project. On Tue Feb 1st 2022 I had a failed slab inspection from the Certifier. Bear in mind the project did not require any excavation, shoring or soil works. It was just a pool/spa to be constructed inside and existing partially demolished old pool Other Issues including but not limited; dewatering issue being the way the water will ongoingly be unable to filter out from around the new smaller pool, and around the existing older partially demolish pool, risk that it might pop, to broken tiling, uneven water bed in the spa, the heater installed in a way that it cannot be serviced and fix under warranty, which was even worse. I had to get professionals plumbers in and pay to have it done as BH just gave the run around. Pool lighting issues within months of instal. Also the company expects you to get your own an OC. I was told/understood that all council services are included and paid for as part of the contract. The contract is also very misleading my deposit the salesperson says comes off the overall price. This was not the case for me. So it cost thousands of dollars more ($9,490) than what I was lead to believe as stated in the contract. It was also build in the wrong spot so I lost half a meter width in my already compact pool. I have had 3 pools build in my lifetime and am about to start the process for our country holiday house. I would not use Blue Haven AGAIN, I chose them because their salesman was great and it "looked" like they had good reviews. I cannot understand how they are still in business. I have received emails from BH that I was accidentally copied into by their admin staff of hundreds of complaints and delays to customers. It was a group email that was sent instead of Blind CC. The comment or review expressed here are my facts experienced, whether good or bad, hence it will not constitute to any act of defamation.
VALUE FOR MONEY – We are very happy with our in ground concrete pool. The process of project managing it ourselves was challenging but Roy from the office was very supportive and guided us all the way. It was difficult but we would happily do it again because the value for money is exceptional.

Still waiting – Pool ‘finished’ ages ago. Concrete left all around the surrounds and not cleaned up. Pipe placed above ground level. Crushed by foot need pump to get it under ground level at one point . Because shallow end was built deep and had to be changed to shallow this changed the location of planned steps and height. change step shape height etc. had to remove a jet because of this . One of the jets doesn’t have a cover. Cracking around jets.
Have been reporting this via email since October last year.
Pool coping done on top but none on sides which makes the pool look unfinished
Huge cracks in our pebble Crete surrounds.
The tiler is very good except used white sealer for part of tiling so we two colour of grout.
Such a shame still waiting to hear back after such a long long time to have jobs done.
Advised call back.

directly into our stormwater system during the build process then completely denied responsibility. For months, we were ignored and left with the problem until I had no choice but to escalate it to the Building Commission.
Issue was eventually resolved. Pool is ok quality with minor issues.
Disaster- you would do a better job it you did it yourself – Absolutely horrific, from exploding concrete hoses when pouring concrete, to neglect for 6 months whilst they refused to take responsibility for home and neighbour’s property and car being sprayed with concrete, no compensation for neighbour, we had to self manage the build, employee graffitied form work about hating company, installed pipes at… Read more
wrong end and never fixed it. Employee hitting on wife. Concrete not poured straight or flat. The best bit was the day they left.
Still no solutions – After a recent review stating how unsatisfied we are with our coping (all the grout has fallen out after a year) looks terrible. This is just the main problem amongst a heap of others. A generic email response was finally returned saying blue haven cared about our concerns. Dishonest vendors – I purchased a spa pool. The pool was damaged demo stock. I was never advised that it was anything other than new. There was no mention of demo status. They refused to pay for transport for a return of the pool. They seem to be a frequent flier with Fair Trading. Dealing with [Name Removed] was difficult. She takes no responsibility. Absolute Nightmare – These people are crooks. Couldn’t get any response. Pool took 1.5years (6x4) uncomplicated. Sloppy workmanship, no accountability. No phone answers. DO NOT USE. Show details
Sub-contractors were great, Blue Haven was incredibly difficult – BH almost never returned our calls; perhaps short staffed, perhaps a business model, but rude nonetheless. It took many calls to learn that their principal contact "doesn't take calls", you have to book a call online. adhesive ended up right through our garage, I have no idea how that happened.
A dispute over $800 adhesive used for screeding instead of cement was brushed aside.
Six months after completion, we're still waiting for the Occupation Certificate.
Probably the worst "service" I've ever experienced. At least the finished product is good!
Very Competitive Price – Overall Blue Haven came through with my pool and managed to build a project that was within my budget and timeframe. Pool Repair Job – I had a bad crack in the side of my pool and also the pavers around the outside were loose and unsafe. I called in Blue haven to fix everything and now it looks like a new pool! WOW Thank you! Show details
Fantastic job – I contacted Blue Haven around a year ago. There were some delays with the project due to covid and bad weather but the boys pushed through and got the job done before summer! Well done Show details
