my car was ready and he said yes. I asked why I was left waiting for 30 minutes and he said “Dunno”. I won't be giving Bob Jane another opportunity to put the customer last. Don’t give a d#mn service is becoming all too common nowadays.

was informed that the incorrect stud pattern had been ordered for my vehicle. After some delay, the correct wheels were eventually sourced and fitted with the 35-inch tyres I supplied.

When I later attempted to install the wheels on my vehicle, I noticed that several balancing weights had already fallen off. A test drive confirmed significant steering wheel vibration consistent with improper balancing. I made a follow-up appointment to have the issue rectified. On arrival, the manager refused to address the problem, stating that the tyres were an illegal fitment. After discussion, he agreed to rebalance them only if I returned with the wheels transported on a trailer.

I went home, refitted my original wheels, and returned with the set on a trailer. On my return, I was told I had taken too long and that the matter would not be addressed until the following day. This wasted my only day off work. I ultimately chose to have the wheels rebalanced at a local independent tyre shop.

Separately, at the Highpoint branch, I previously had a wheel fitted that was missing a bolt. This is a fundamental safety issue. A missing wheel bolt is not a minor oversight — it represents a serious lapse in quality control and final inspection procedures.

In both cases, the issues relate to basic workmanship and quality assurance rather than complex technical problems. My concern is not just the inconvenience, but the apparent lack of systematic checks to ensure work is completed safely and to standard.

Based on my experiences, I would advise prospective customers to carefully consider alternatives, particularly where safety-critical components such as wheels and tyres are involved.

Monday?? The local guys have their 'stuff' together and said 'dont worry we'll sort it out for you' Sure enough a tiny bloody nail got in and was the cause, they showed me the culprit, they patched it form the inside, all for no fee. I've bought tyres from this particular workshop, my partner had four new tyres supplied and fitted to her car only 12 months ago. These guys care, I will only take my car to them for anything tyres! Highly recommend them.

Booked it in 1 week ago for 9am...got there 9am 4 tyres and a so called wheel alignment 2.5 hours. Highly recommend, kind, professional, good work & fast! – The staff were super nice and professional from start to finish! I had a rear left tire puncture - they managed to fit me in with little notice, fixed it fast (removed a nail and I didn’t need a new tire) and they gave me a really great rate! Pitiful – Worst customer service possible. Suffered damage and puncture to tyre on Westgate freeway which required a new tyre. Left wheel on Friday before flying interstate and was promised on return (Tuesday) it would be ready and quick fitting as I live in East Gippsland. not there and offered a different tyre at 2.5 times the cost. I was forced to drive the 4 hours at 80km max. Don’t understand why nobody had checked when tyre did not arrive Monday and advise me so I could make a decision on what to do. Stressful drive should have been averted.
