I also lost a tyre valve cap at bob Jane which was replaced with a generic valve cap, which they did not mention
Follow-up · I spoke to staff but they said it was the scratch was already there. As I had no photo proof I did not contest it. I noticed the cap was replaced with a generic one when washed the car a few days later The wheel is alloy.

I visited Bob Jane @ Bankstown on Monday June 30th to buy a new set of tyres for my Subaru Forester and was pleasantly surprised by the service I received predominantly from Steve. He checked my tyres, spoke to my son as requested, ordered the tyres in and had them fitted the same day a couple of hours later. Genuine Wheel Scratched – I would recommend the store for regular cars. But not cars with genuine wheels as the tyre fitters are not competitive enough to handle genuine wheels. Took a photo of before and after and as expected the tyre fitters scratched my genuine wheel. Been a loyal customer to the shop but the tyre fitters are not careful for what they’re doing.
