Terrible service and a bully to match – After being told by Apple the repair was in warranty, I took it to Beyond the Box on Apples suggestion who called them to confirm only to be told it wasn’t covered by a rude member of the Beyond the Box team. The owner Justin was then abusive , stalked social media and lied on numerous occasions - check out the his poor behaviour in Google Reviews! Stay away from this company at all costs. Show details

Very excited, went in person to pick up my new toy :), the service given by the owner and his staff was smooth, fast & straightforward. Great +efficient communication & very friendly folk. Beware – They charged me a $95 service fee and said it would be refunded if it was covered by warranty. Three weeks after I dropped it off they called and quoted me $1100 for repairs. When I told them I had spoke to apple and they said it was covered they miraculously found the information confirming it in 10 seconds. Then when I picked it up I had to request the refund for the service fee. Will never go back

Loss of data, poor communication – Make sure you backup your data even if you state you want them to contact you if it’s going to be deleted. Lost everything and was not recoverable. The turnaround time was also a lot longer than quoted. Was told about a week and took three. If you can, go directly through Apple and not an authorised reseller.

Not Happyt – I took 2 Macs in to get repaired - first Mac they send me the quote that doesn't include fixing the broken speaker I asked to be fixed, they then quote to replace my 2Tb Hard drive with a 1Tb SSD (that costs a LOT more than a Hard drive). Made a phone call - remarkably unit was ready for collection. Collected unit, again staff are friendly in store, but reading the service report the unit was ready 8 days earlier but nobody had contacted us. Given the world we are currently in and the need for laptops etc this is poor communication and lacking in respect for their clients.

Excellent customer service – Great service from start to finish, was greeted at the door in a COVID safe environment and had my laptop looked at and diagnosed straight away, quoted and fixed within a timely manner. Not Surprised 2.9 – This company is totally focused on just that.... COMPANY. I paid a considerable $$ amount to have my Mac Pro repaired and then had an issue that was not evident before repair. Took it back, they found no fault and demanded a $$ fee two hours later. The guy who claimed to be the Retail Manager was unssymethatic and in fact quite rude. Smart aleck – Dropped into have a repair done on my daughter's laptop and asked the guy at the counter if he could repair the laptop, he responded " I cant but the Techs can" I placed the laptop on counter and opened it and he comments "We only repair Macs" he clearly saw it wasn't a Mac prior to me opening it. Smart aleck service, we have 3 Macs and I know where we won't be going as locals.

between $100-400. No thank you, took it to a small Asian phone fixing store who charged $50 and fixed it, the issues was the battery not the charging pin. Paid $45 at beyond the box for a poor assessment who fabricated a false issue to try get me to pay more then what was needed. Not professionals Not worthy of your money Consumer affaires on this one. Stay well beyond this box,wouldn't trust them.

box organized a replacement phone as it was covered under warranty. Great, until 4 days after I received my replacement phone. While talking on the phone very loud static would randomly occur. It would turn itself off etc etc. so back to beyond I went. The staff did a quick check and decided that it had to be sent back to apple. This was the week before Christmas. Luckily I was offered a loan phone. In early January the staff from beyond told me that apple had not approved repair or replacement as the phone had had illegal repairs. This is a phone that I had had given to me by apple to replace my previous iPhone 8. The phone I had for 6 days, 4 of which I hadn’t even used it as I hadn’t had time to set it up! Thankfully Justin from beyond the box knew that I had been a customer of Apple for the previous 15years, and persisted in dealing with apple to provide a replacement phone that actually works! Disrespectful & Unhelpful – Was in the area and called to see if they had Ram chips for a MacBook.. They did, however they refused to sell me the ram unless they installed it claiming they couldn't provide warranty. wouldn't sell it too me. So I expressed that along with waiving warranty, I'd pay the $45 installation fee, without the installation...still wouldn't sell it too me expressing they could not alter their policy... Expected me to make a 80km round trip to bring them the MacBook when the installation takes roughly 4 minutes. The retail manager failed at Customer Service skills, their installation charge is an overpriced rip off, especially when most stores would offer the 4 minute installation for free and their treatment of customers such as myself, as if we are morons or stupid, will ensure that I never make the mistake of contacting this organisation again.

Typical Computer says 'no' attitude with their 'it is policy' as if policy is some kind of Government legislation that cannot be altered. Wouldn't trust these guys from my experience.

Avoid at all cost! – I would not recommend this company. After my work buying a new apple ipad it would turn off and be unresponsive. This was witnessed by multiple coworkers with the IT technician suggesting it was a hardware issue. laughed at me for wanting a new device. I was not informed that just for the assessment, it would cost $45 if nothing was found wrong with it even though it was under warranty. The worker even refused to release the Ipad unless I paid the money. Sad representation for Apple - avoid at all costs!!

Amazing Service! – I spilled water on my MacBook Air and it stopped charging. After some horrible service from Apple in Doncaster over the phone (tried to tell me there was something was wrong with my charger), I came to beyond the box and they treated my laptop for water damage. I paid $125 for priority service so that it would be fixed overnight, and it now works perfectly. Customer service was amazing and the employees were lovely. Would highly recommend.

solutions, many different options depending on your budget, i couldn't recommend these guys more. If anyone has anything bad to say about (beyond the box) then they are pathetic, difficult, and hard to please. if you have an older mac device which is out of warranty and don't have the money to replace it then please take it to the team at beyond the box they are absolute legends !
