Booked an apartment at Midtown Apartments (appt 310) for 2 adults and 3.75 year old..
Property advertised as clean, with pool access, dryer, looking the goods and reasonable price.
Arrived and had to spend an hour cleaning the surfaces so we could eat and feel like we weren't licking the last customers bum.
The place was filthy.
Hadn't been cleaned between stays, dirt on the floors, crap on the carpets, broken oven and microwave.
Complained to Booking, to Readyset apartments and nothing. All they want is to keep asking me for images and video that I've already sent them both..
I had to rebook my flight with booking.com (gotogate) and was told I had to pay a fee. Fine, I had expected that. But the flight details on the reissued ticket were incorrect so I panicked and called them back. The person I spoke to offered to refund the fee ($450) which I thought was nice but strange that it was so easy. It has been 4 months now and I still have not received that refund. I did try making a booking at booking.com saying they will respond on a date given to me and within24 hours of booking if the owner did not respond its l expired and considered my booking is unsuccessful as a consumer I find it’s ridiculous and unfair to to your customer you should be transparent to them and not giving a last minute response it’s not professional and please be real in your price indicated in your website to all customer! Don't book with booking.com!! After the airline cancelled my flight, I called my car rental company to explain I'd be late, and was assured this would be fine, but on arrival discovered that booking.com had cancelled my booking due to late pick-up. Hertz assured me booking.com would 'definitely' refund my payment, but I discovered that despite all of booking.com's advertising stating they have 24/7 service, they don't actually have a phone number, and hours of searching led only to disconnected numbers, and the chat service was an AI bot sending nonsensical email responses. Raised dispute and not reply. Hotel booked went into liquidation, yet bookings still took payment.
The make it difficult to find a direct contact number in there customer service. I am yet to locate the number

Issues with airport booking
I live 14 kms from the airport but due to an early flight, booked a hotel close to the airport so I could walk should an Uber not be available. Turns out the hotel’s shuttle service does not run at the time in the morning and I would not be able to walk to the airport as the airport was further away from the airport than advertised. It would also require crossing a number of major roads in the dark. I have a screen shot of the booking.com page that supports this. Had I known the true distance, I would not have booked.

I requested a change of date (as a cancellation would be at full cost) and there was no leniency despite the issue with the distance at booking. Very disappointed with the lack of concern over the consequences of this error and the lack of flexibility to fix it.

I booked a flight for 4 people and paid 2200 AUD. When we arrived at the airport we realized the flight has been cancelled, without notifying us. We had to pay double the price for new tickets with another airline.
Then I asked for a refund from booking.com. it's 2 months now and I have contacted them 13 times. Every time they say we escalate the issue to support team. But nothing happens. very irresponsible.

Wrong Hotel Information
Booking.com is not to be trusted , after trying their service many times in the hope it may improve and be slightly correct with their hotel descriptions I was again convinced never to use this platform ever . The last stay at the Hope Island Motel was disgusting. Booking.com clearly states the following. Wii Fii free , free breakfast , rooms cleaned , Pool view none of this was ture and we never received the above in fact it was so bad the hotel could not find our booking and the manager said they are no longer with Booking.com and do not recognize Booking.com so we had no room
What a joke , Booking.com should and will be held responsible. I will not give up this time at getting this company of the web.
False information regarding accomodation
I found the accommodations at the last place I booked through Booking.com shockingly disgusting, to the extent that I could not stay there. Despite selecting it based on seemingly positive reviews on Booking.com, my experience was far from the described standards. The place was not only dirty but also emitted a strong and unpleasant odour. Describing the numerous issues I encountered would be exhaustive, but what's most disheartening is the apparent lack of recourse to address these concerns directly with anyone from Booking.com. I booked flights via the Booking.com app and made an error with the dates. I tried to cancel the booking within 1 minute and after 40 minutes talking to a chatbot I made contact with a customer support person. After many attempts requesting a refund and after the airline cancelled my reservation it is now over 6 weeks without an outcome. Hacked profile and lost Genius status
For more years than I can remember I always used booking.com for my local, interstate and overseas accommodation requirements with no issues and some great support when needed.
In early November 2023 I noticed two bookings on my account and then my email address was changed, locking me out of my account.
In less than a couple of hours I managed to contact the support call centre who promptly flagged my profile as compromised.

Fast forward to late November 2023 after many calls, it seems this is not correct and that my loyalty to this booking service is back to square one as they now refuse to reinstate the status of my old account. I booked 2 rooms last night at Night Cap @Macquarie Inn Dubbo. I was very disappointed at the dirty rooms. The bathrooms floors needed a good scrub, the toilet was dirty, the toilet brush had a broken handle.There was dirt and grit on the carpets. We made 3 bookings for Milan and surrounding areas yesterday for the second week in August with the free cancellation option. Almost immediately the money was transferred from our account.
It went to Booking Experiences Amsterdam NLD. Just need to know if this is genuine or was I scammed? I sent three emails about each tour to Booking.com last night enquiring about this… no answer. Today have been on the phone for nearly 3 hours… transferred to supposed specialists, got cut off three times and the fourth still no resolution and will be contacted within the next 48 hours. Why is it so difficult to get an answer????? We go to Europe on the weekend and I have made all our hotel reservations through Booking.con and this is the first problems we have encountered. I’m sorry I can’t answer for your situation, all I can say is my booking cancellation was not honoured , I’ve spent months trying to communicate, I have emails saying I would get a refund, that was eight months ago, they are a disgrace.
Booking.com is a scam
They are legal scammers. Office of Amsterdam is original and genuine but the genuine office is scamming people with its hundreds of scammers. If you call them they will put you on hold for minimum 15 minutes.
