I am a broker and whilst Bluestone are a means to an end for clients that may otherwise not be able to source finance, their customer service is simply disgraceful. manager cannot speak to the team and must converse via email with them. This leads to long delay times in solving problems that have been created by their own lack of understanding. By all means offshore your operation to save costs, but you must be able to take responsibility for the actions of your offshore teams & the person creating the problem must be able to be contacted to take ownership of the issue they have caused (or at least someone in authority who can actually fix the issue).

company places customers under hardship and immediately reports them as having bad credit. This negatively affects their credit history and locks them out of further financial help for up to 12 months. No Transparency: There’s little to no communication or warning about how entering a hardship arrangement will impact a customer’s credit or financial future. Unfair Practices Toward Low-Income Families: The interest rates charged are extremely high—making repayments unaffordable for families who are already under financial stress. Lack of Oversight: It’s unclear why companies are allowed to treat struggling customers this way. There appears to be little accountability or regulation. I strongly urge the government and consumer advocacy groups like StepChange or ASIC/AFCA (in Australia) to investigate this company’s practices and ensure fair treatment of financially vulnerable people.

Runaway as far as you can. This company has no regard or respect for their clients. They only care about your money and will not bother helping you out. Their customer service is almost non-existent. alright. The entitlement I see from others who have gone to Tier 2 lenders is amusing - you're utilising a Tier 2 lender for a reason, educate yourself as to your credit position. Once things change, by all means, refinance across to a Tier 1 and be done with it, but be grateful there are Tier 2 lenders in the industry who are prepared to give those with slightly out of the box scenarios the opportunity to service a mortgage. Bluestone has been brilliant for us, I'm self employed and don't meet the criteria for Tier 1 right now because my accountant is a wizard, and keeps my taxable income nice and low. We're good, and we knew what we were in for because we read our loan contract, and ts and cs page by page before we signed. Knowledge is power. Don't be "that guy".

Really think twice before using them – Look they assist those who are mainly a higher risk borrower. But they throw on another .10 percent on top of your .25 percent when rates rise. Doesn’t matter that your repayments have been on time for the last 5 years. Clunky staff who seem to be over seas, I got out thank god and would never use them again. Don’t get sucked into there lower rates cause it won’t last long guaranteed.
