WILL NEVER USE BOOKING.COM AGAIN

Will never use BOOKING.COM ever again. The airlines cancelled my flight and I been chasing for the refund for almost 2 months. Been talking different people (maybe from India) and they keep saying my request has been escalated and the worse thing is they never email you to get you posted of the claim. NEVER again I will use their website so stay away people. Everything is good until you run into issue and these people will give you the run around. Show details

Price Match

Dishonest organisation, approved our price match request and then used every excuse under the sun to not provide the refund. Customer Service completely unhelpful, multiple confirmation over the phone to say the price match refund has been processed. No confirmation or refund has been received. Every customer agents keep hanging up or providing false information. Show details

Travel credit was stolen

My travel credit was used without my any order. Asked them and nobody could help! Lousy services, oh! No! It is no service at all..

Dont put your credit card number on booking.con as you may face deduction like my travel credit with no reason.

False discounts

Used a couple of times went o.k.
Bought tickets to a concert and they offered a 15% discount to book accommodation through them. No discount applied and tried their customer service which was no help. When you don't honour your advertisement that's the last time I'll use the service. Way too many companies out there offering better services Show details

Price Match not honored!

Booked Hotel, found a price for 200 less, two days later on the same website! Sent info to booking.com Bookings were both in AUD and once you book it is converted to euro. Customer service advised because the booking is not in euro they cannot price match! Also have had other problems with payments made too early, extra charges (100.00) added to room cost- which was meant to be a free upgrade. Keep an eye on payments when using booking.com Show details

Not a good experience

In April I booked a holiday property in Bendigo,, Newly Renovated Victorian Towhouse at 48 Garsed Street, Bendigo through Booking.com. The terms and conditions were free cancellation. Within a few minutes I received a text message asking for another credit card. As the money was taken out of my account immediately on booking, I was unhappy with the request and cancelled the booking the same day. The property is managed by the CosmoGroup Managed. To date I have not been able to get a refund.

Dodgy Business Practices

I have used Booking.com exclusively for years and been very happy with it. Lately however they are practicing dodgy business. They advertise rates and conditions, take your money and then move the goal posts. I booked a “Free Cancellation” hotel only for them to say they can not honour this condition.
I will get my money back as I will dispute this with my credit card for false advertising. I won’t be using Booking.com again though. Show details

My worst experience ever

My flight was preponed by two hours and I will be unable to board the flight as I had a connecting flight. They consider it a minor change, so I cannot avoid the airline cancellation charges. They cannot tell me how much money I will receive until they cancel my ticket. Show details

No humans to assist if things go wrong

I had an issue booking an airport taxi and tried to contact their customer services. I sent all info they required and they kept sending me the same stupid scripted email requesting the info I had already sent. This cycle lasted 4 or 5 email until I gave up and requested the transaction to be reversed by my bank. It is I M P O S S I B L E to speak to anyone in this company. Poor customer service

I have been loyal to this booking website for many years and they upgraded my level to Genius 3. However, I decided to move to another provider due to their poor customer service. I left with no help when I needed it. I rented a car in Japan for 10 days. After booking completion, I received an email from booking .com stating you need to have an international permit to be able to drive and I did not have one. So I decided to cancel the booking. However, the company changed me for 3 days and when I asked booking.com to step in and help they easily said that you had accepted the term and there is nothing we can do about it. Honestly, I expected more support from them.

Don’t use Booking.com

Do NOT use Booking.com site! Where do I start! The App it didn’t register some of my accommodation bookings and it hasn’t been easy to cancel accommodation when plans changed, I have also had problems just trying to login. It illegally took money out of my account when I had already cancelled my accommodation well before the dates and don’t bother trying to contact Booking.com as they make it impossible to contact them and when you finally find out how they don’t reply to your emails or complaints, they just take your money it was impossible to resolve my issue.
Also I meet a Lady who had a problem with Booking.com when she was stranded overseas in regards of a flight booked thru them

Awful company

My account was hacked and holidays were booked under my account. When I called I received the worst customer service I have ever received. One guy started laughing when I asked for his name, one young girl pretended she didn’t speak English. I’m still in shock, what an awful company. Show details

One funny thing I noticed with booking.com. Might line up with the many experiences of reviewers here, about booking cancellations. I tried to book direct with a number of Singapore hotels and could not, because they were all booked up. An example is Somerset Bencoolen. My fault for last minute booking of accommodation. Then I went onto booking.com and voila, those hotels were shown as "available". I wonder why that is. A delay in communication between hotel and booking.com ? If I had booked through booking.com, no doubt the booking would have been cancelled due to the fact that the hotel itself was showing no vacancy on its own website. Or else the booking date would have changed to a time when the hotel had vacancy. Then money would have been taken out of my account no doubt, even with the cancellation on their part. It was for 14 days so well over $4000. Thank goodness I read reviews first before committing that amount of money. Thank you everyone, Your efforts have paid off by preventing more people from falling into this hole.
