Clothes in this store have gone deeply downhill in the last 5 years. It used to be good shopping here as they often had lovely, wearable clothes for plus size women. plus size underwear including bras - not any more - they're as bad as Kmart. Tried to lodge a complaint and received a generic email directing me to some ugly plus size items - very disappointing. Will no longer be shopping here.

***WOMEN’S CLOTHING ONLY REVIEW*** The clothes have gone downhill in my opinion… all the spaghetti strap singlet tops as an example I find the straps just won’t stay up they keep sliding off the shoulders… the material of most women’s clothes are thicker than what they used to be and really not comfortable… not sure what’s happened but sadly won’t be buying from best and less anymore

Do not bother ordering all 15 of my items cancelled. Why put things on the website that you dont have. This is the second time I have had everything cancelled. Hurstville store is the worst. Waste of my time.

Super poor customer service, stole my money, declined my review on their website. Made two online purchases this month. First one took the money out of my account: $270, but I never received an order confirmation or email. the money out of my account. I disputed the charge with my bank, and my bank refunded me. I gave B&L the benefit of the doubt and ordered an origin jersey. Got the wrong size, and a defective product. Apparently it's "STAE of origin" now. Complained, was asked for my order number. Sent it, was asked for the SKU? Told them idk what that even means, and they had my order number and could look themselves. They shut the case as resolved. Super poor customer service all around.

Not preferred online store – Order online to get it delivered. But it return to parcel collection from post office as the postie from p Australia Post couldn't wait for 40- 50 second at the front door. I even put my delivery preferences for order required signatures to be left at the front door. What a waste of time. So now it return back to sender. Too much effort.

Worst store ever Fairfield – Avoid Fairfield store. Click and collect one item and go and picked it up. Only to find out that it’s the wrong product in the package. Ring head office no communication back. From store or head office. Ring the store to be told that store manager isn’t in until Saturday. No wonder u get crap service

there was a problem with payment and I’ll be contacted again when they have an answer. Weeks pass. Then I email again. Nothing. I go to Facebook and I actually get a reply from the same person who had replied to my original email. I’m told to wait. Then nothing. No responses on Facebook or emails. I say I’m going to Dept of Fair Trading. Nothing back!

I contacted Fair Trading who were fantastic and got me the refund within days of contact. Order was made 30 June and I just got my refund at the end of September! Almost 3 months.

I am shocked that this company thinks it is allowed to just take orders and send nothing, do not respond and just hope customer goes away?!

What is this company DOING?! The absolute of basics is not being done!!! Too tight to have a proper customer service team (but as per recent news do they even pay employees properly?!)

All of the responses are the same on here ‘we care, we are so sorry’. Nope, they do not. It’s lip service and there is no one higher up addressing the issues.

In this climate, I doubt B&L will survive much longer.

I placed our order on Monday 22nd and picked them up on Thursday 25th from our outback LPO. Incredible service from Best and Less and Australia Post - now we get to wear them on the Finals weekend. I purchased from Best & Less store at Sefton Plaza Shopping Centre SA on 13/11/2025 5 pairs of underwear for my daughter which were marked at $3 apiece (3 pairs of 1 style and 2 other pairs of a different style). exchange the 2 pairs that my daughter did not like for another 2 pairs of the style that she likes (exactly the same style and same price $3 a piece). I was told by the manager that I 'owed' them 50 cents due to the fact that the system showed it and that if I wanted the 50 cents discount as per the original receipt, I needed to bring all 5 pairs back. I did not mind paying extra 50 cents but I did not appreciate her tone and attitude in telling me that I 'owe' money with a silly explanation that an accountant like me just could not accept. Therefore, of course I did not agree with her 'explanation' and pointed out the flaws in it. It startled me that the 'manager' does not even know how to reconcile such a simple transaction. As my daughter was getting tired, I politely handed the cash and said I was happy to pay for it. She then rudely pushed the cash back to me and said "Keep your money. I can deal with it from my end". If you could actually do that, why didn't you just do it from the beginning instead of talking down to me and trying to tell me off? When everything was done, I said 'Thank you' and of course no response can be heard. The moment that I turned my back, I could hear her instantaneously badmouthing me to the girl on her left. I wonder how such unprofessional individual who lacks the most basic bookkeeping skills could be promoted to be a manager? On the other hand, the older lady who served me on the 13th was very nice and friendly. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch; I don't think we will be back there.

You've recently hiked the prices of your HotWheels cars. You used to charge $2 (just like all your competitors!). You now charge $4 each. You're also charging $12 for the Car Culture series, when your competitors are only charging $8. Even Toyworld is cheaper than you. I'll be purchasing elsewhere until your prices are equal/competitive.

Have been getting adds for items they have for sale. Made a special trip in to get what I wanted, only to see almost NO stock, so I asked. I was told that they might have some out the back but were not going to unpack it for a few days and to try next week. The "manager" seemed amused that I drove all that way ( I don't live nearby) and I could come back next week.

Sorry to tell but it is necessary. Bought ladies underwear in 2 pk . Cotton was from China . Made in China. There was lice in the fabric. Then I realised that I would have to pay a lot more money for decent underwear fabric elsewhere. Lice are extremely hard to get rid of. The underwear looked nice, seemed ok but unfortunately after washing then wearing , lice were present. That is the only reason that they were rated terrible- due to lice being embedded in fabric.

can make them fit. But it doesn't mean you should. It's like stockings material so even though they are stretchy, you also get runs in them if you stretch them too much. They are very see through. So if you don't mind showing what you had for breakfast, these are the undies to buy! Not my cup of tea. Not comfortable for a bigger gal - they keep rolling down. But if your desperate they'll do.

Ordered windcheater & 2 track pants. All 3XL. None of what I received was what I ordered. Windcheater manufactures label was 'M', however Best and Less label was '3XL'. Manufactures size was correct. Track pants were to be cuffed legs. Both weren't.

Dodgy, poor quality clothing – I purchased a ladies T Shirt that was a decent length. I am an 18 and purchased a 24 to make sure I had a long T Shirt. I washed it in cold water prior to wearing and it is now so short it is unusable. I tried to call the Geelong store and no answer. Poor quality, poor service. This was a oncer. Even if it's cheap it works out expensive when you don't get any wear out of it.

Wonderful Best and Less finally opened at Marion Shop Centre – I was so glad happy to see the Best and Less store opened in Marion Shopping centre, as usual found some really good specials and affordable, nice to see plus sizes in womens range, would like to see in the Mens range please, 5,6,7 plus sizes please! the staff were so lovely, so friendly thank you, looking forward to my next shop !
