These guys started of good 7 plus years ago when I first went with them, not one issue. The past year all I get is outages, at least once a month. tech team, cos I didn't think of that before calling. Had a NBN crew booked in for this afternoon now they have cancelled. So now my business is unable to take bookings or forfill ordors for 2 days in a row, and that is even if the problem is fixed. Not to mention the NBN ones through the same box for the whole complex and every other business has NBN still, so I can almost guarantee the NBN guy will come out and say, no your NBN is working fine it's a provider issue. These guys have become a absolute joke the past year. Not happy at all. Now my business that has been open just over a week can't take on work untill it is sorted out at the most crucial time I need the internet working. Thanks a lot guys, if I wanted this kind of support I would have gone with Telstra, the only reason I went with belong is because you guys use to be helpful, I am sorry to be rude, but i cannot understand one of the 7 people I have spoken to in the past 2 days........ to do the same set of troubleshooting steps and configurations on the modem over and over again in every call (which didn't help), and being forced to buy a brand new modem for $150 (which didn't help), they STILL refused to send a technician.
After the 15th call today they simply said they couldn't send a technician and blamed the FTTB connection and told me to talk to my building/strata management. Even if that is true, why did you have to wait until after all of these calls, and 6 months, to let me know?
This has been the most infuriating process I've ever had to deal with. Do NOT be a customer with these scammers.

terrible. If we are not online by tomorrow, we are looking elsewhere. Since this time, we went with another provider Swoop, the initial request for internet connection was logged on Tuesday, the modem was dispatched the same day, it arrived on Friday and we were online within 5 minutes of the modem arriving, all up it took 3 and a half days to get online, it can be done!
Follow-up · Was support helpful? Not really, they seem to follow a set script with no deviation I feel. No they didn't provide updates unless I spent a long time in the queue chasing them up! The delay was caused by their processes which seem to be let's not rush into doing anything smoothly.

It can be fairly slow but used to at least be an ok price for the size of the download. Even though it somehow goes through it all twice as fast as my previous ISP and nothing has changed. did have a small question early on, customer support was easy to deal with and resolved it quickly. I had an issue where my NBN service failed. I called customer service and it was initially diagnosed that the modem was faulty as it was very old. I was sent a new modem within 2 days. Since the 27th of May 2026, I've made multiple calls to Belong regarding the constant drop out of my internet connection. 1st call (27th May 2026): Was told that the area was undergoing known maintenance and the problem should be fixed soon and 'no need to call back' as the problem is being addressed. 2nd call (28th May 2026): Was told that… Read more
the modem was the problem as it is outdated and I would have to purchase a new one. Was told to confirm before buying so that compatibility was confirmed.
3rd call (28th May 2026): Called to confirm modem compatibility, was told that it would work and to call during set up at home.
4th call (28th May 2026) last call made: Called to set up. Was told then that the modem wasn't compatible. Then after 40 mins of conversation, the modem did work but the problem was not fixed. Additional: I took the original 'Belong' modem to my friend's home to test it, and experienced no dropouts. Which means, now I have spent money for a modem that wasn't originally required. Towards the end of the call, when the representative saw the dropouts were still happening...they said they would escalate this but I would have to wait 2-5 business days before a complaint representative would get back to me. Till then, I am expected to just keep having this issue and constantly drop off my calls till someone can assist?
That router has since proven worse as of this e-mail, as it doesn't even pick up after a dropout of the internet. I have since has to replace it with the old one as it would at least give me 5 mins of internet at a time before dropping out.
I was told by the last representative that I will be called back in regards to this soon. I'm hoping someone reads this before calling back because depending on the response I receive, I might have to reach out to a telecommunication ombudsman as I feel this case has led me to make purchases for things that weren't even faulty.
1st Update 29/5: I had to call back as the issue was still ongoing. Got told we're performing diagnostics, we'll call you back in 4 hrs to check in. Still facing drop outs
2nd UPDATE: On the 3rd of June 2026 (after I disconnected from Belong) due to stalling and no technician being sent to check my network...a follow up call was made and they processed a refund for the router they made me buy. Additional: They have been quite a good service for me, until help in any way is required. I used Belong for 4 years with only 2 internet issues arising over that entire time. I would think that because they are an Indian outsourced company, they don't have local technicians (I could be wrong). With this being said, it would be easier to say (for Belong) that we don't have technicians locally that can help you instead of stalling the process till dissatisfaction grows. They are a good company but God forbid you need actual assistance lol

When I indicated they referred me to their website which very clearly says 1-2 people, no mention of devices. Deceitful advertising. Mobile phone, google home and google clock use minimal data so it’s obvious that what they are offering is absolute rubbish.

Ordered an upgraded plan for an Airbnb property we are staying in, and they were quick to sort that out and start charging more. However, they did not ask a simple question about the modem to ensure it could handle the jump to the Premium service. Plan rolls out, and the modem can't handle it and goes haywire. trying to revert to the original plan, as it is too troublesome, and the advice is that they will not repair the issue they have created until the next billing period. I look forward to taking this case to the Telecommunications Ombudsman for further consideration. Yet another disappointing experience with tech support, service and issue resolution from Belong.

The technician came out to connect NBN taking most of the day and I had to jump up on the roof to assit with running the cable. Then find out he has cut our neighbours cable (duplex). Then the internet wouldn’t work and after a frustrating call with the Indian customer service lady she said we need another router. After the technician that installed the nbn said we had the correct router. Time to try a new provider

Belong is, without exaggeration, the worst internet company I have ever used. The connection drops multiple times every single day, comes back for a few minutes, and then drops again. This is not a one-off issue or an occasional outage — it is a constant problem that makes the service completely unreliable. I work from home and it is impossible… Read more
to work with internet of this poor quality. Video calls disconnect, meetings fail, files don’t upload, and online platforms crash at the worst possible moments. The level of frustration caused by depending on this connection is unacceptable in today’s world.
What makes this even worse is that no one takes responsibility for the money and time lost due to these constant outages. The hours of work ruined, the professional opportunities affected, and the stress caused by this service are simply ignored. Customer support offers generic responses and no real solutions.
I live in North Bondi, and the experience has been terrible from day one. If you are considering Belong and live in Bondi Beach or nearby areas, do yourself a favor and do not sign up. This service is not fit for purpose.
I strongly advise anyone who needs stable internet — especially for work — to avoid Belong at all costs. I would never recommend this provider to anyone and cannot wait to switch to a company that actually delivers a reliable connection.

They don't knwo anything, they can't help with their own hardware, they keep have to authenticate everytime they transfer you, and they transfer you for everything because noone knows anything. apartment on Sundays to set it up for our guests. There is no mailbox at the apartment, nor anywhere to leave the replacement modem, but Belong refuse to deliver it to our home address. This leaves us with no internet for our guest, which that means no remote access, no internet, and no subscription TV that we provide to our guests. I have been a long customer for a number of years and in the last 12 months the Internet has gone to rubbish. The Internet constantly stops working. I cannot get on a meeting online otherwise you end up booted out of that meeting because of the Internet problems so I basically pay $88 a month for minimal service and maximum headache

Over Five years with belong, starting price $59.95, ending price $88. Cancelled the service because I am getting a better deal. Cancellation date was the end of the month which I have paid for in full. Service turned off 11am, still 13hrs of the day left.
