BWS weighed and found wanting
I live in the Southwest of Sydney and have used BWS app now to order home delivery. BWS have processed everything right however the service falls over on delivery, the group rely on Sherpa for delivery and on three occasions this has failed ,because payment is made thru PayPal refunds can take up to a week ,this group really needs to get its services working if they are going to be successful. Whilst do address the issue the next week with a generous spirit, the whole model needs revamping to be successful even possible rebranding

Worst customer service on any business in Australia
Went shopping at Woolworths just popped in to have a quick look at the prices. Looked at the spirit case at what was on offer and was talking out loud at how high the prices were. Then the worker approached me and asked for my sons I’d and I asked why!!! he said because he was in the store beside me. I was told it was a law that I have never heard of before and said you don’t talk to my son as I am the purchaser. He continued to ramble some garbage I said I have never experienced anything like this ever and will never shop in BWS ever again. So Dan Murphy’s will always get my business as my family and I have always been treated well.
My recommendation is don’t shop at a business that doesn’t value its customers and family members.
Delivery never ordered and complaint never addressed
I ordered a big order and my order was never delivered. I messaged them twice with the complaint and I heard nothing back. Still no refund or reply.
Items paid for and not delivered.
Ordered two bottles of alcohol for delivery at 12 midday. No delivery made snd I was told there was nobody to deliver it. Easily the worst service I have ever received.

Booked delivery with "ASAP" and a 25 min window - yet confirmation email said it would arrive tomorrow!
After seeing the ads on tv about 1hour delivery windows, I thought I would try. My 1st attempt froze at the payment screen. Next I tried on my desktop, I ordered and paid, selecting the asap option, which indicated a 25 min delivery window. When I received the confirmation email, it said that I would receive my delivery, not ASAP, not in 25 min, not in an hour, but the next day in 16 hours. I phoned and was on hold for 20 min before I could speak to someone. He was helpful and polite, but indicated that the system could not yet identify de...livery windows. In the end he helpfully organised a delivery window that will be 2 hours from order. This outcome is fine - except frankly it would have been faster to walk to the store, pack the selection myself and then walk home. 0 for convenience, terrible customer experience. I have no idea how you can accept an order under one set of terms and then confirm with a different set! I would only use again if I had the time and energy to order online and then spend 30 min on phone confirming
Missing items and takes so long to get a refund
The last two orders I have had, I have had missing items. There is no way to request a refund without waiting for customer service to reply regarding a refund in days and then they say it has been days and what proof do we have??
Same as other reviews - missing deliveries. I have been charged twice on many occasions and have to argue for a refund.
Interesting that the Woolworths delivery experience is the same (if not worse). Maybe same delivery system/model?
They obviously don’t have a great customer experience and Marketing team or anyone monitoring reviews.
Sad for Australian companies that you want to do well. Appears they have done too well in the last couple of years to actually care about their future based on delivery models.
Horrible huge delay!!!!
Ordered a few times. BWS is late every times. Saw the recent advisement about within one hour delivery so decided to give them one more chance. Ordered at 2pm. It’s 7:10pm now. Where is my delivery? Calling customer hotline, waited for 20 minutes. Still waiting... no next time.

Bought a six Pack - was flat.Bought another six pack giving it the benefit of the doubt, and this was flat as well. Contacted the distributers Pernod Rickard,and gave them the information on the cans they requested - haven't heard from them since : very arrogant on their part after trying to do the right thing by them letting them know. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Terrible customer service
My purchase was refused due to an incredibly judgemental and uneducated staff member on a power trip, no return patronage from myself or my family
I've ordered from BWS online several times now and am very impressed, my order is usually delivered very quickly and by lovely people, I couldn't recommend them highly enough
The company they use for delivery can't understand an address.
Lie about knocking on the door and sitting out the front of the address.

Only a fraction of my order actually arrived
Very poor experience. I ordered three items for delivery. When the driver arrived, he handed over one and said I should contact BWS about the other two. BWS told me stock wasn't available in the store they'd allocated themselves, and a refund had already been processed. No apologies, no attempt to resolve it. Just a 'sucks for you' attitude that will now cost them business.
The app is terrible and doesn't save any setting. For example your last order details. Always have to reset local store and delivery address constantly defers to pickup. Ring the local store after making an online order hours ago and they know nothing about it and tell me to ring 1300 138 297, as they cant help. On the phone waiting for over 40 minutes and then rang again, as I was told that that my order had been changed to home delivery and the courier would be "free". Rang the other number on their website and was told that they would hang up on me, when I asked to just get a credit for my purchase online of over $100. Very rude. No credit. No delivery
Don’t go there
They are the most expensive in town , and said the only way to get better price is with a Woolworth card
