Incompetent tyre fitters – After getting 4 new tyres replaced at Bob Jane T-Mart (Fyshwick) I returned home and noticed that there were 2 wheel nuts in my center console. Checking my tyres I noticed 2 wheel nuts missing from my front right wheel that were not replaced after getting new tyres. The bolts were also damaged so I could not put the nuts back on. was told it hopefully should be OK to drive back to the shop to rectify the stuff up. When I asked how this could happen and was given the response 'things happen'. I now had to wait another hour for the bolts to be replaced and was not even given an apology for their incompetence and my time wasted.

When I entered the shop, I was greeted with a “Yes?” to which I responded that I was dropping my ute in for 5 tyres. When I collected my ute I had to ask where the old wheels and tyres were and why the spare wasn’t winched up underneath it. No information was given willingly and honestly it felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there. I’ll probably use a different shop next time. Show details

Follow-up · Large choice of tyres in all budgets. They explained everything, including the pros and cons of cheap vs expensive tyres depending on your vehicle and how you travel etc. The area is small but clean and tidy. About 6 chairs, TV to watch if you choose plus coffee/tea making available. Many people choose to check out nearby shops or go to the Belconnen Westfield Mall just up the road while your work is done.
