Will never shop at betta home living in biloela again. Was deceived about a product and what it does, spent $240 on it and once at home discovered that the product is nothing like what she said. Upon returning the product, we were told by the same sales lady that she has no idea about the product. Extremely disappointing from so called professionals who are supposed to know what they're talking about.Absolute joke

I purchased a portable air conditioner via an online store. The customer service was helpful through online chat, checking inventory before I placed the order, ensuring a smooth and fast sales process. Delivery was arranged 2-3 days after my purchase, which was pretty fast. However, as my suburb has a challenging parking, when the driver called for delivery, I suggested a specific location to park in case he has any difficulties in finding a parking spot. Despite the rudeness, the driver delivered the item to my apartment front door. I've bought electrical appliances elsewhere, and many would make excuses not to deliver to my home, leaving items in the lobby. I purchased a washing machine for $496 online.Found out they do price matching and read up on their pricematch policy.
Submitted a pricematch request, as I had found the same washer for $60 cheaper at a competitor.
They then told me it falls significantly below the RRP.
No where on their website listing for the washer does it say the RRP. Show details

After waiting in THE GOOD GUYS for 15 minutes with no customer service, then in HARVEY NORMAN for 14 minutes with no customer service. I decided to go to BETA, Mt Pleasant, where I'd never shopped before. It was roughly 4.30pm (1hr before closing time) on a Thursday & I ended up with not 1 but 2 sales staff helping me. My hat goes off to the young man called 'BLADE' who answered every question I had and if he didn't know he went and found out straight away for me. Bought an a/c online; delivery, service, all good. But found a problem with the product and emailed the store asking for assistance. No reply after 2 days so rang and spoke to gent who identified as "the owner" with "40 years" experience. Stated ..."wouldn't know what to do..." and recommended to persist with manufacturer. From memory, it did say it was in stock when I ordered it. Was meant to arrive within 2-5 working days, after 7 working days I called and they said 'oh yeah, it's was back in stock a few days ago, I forgot to update your order..I can organise delivery'. I whinged and she said she could arrange it for tomorrow, but I have to be home for signature and couldn't give me a time frame. They will just contact me before they come. Last week Tuesday 15th aug our washing machine of 11 yrs gave up,not wanting to spend about $350 on repairs we decided to buy a new front loader,after spending half day on reviews we decided on a LG WV5-1408w 8KG. We ordered a freezer through Kunda Park Store in Sunshine Coast and we paid cash.We were told that it was going to be delivered within 5 days. 2 weeks down the line there is nothing. We lost all the meat we purchased prior to promised delivery date due no storeage space. We are now contemplating making a police report and ask for a refund. We last spoke to a guy called Jack he was very rude and a Floor manager called Liz as been telling us to wait . Poor customer service and we can’t believe that this is happening in developed country like Australia
