Incredibly disappointed by the no return policy. Buyer beware, they will refuse to provide a refund and as I got quoted by the sales person “we are not legally required to provide a refund” and offered me a store credit only, which can not be used online. Instead of a store gift card which is standard these days, I got a credit note written in a bit of scrap paper.

Negative experience – Bought a pair of Airflex sandals at Betts, Marion. This brand used to be good quality and very comfortable. or linings as these don't stretch much and can feel clammy. When I purchased I asked if it was possible to return the sandals if unsuitable and was merely told I had 14 days to return them, and to keep the receipt. I found out when I had paid and left the store that this style does not have a leather footbed. (The composition is stamped inside the front of the upper strap, and confirms that the lining of the sandal and the sole are synthetic.) So only the upper part has a leather component. When I checked the returns policy myself, I was told that exchanges were only possible within the 2 weeks but a refund would not be given, only a credit note. There was nothing else in the store that appealed to me, and I don't want a credit note as I still want to buy another pair of sandals right now. All in all this has been a negative experience for me, and I would not shop at Betts again. I did mention the incorrect online information for this sandal to one of the sales staff but she didn't seem particularly interested. I also posted a review of the shoe to the website but it hasn't been published. I see that Betts has a large number of bad reviews relating to both quality and poor customer service. The returns policy is out if step with other businesses in 2025 especially given that there is online alternatives that offer free returns and a longer period to decide.

Betts shoes are not fit for purpose – I bought a pair of Hunter sandals from Betts in August 2024. I wore them overseas for three weeks. At the end of this time the footbed was worn and wrinkled. by Dec 23rd had to return them because exactly the same thing occured. Despite barely being worn the footbed was torn and wrinkled to the point of being destroyed. When I inspected them the foodbed was made of tissue-thin leather. They will are not fit to be worn for any length of time without ripping. It's just an impossibility. They are not fit for actually wearing. I returned them and got a refund to the same shop and the saleswoman professed surprise at the fault (but didn't look at the shoes and their fault at all). She took the shoes and destroyed them. I wrote a review on Betts website, including pictures, and they have not published it. Beware of buying shoes from this company; its standards are appalling.

Purchased a pair of sandals for $138.99 (which was at 30% off) After 1 wear the embellishment on the fell off. Complained online to Betts and was asked to send a photo and description. Never heard back from them. Such Poor Service............

 Follow-up  · Not one single thing has been done about my complaint. You continue to ask for feedback but do not seem to do anything with it. I have sent photos 4 times. I will send them again but I am really questioning the point. Your after sale service is dreadful. You should do much, much better

Exceptional Customer Service – Betts customer service is beyond anything I've ever experienced, long story short, I had shoes on order, Betts requested to provide a credit note as they had run out of stock, however when I asked that I really really wanted them, Jenn tracked a pair down from interstate and they are on their way. searched for the shop in the centre and then looked online to discover that the store is permanently closed. Yes, I am another customer who has been ripped off!! Well, what's the point of trying to return them via mail considering the reviews of this so-called shoe store with nobody having anything positive to say about them, including me. Worst store I’ve ever bought from – Sells shoes that will fall apart after a day, you’ll be lucky if they last a month. Customer server is a train wreck as well and won’t listen to your concerns and will blame you for their shoes falling apart with normal use.

ZeroE - Worst made pair of shoes ive ever had – Bought a pair of ZeroE work shoes, within two months they have fallen apart in the following ways: shoe laces shredded (in the first week) shoelace eyelets fell out of shoe soles coming off the heel soles have split in half fabric on top sides has torn open where the shoe bends on top of this, every time i wear them i get static shocks from every bit of metal i touch. they also hurt my feet.

Will have to keep looking for that comfy shoe! – Bought Zeroe Masie silver sneakers in the hope I had finally found a comfy shoe that I could wear all day. They were great when i tried them on. Unfortunately, within no time of wearing them the zips came undone. I loosened the laces, but still, the zips undid. They really hurt my feet by days end too.
