shortening "you" to "u") which is pretty unprofessional in a customer service role.
They said the "compensation" for the inconvenience was not charging me to attempt delivery. Not very generous they didn't charge me for the service I already paid for and they didn't provide.
Asked them to cancel my order, the one they can't deliver, which they didn't.
Order number via the SMS doesn't match my order number in my email. Item didn't say marketplace anywhere but my bank transaction does.
Bank transaction says it was a return but I never got the item. Claimed the store delivered not a third party courier but couldn't simply deliver between reasonable hours.
Overall really shady and frustrating to deal with.

Getting the Sofa Bed was not an issue. Staff were great, and it was delivered in three days - perfect. The issue came later. When boxed up, the sofa bed was not able to fit into the room where I wanted it to go. I asked the delivery people to leave it in the kitchen and I unboxed it. by myself. Finally got it into the room, attached the four feet, put into position and bugger me - it would not open into a bed. Upon inspection (I can problem solve well), I noticed that one stopper was under a bracket instead of being on top of the bracket like the opposite side. It took a very long time on the phone and the web page chat bot just to get to speak to someone at the store. I told them the issue and that I could fix by doing "X", but that may void the warranty. The store person was great - he told me to do it and if anything went wrong, it was still covered and he noted it down. Three minutes later it was working well. The MAINE Sofa Bed is great, just be aware that it is VERY heavy to move around and may not fit down your passage/through doors when boxed.
