Can I give this a negative star? – We used Belong ADSL 2+ at our apartment. According to them, our apartment is located very near the exchange so we should have the best connection for an ADSL 2+. tocuh with the tech team, which is a fruitless excercise as it does not resolve the problem at all. In fact, the lady also said how she has a similar problem at her house and that all we need to do is to not use the internet in "peak hours" i.e. when a lot of other people are using it too.

carer for my partner who is very ill and requires me to stay at home and having to take her in and out of hospital as well.

We are literally suffering because of this and belong doesn’t even care about their customers not even enough to refund half the costs towards internet bill for their unusable internet and horrible customer service or at times no customer service!!

actually cant complain – Never really had an issue with connectivity or service from them. When I needed to cancel I was pretty concerned it had all moved online enquires. Frankly its a terrible idea but in my instance it was fine. Needed to cancel, which it did but one last payment came out. Sent another enquiry and they refunded it. Easy Show details ·  1

I’ve had no issues with Belong! – I’ve personally had no issues at all and Belong has worked great for a year now in our household. We have it hooked up to at least 5 devices in the house, all running at once and have no issues yet! :) I know there are bad receivers but we haven’t had any issues yet Show details ·  1

Terrible Service – The connection strength is always problematic for any provider, but the way Belong go about fixing issues is terrible. Our internet would get disconnected every 4 months. We would log a complaint, someone would call within 24 hours. You have to go through all you details (very annoying) then they say someone will call in 2-7 days. Sometimes they… Read more

do call sometimes they don't and you often have to log another complaint and start at level 1 again. When they do call the second time, you have to go though all your details again. They then get you to try all the things you have previously tried eg turn off and on again. Eventually they fix it from their side. It's always an issue from their side but they make you jump through hoops for a week or two before they fix it. I would only recommend Belong to someone I hated.

DON’T BE MISGUIDED – It is by far the worst telco in Australia. I thought dodo was but absolutely belong takes the cake and icing too. Since connecting 12 months ago I’ve had no signal downstairs. Emailed over 40 times - no response. No phone number!!!!! Finally got a call to go into a further contract. Was told a tech would call back and a refund requested. 2 weeks now with nothing. Thanks for nothing. Terrible service. No internet. You still took our money – We've been loyal belong customers for 5+ years, until tomorrow when with only 2 days notice, you're going to disconnect our internet connection unless we sign up to NBN. change to NBN when your own email states it 'takes time' and 2) already charge the customer for the month. Apparently and incredibly your email wasn't spam and in fact despite NBN not being available to us you're going to disconnect us anyway. Surely, as a division of Telstra you have the capability to maintain our ADSL service until such time that NBN is available. Your customer service representative acknowledged they'd be pretty annoyed with the situation but couldn't offer an alternative. [Inappropriate Content Removed] and maybe take the time to connect with the realities of finding a new non nbn isp in 48 hours.

now relying on my work hotspot due to this terrible zero value for money company. Will try and move but know they will sting me for the entire contract and installation of their box.

By the way nothing against the team in India, they are employed to do a job, but I do feel sorry for them. Poor connection, with speaker reverb and a strong Indian accent made it a very long and frustrating call. After getting me to pull apart my furniture to get to my NBN Box, then reset my modem (in another part of the house), she told me they had just be advised of an outtage for at least a week.

No offer of a refund, was told that they don't tell customers and struggled to get a agreement I could speak to a supervisor about moving my service cost free.........guess what, still waiting for a call. Avoid these con artists.

Lower than zero ratings in all. Not cheap, not customer focused / transparent / no customer service.

A Joke – Constant drop outs, unable to contact them. I email them a support ticket which illustrated my issues, I requested to be contacted initially between 1200-1500 AWST time they end up ringing me at 1830 somehow and I missed the call. They cancelled my ticket. Then same issues continue, I make another submission via email and request to be contacted… Read more

1000-1200 due to shift work. I am then contacted at 7 in the morning. I answer as I just woke. I asked what time did I ask to call have you read e email the apparent technician says yes between 1000-1200 so I requested to get a call in back he said he couldn’t understand me and then hung up. Never received a call back and I also submitted a complaint on their webpage and no reply since. It’s been 3 days. Utterly useless.

My service was cut off and then charged for November and December even though I couldn’t use the internet . NOT ! Situation is made even worse by getting passed onto someone in a Phillipines call centre to talk to some who is absolutely useless. I finally cancelled my subscription and the person couldn’t care less . I demanded a refund ... that was on Jan 2nd , and I’m still waiting for the refund , a month later still nothing sent another complaint and BIG surprise another automated message . I am so angry at this revolting company and service ....I will never ever use belong again ! Looks like thousands of other people feel the same way . Belong you don’t deserve to be in business and anyone would be crazy to sign up to Belong

Cannot even express with words how bad our experience has been – - 17 months of terribly slow internet; speeds averaging 1MBPS - Customer service is impossible to get a hold of - Have sent more than 80 emails to resolve an issue that still is ongoing - Belong messed up account our holder’s details so they wouldn’t even let us fix the account - Requesting refunds for the months where service wasn’t working… Read more

Terrible – Claimed to be able to connect me to internet via ADSL. Took out an account and HAD to give my Visa card number. Charged $60 for modem. Modem received and connected up - NO INTERNET. working fine last five years and I'm am an Engineer. then Technician went quiet, put cover back and took off to find local Telstra exchange. Back two hours later and said you are 7.2 klms. from Exchange and TOO FAR FOR ADSL. Contacted B3LONG who agreed, they cancelled account and said they would send post paid satchel for return of modem. Never arrived. Year later B3LONG started billing me for $10/ month for last 3 months, just found out today. Raised complaint today with TIO for THEFT by B3LONG.

nothing other than a simple email 6 months prior and no follow up. They left me without wifi for 3.5 weeks while trying to run a business and study simultaneously. Due to covid they have completely shut their call centre and only have a call back service. I emailed them the day it got shut off it took nearly a week for a simple call back, when the bloke on the other end just told me he needs to email another section of the company and they will get back to me with no care at all about my sictustion... This call back took nearly another week... etc etc Steer clear, its not worth the stress.

old service without warning when we still had a month left according to them. Have now had no internet for 2 days and 1 reply which was useless. I used to recommend them to people and I signed up due to positive feedback from others. Now my advice is change providers.

Daily disconnections now, and no customer support! – My internet is disconnecting multiple times a day now (internet light going red) for several days and this issue has happened in the past. Terrible customer service – Been with Belong for around 2 years and has been ok. Moved house and wanted to change my services, then realised I can no longer call customer service. A request has to be put through and they will call back. Done that and waited, nothing! So then I decided I want to cancel my account, still had to put a request through, got a phone call a few… Read more

days later, the connection could not be done because they were calling about the change of service, they could not help with cancelling the account. So now I'm still waiting for them to call back, again.

This is by far the worst customer service I've dealt with. Very unhappy customer, would not recommend.
