Upon inspection the store representative discovered that the drivers side front tyre had not been seated correctly, resulting the tyre and weights being off centre. The staff at Bob Jane , Morley were very accommodating in rectifying our situation thus resulting in our safe journey to Geraldton. A big thank you to the crew at Bob Jane T-Mart, Morley. You saved the day. I rang the Vic Park store on Friday morning and mentioned to the supervisor what had happened, he stated that he had seen that the tyre wasn't seated correctly and mentioned this to the tyre fitter but he didn't follow up to see if the tyre had been reseated. I also might add, that whilst we were waiting for our vehicle at the Vic Park store, I observed that 4 cans of 4X beer or similar taken from the fridge in the eating room and taken out into the workshop area, prior to the store closing, not a good look from a customer point of view.

On Monday 24th November, I booked in 4 new Pirelli tyres for my Clubsport at the Morley WA store. therefore put my trust in you.
After I arrived home to check everything, there was a scratch deep enough to see the raw metal, along with a following scrape around the wheel. I called back to advise of the damage, [Name Removed] apologised, gave me the store email to send the damage photos, and this is where Bob Jane Morley really shines:
1. I emailed the same day the damage was made, on Monday 24th November. 2. I called on Tuesday 25th November to see if the email was received as it was getting later in the day and I hadn’t heard anything. [Name Removed] advised the email was received and that it will be attended too. She didn’t want to give me a time frame on this but conceded we’re busy. 3. Friday November 28th, I send another follow up email with no response at all 4. Monday 1st December, still no response, I call the store and talk to [Name Removed], who I assume as some sort of authority.
I’d like to point out my frustrations here: 1. Can you not understand my infuriation right now? The first one is I said please take care…you didn’t. 2. I asked for an update or some sort of response to the damage you did to my car via the email as suggested by [Name Removed]…you didn’t. 3. It took me a week stressing over this to contact you by phone to chase YOU up, and this is all [Name Removed] had to say: a. I’ve sent your email off to get approval for the damage b. We’ve been really busy
So, once again, here’s why I’m angry, because this is how I perceive Bob Jane Morley too be operated:
1. [Name Removed], you failed to communicate any updates with me and left me in the dark. You need to understand this leaves a customer with a pretty nasty view on things. 2. As I stated to you on the phone today (1st December) there’s two things that happened here. One, you made a genuine mistake and damaged my wheel but didn’t notice. Or two, you did the damage and didn’t confess too it, which makes me believe, ‘you’d try it on me’ and this runs true with what you said to me today, you said you sent an email off for approval for repair, I just don’t think you have. Good customer service is accepting liability, it doesn’t take over a week to address a complaint, and I don’t care that your busy. You haven’t done anything, and it shows.
Seeing’s you left a cute little dangly thing on my rear vision mirror for feedback…here it is. I actually gave you a chance to respond to my email and keep things locally through the right channels, but now I have to go through all the relevant complaint channels to get a resolution.
Also as discussed, I’ll get my own quote to have this wheel repaired properly, and honestly there should be no approval process, you damaged my wheel when I politely and specifically pleaded that you don’t. Why will you not accept liability?

nerve-wracking experience as I didn’t know if I'd make it half-way across town on my leaking tyre. I'm 70 y-o, had never changed a tyre before & I'd left my phone at home so couldn't call anyone for help. Manager Mark explained he didn't normally fix rims but this was an emergency. He also noticed 2 tyres not roadworthy. He fixed the rim & replaced the tyres (he had the same brand in stock) in under an hour, & I still made it to the beach for my (much needed) morning swim. Mark's fast, efficient work was very much appreciated. air didn't go in more. When I put in air at 38 psi, it went in a little bit, but I saw the tire being pressed again. So I went to Bob Jane today and explained to [Name Removed] salesperson the situation and the mechanical checked it,
And he said "the air pressure is normal you can just go back" but I told him "please check your self my tire is pressed" and he said "it's normal because the air pressure is normal" but I wanted to check with him, finally we went out and made sure the tire was pressed together. The tire is deflated. But he said again if the air pressure is normal it is ok. and he told me "you can go back because there was no problem" and I told him "that there was a problem" And he said, "Did we recommend this tire? You chose it." so I sad that "I entered my vehicle information in Bob Jane Homepage and selected it from the recommended tire" and than I was so surprised that, because he said that "it was your choice you bought buy3 and get1 free" how did he say like that?
If I bought a tire that wasn't a promotion, I wondered if he would have replaced it right away or if I didn't have to be humiliated like this. I'm feeling the danger of driving after paying over $650 to replace it with a new tire, and I don't understand a situation where [Name Removed] salesperson says the tire is normal, go back, and nothing can be done. I don't think he is not bad person but I don't understand his service mind.
It's not been 3 months and 5 months since I changed my tire, it's only been 2 weeks. There's also a warranty, so I don't understand this kind of thing.
I can't wait to get out of this problem. If you want a picture, I will upload it. I hope the deal with Bob Jane, Australia's largest and most recognized company, will leave a good memory.

Purchased 4 tyres and balancing online 18 May. Was then told they only had 2 in stock, went ahead and replaced 2 on 29 May on the promise that the other 2 would be available in a couple of weeks. Date then slipped to mid July, then end of July. Now 8 August e-mailed and got no response, phoned and they promised to call me back...still waiting.… Read more

do the wheel alignment was done in a timely manner and the waiting room was great. I personally would like to thank the staff for making My purchase of the tyres easy and enjoyable at the same time. The only disappointing thing is that they no longer have the service booklet associated with the long life Tyre plan. Whilst this is disappointing it’s not a deal breaker.
