VerifiedHi Blaupunkt I have seen the advice and tried resetting my TV by pressing the volume up button for 5 sec and then switching the power back on to tv, but nothing happens. When I switch the TV on normally, the Blaupunkt Android TV screen comes on for a few seconds and then the TV switches off again.
Please help?
Yeah they don’t care , they just waste our money then say you’re fault! This business is a scam

I have just purchased the 2.2 BPSBAR2SW sound bar however it will not connect with the tv. It does work with blu tooth and optical cable but not HDMI and not linking with the TV remote for volume control Can you offer how to remedy this pls

Hi, suddenly after android boot up, my tv is going to a black screen and 2 messages open from top right - couldn't install update and running out of space. These open and close randomly and quickly. I can get it to go to the top right remote menu and choose TV - goes to a blue screen then back to black and messages - and home but it doesn't seem to go anywhere. any suggestions ?

Using the Remote: • Unplug the cord of the tv on the socket • While you press and hold the VOL+ button for 5 seconds, immediately plug the TV back into a working power outlet. Make sure remote is pointed directly to the TV sensor. • TV will then enter the recovery mode screen. You will see “Entering recovery system! Erasing”. • After the recovery is completed, the problem will be fixed. • You can use the remote control or the buttons on the TV to power ON to confirm whether the unit has been repaired.

The TV is rubbish get a refund whileu still can cause they won't last longer than 1 year and your screen will blow out and u can't get a refund ayonz won't help u even if the garrantee runs out 2 days after happen to me luckily j.b hifi gave mea refund like they should since the TV only lasted 1 yr
While I agree there were problems at the start and it can be a bit fickle turning on by itself - I’ve had the tv almost 4years

Can I clarify - while holding down the vol+ unplug or after. Or Am I pointing the remote while I unplug and replug

John, are you holding your finger on the power button until the message appears on the screen ( do you want to shut down, Cancel or OK ). These TVs are like a computer, you can't just hit the power button to shut it down, you have to go through the Power menu.
If you just hit the Power button on the remote, the TV will have sound and no picture the next time you turn the TV on.
Always shut down the TV by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds, then select Shut down when the menu appears.
I have BP500USG9500-Blaupunkt. Can someone explain a bit more on Red, Green, Yellow and Blue buttons on the remote? Can you use them to set a list of favourite Antenna channels ?

Jade, The original Blaupunkt Remote is garbage anyway, I replaced it with a Universal Remote which works so much better. I can point the Universal Remote from anywhere in our Living Room and it works, unlike the original.

I had to replace a remote within the first year of my 32" Blaupunkt (during the warranty period at least!). By the end of the 2nd year, the TV itself had become virtually unworkable – super slow, intermittently freezing and often quitting out of applications. My loss was only a couple of hundred dollars, but I notice yours is a 55", so a bit more expensive. I hope the company at least replaced your remote control and that you get longer use out of your Blaupunkt than I did mine!

John, are you shutting your TV down correctly by pressing the power button on the remote for 3 seconds, when the menu appears, select shut down. If you don't shut the TV down by this sequence, it will power on with Audio, but no Picture the next time you use the TV.
These TVs are computers now days and need to be shut down correctly, or they will start to develop boot up issues.

PeterT I have the same model unit purchsed from TVSN and have had ongoing issues. I rang the distributor up and they told me its 12 months old call a TV repairman. The TV is a piece of garbage my fault for purchasing it, lesson learnt just issue after issue, l do not need the stress going out this week and purchase a quality brand anyone who buys this brand good luck Stupid mistake purchasing this.

Hey guys, I bought BP750USG9300 a couple days ago and I can't get my xbox one to display in anything other than safe mode settings, won't let me adjust setting up or if I do the display isn't working and tv can't detect signal, have tried turning game mode and pc mode on but won't make a difference
