ETAs or missed pick ups and I'm having far less worries about my products getting damaged in transit. Their customer service team is fantastic! They promptly reply with a good amount of information regarding to my queries, not just with generic cop out messages like other companies. I'm very happy with them so far and don't see myself changing to anyone else any time soon. I highly recommend Big Post if you're having issues with other freight carriers.
Chloe R. has been amazing. We had two missed collections from last week and an additional booking for another pallet, all of which are crucial for our store supplies. Big Post facilitated the delivery of a 200kg package from Victoria to NSW. The delivery was delayed, but Nick in customer service was excellent. He tracked down the issue, kept in touch, and followed up when the delivery was completed. The pallet arrived in perfect shape. Show details · 1

service, expecting the item to be delivered directly to my apartment. However, only one delivery person was assigned to the task. Citing the item being too large to fit into the elevator, he left it at the ground-level loading zone without attempting further delivery. As a result, I was forced to arrange alternative assistance at my own expense to carry the item upstairs. Wasted my time and my money. After complain, already got any apology from them. Still, Totally nonsense customer experience from this delivery, if cannot deliver to home door, should be more detailed information provided from supplier and the company ahead, otherwise getting wrong guidance ordered!

recommended them to me in the first place. These guys really know their stuff, and they made my shipping experience a breeze.
But what really impressed me was their communication. If anything went wrong (and let's face it, things can go wrong in the shipping world), they were on it faster than a seagull on a french fry. Even when my package got run over by a forklift and the replacement was sent to the wrong address (hey, it happens), they went above and beyond to sort it out. And let me tell you, it takes a lot to impress this salty old sea dog.
So, if you're looking for a freight company that delivers the goods (literally and figuratively), look no further than Big Post. They'll treat you like family, and they'll get your packages where they need to go, even if it means jumping through hoops (or dodging forklifts).

Not accountable, didnt follow up when their driver noted that supposedly another company had collected the freight (which the supplier says is incorrect as they only ever use big post) therefore they fraudulently took funds for a job and didn’t complete the job and didn’t notify anyone. no one knows where the thousands of dollars worth of freight is. Their tracking system is hopeless. They have poor communication between themselves and their subcontractors and can only contact subcontractors via email so the delays just keep mounting up when trying to sort any issue out. Picked up on 9/5 and were told must be delivered by 23/5. That timeframe was more than generous. I can see the item has been sitting in their Depot since Mon 19/5. in Depot 20/5. It was assigned again 21/5, then back in Depot 21/5. Here it is on the 23/5 and still hasn't been delivered. We have phoned and emailed several times over the week and we get the scripted, "we'll continue to monitor this", response. Today I called the carrier and was told "it's in our depot and we'll try and get it out today". Bigpost and a toothless tiger. They don't monitor, they send occasional emails asking what's happening. Look for another delivery service!

Horrible was meant to be delivered on the 9th of may wasnt even picked up. It's a 23k engine and mechanic is waiting to install it has car on hoist cant move it rang big post and like they had no care at all the courier tnt has not updated or responded to tell me where it is. I cannot express how helpful the team from BigPost were. I had a few questions that were answered promptly and respectfully during the transit time. There was an issue at the depot upon delivery where the goods could not be found but a simple email and the team were onto it straight away and the goods were found the next day. Our website wasn't connecting to Bigpost but when I called through I spoke with Andy who went on to explain that we needed to be on the CSI platform which no one had informed us prior. While the handling agent Big Post uses in our area (TNT/FedEX) leaves a lot to be desired, Big Post did keep us informed and updated at all stages of the delivery. We needed large parcels from Adelaide to Central West NSW in a short time-frame. Big Post handled our parcels with care and took only 2 days - delivered to the door, early in the morning.
