promotional information, and it has left me questioning the value of my purchase.

In addition to the price issue, the assembly of the bed has been a nightmare. Despite spending eight hours diligently following the instructions, I found that several pieces were incorrectly numbered, making the entire process much more frustrating than it should have been. Furthermore, I was not offered the option of installation service at the time of purchase. Had I been aware that this was available, I certainly would have opted for it to avoid the hassle of assembly.

New mattress and bedroom furniture – Finding and selecting a new bed is a really challenging task. Great customer service – The suburb of Dandenong has numerous places that sell beds and are all next door to each other. had one (often on the phone or juggling between customers). I received my bed in the same week from Bedshed! Many places said 2-6 weeks waiting times. Adrian explained the features of the bed types but also helped me to work within my budget. The after service of the third party named Velocity Logistics delivered and assembled and removed rubbish which was also conducted well from start to finish. From memory $205 assembly, $75 delivery and $40 for taking away the trash. There was a lot of trash from the bedding, so $40 was worth it to save cutting it up and disposing of it by oneself. I love the design of the bed called WELLARD. Not many bedheads have LCD lighting and a spot to pop in cables for mobile phones. Plus the storage underneath is such a bonus... plus the two drawers at the end of the bed. Living in a smaller apartment space, this bed ticked a few boxes. Coupled with the fast turnaround for stock... yes, I'd visit this store again if needed and I'd recommend it. Thanks Adrian at Dandenong for helping me last week.

In attempt to resolve the issue, I advocated to the Regional Manager and head office, however to no avail, because they said it was up to the store manager/franchisee . I am extremely dissatisfied with Bedshed as a whole, and will NOT shop here again.

selected another 4 piece set . Then we decided to buy one more bed for other room and decided to cancel the fist one we selected 2 months before. Then, we asked them politely ( salesman Novel) can we cancel that onsuit and buy these two on finance instead of that one.Then, he got upset and insulted us so much and said bad words for my country as well , which is untolerable. There was no point to leave racist comment like this and he canceled the deal and said,” i will not sell u any product and u will not get ur money back ($500). U go where ever u want, this can b happen in ur country not here , u lied to us. These r his words . We requested him for all the things not forced him. Rude manager/ abusive – I ordered a bedroom suite for 3 thousand dollars, Was told it would take 2 weeks. rubbish on top of the $66 delivery.I said that was called NON - Disclosure and was illegal and I should not be made to pay more money as I was not made aware of it at the time of purchase.. When I refused and wrote to head office the manager from Dandenong David Connel called me and said You're just a lunatic come into the store and I will give you your money back" he also told me that if I went to social media he would destroy my business as he knew my business name.( when I refused to pay for the delivery I asked for my money back as I should have been informed about the extra costs at the time of purchase not after I paid in full) I said there was NO WAY I was going to his store again after the way he spoke to me and threatened to destroy my business; and as he took my money over the phone then it should be refunded in to my card or a cheque sent. He refused and said the only way I could get a refund was to come into the store.

In small print on the contract, it says there could be extra costs at the time of delivery and also that if you cancel they can keep the 50% deposit. None of this is legal as I was not made aware of this.and I told him so. I said I would contact my bank and he said "Good luck with that"So I did and the bank was horrified.It is illegal for them to take full payment for goods that I have not received,..So it is FRAUD. It took 3 months but the bank got my money back with no more stress or name calling.

I then went to Forty winks and got a nicer suite.. Same money.. Lovely staff...full disclosure of costs and delivery within the time frame promised. SO. Don't go there the stress caused me affected me emotionally and I had no bed or money for 3 months.

Home respect – My husband and I made purchase in store with great customer service, could not be happier. On delivery on our bed, as we were placing it together the leg of the bed had come broken, although we were able to put what we could together knowing the leg was not secure. someone to look at. I wrote an email, 2 weeks had gone by, did not hear anything. I called to follow this up, a guy named David was kind enough to organise someone out to undo the bed and replace the leg.

A man came, who I was certainly not happy with. No respect for my home, by chucking wooden bits of the bed on my floor boards leaving scratches and marks, scratching and damaging newly painted walls and frames. by chucking clothes on the floor from the draws and stepping on them with no care in the world. By also dripping sweat like I have never seen before all over my carpet and draws of the bed, wiping with his hands and touching the bed. Now leaving me to clean EVERYTHING. Washing all the clothes that were stepped on and cleaning the fabric of the bed that are wet from now needing to have a carpet cleaner come clean the carpet, and to clean marks off the walls and frame. Disgusting to have someone in your home causing all of this, I am disgusted with the lack of respect received. Would not recommend to have someone out into homes.

Avoid bedshed dandenong like plague!!! – We bought a $2000 bed from bedshed dandenong only to have it crumble down to pieces less than a year later. The dandenong store manager David Connell is the worst retail person I have even dealt with. He is rude and not even true to his word. Innocent staff members And Terrible Owners – Bought 2 bedroom suites and paid the top $$$$ , in Dandenong in Vic. When delivered one bed was shaky, bolts are not fitting, The guy who came to fix the bed said " The bed was displayed item, did not have stocks. " when questioned the owner she denied and refuse to give a brand new bed. To date the bed is shaky. I will never ever advise anyone to buy anything from Dandenong show room.  Show details

7yrs later still good – I bought a bedroom set and a mattress 7years ago for $4500 and am impressed that its still in good shape and function. I have two little kids and everyone slept on the bed and jumped a lot. Still in good shape! I now have a different taste and want a new bed for my new house. Worst customer service and poor quality – Bedshed dandenong is horrible. It took 6 months to get my bedroom suite. The bed head lasted 2 days and it broke which was replaced but no proper compensation for the wait. Customer service is horrible.  Show details

Rubbish Management!! – I bought a bedroom suit from there (Dandenong Store), the quality is good but when they delieverd the bedroom, the dresser wood was cracked. the rear. I talked to the so called 'Boss' and told him how disppointed i was and how much of my time has been wasted to leave work and recieve the delievery. He told me that it was just a small crack and its at the rear so no one will see it. Such a rubbish excuse! If i want something with a crack in it, i would buy something second hand!! I refused the dresser and he said he will send a new one next week. I told him that this is unacceptable and that they lost a customer and he seemed to be ok with that. So if you want to go to a place with rubbish management and rubbish customer relations, bed shed is the place to be.

This was experienced at two locations, one in Nunawading Victoria and the other in Dandenong Victoria. Both stores are quite extensive in terms of the range and size of the shops are formidable.

My partner and I were running out of space in the residential premises, and therefore needed a bed that had some storage capabilities. We first went to Bedshed in Nunawading and thought at the same, the price of the storage bed and mattress was going to be the best price available; it was certainly cheaper than any other place around at the time. I asked the sales person whether the stores were going to be of the same price. The response was given that it was. We placed a deposit and later discovered from another store location in Dandenong, that the price of exactly the same thing that we were looking at was 50 percent cheaper. When we saw the price, we went straight away to the Dandenong store, placed a deposit. We rang the Nunawading store and asked for a refund of our deposit which took 2 weeks to get back. Within a week or so of purchase, we obtained delivery of the storage bed which I had to put together and then subsequently the mattress itself.

In conclusion, do not take face value; do your research first before venturing out to buy anything from either of these stores.
