I got caught up in the failure of their online sales, and I can say that Best & Less is going down the same path!! They have very nice clothing, but pitiful customer service. Online sales requires an online format and good customer service. You can have good customer service if you have the right processes in place which B&L do not have. I'd say give their online a miss. There is no nearby B&L where I live, so I can only do online. They really need to look inwards and create a viable business, or they won't be around long.

Ordered items paid for fast delivery and tracking. Items never arrived, was not given tracking details. Called them 10 days after ordering was told it was at my local post office awaiting collection was not notified by best and less or post office. Horrible customer service! Show details

Fabulous easy online ordering system with a very quick response to my query & issues. My delivery was SUPER FAST! B&Less - you need to look to your moral obligations. Allowing your foreign suppliers to use chemicals, bleaches & dyes in your products is a moral issue, whether there is a law against it or not you MUST only allow those things to be impregnated into fabrics that are safe in the short AND long term. FIRST - do no harm - & is it moral to cause harm to others to build up one's business? You would think a massive retail chain with shelves packed full of overstocked clothing could spare a few basic items to support Indigenous youth, but apparently, that stretches their budget a bit too thin.

exchange the 2 pairs that my daughter did not like for another 2 pairs of the style that she likes (exactly the same style and same price $3 a piece). I was told by the manager that I 'owed' them 50 cents due to the fact that the system showed it and that if I wanted the 50 cents discount as per the original receipt, I needed to bring all 5 pairs back. I did not mind paying extra 50 cents but I did not appreciate her tone and attitude in telling me that I 'owe' money with a silly explanation that an accountant like me just could not accept. Therefore, of course I did not agree with her 'explanation' and pointed out the flaws in it. It startled me that the 'manager' does not even know how to reconcile such a simple transaction. As my daughter was getting tired, I politely handed the cash and said I was happy to pay for it. She then rudely pushed the cash back to me and said "Keep your money. I can deal with it from my end". If you could actually do that, why didn't you just do it from the beginning instead of talking down to me and trying to tell me off? When everything was done, I said 'Thank you' and of course no response can be heard. The moment that I turned my back, I could hear her instantaneously badmouthing me to the girl on her left. I wonder how such unprofessional individual who lacks the most basic bookkeeping skills could be promoted to be a manager? On the other hand, the older lady who served me on the 13th was very nice and friendly. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch; I don't think we will be back there.

You've recently hiked the prices of your HotWheels cars. You used to charge $2 (just like all your competitors!). You now charge $4 each. You're also charging $12 for the Car Culture series, when your competitors are only charging $8. Even Toyworld is cheaper than you. I'll be purchasing elsewhere until your prices are equal/competitive.

Have been getting adds for items they have for sale. Made a special trip in to get what I wanted, only to see almost NO stock, so I asked. I was told that they might have some out the back but were not going to unpack it for a few days and to try next week. Then I realised that I would have to pay a lot more money for decent underwear fabric elsewhere. Lice are extremely hard to get rid of. The underwear looked nice, seemed ok but unfortunately after washing then wearing , lice were present. That is the only reason that they were rated terrible- due to lice being embedded in fabric.
