My car was running perfectly until I filled it with BP diesel (I never let the tank get below one quarter full) The car was hard to start next morning and stalled often. My mechanic found water in the tank and it cost me several hundred dollars to fix. I completed a claim form, sent it to BP and it was denied, because they state that they don't sell contaminated fuel! I will never buy from them again
BP Rewards is not good enough?
The rewards you get is equivalent of spending $30-$50 on Premium fuel to claim x2 points per litre for a reward of 30-50c. Pretty much works out for every $1000 you spend, you get $10 (I think). Heck, my Flybuys gives me bonuses of 2000pts ($10) when I spend only $70 on shopping? If you go to Subway and spend $10-$15 you get as close as 30-50c for your rewards. That is three times better or more than BP Rewards? The bonus sometimes doesn't get added to your account until you ring their Customer line and claim those points providing evidence of ...receipt for fuel purchase? There is no option on the BP Rewards App for 'Transaction'? So my review on BP Rewards is very accurate, it only suits interstate Truck drivers who spend $500-1000 a week on Fuel? As for the average Joe like myself it is a slow climb to build a good BP rewards.
I joined BP Rewards as soon as it opened. I linked my Qantas points & accepted all offers for additional points frequently & swiped my card each time I went to a BP service station. However, when I just checked online there are no Qantas points or BP points, even though my receipts say I have 1252 points. When I emailed in BP Rewards wrote 2 ridiculous replies in very poor English saying my account was not linked to Qantas, even though I sent in screen shot evidence that it was. You can't get hold of anyone on the phone to assist. Messag...e says "high call volumes" & you are put on hold for hours. This is a total rort. Pls note there is also fine print on the receipts that says the points expire in a few months...so if you don't keep on top of this you lose ALL your points. I don't want to publish my name but if BP Rewards wants to contact me to actually resolve the issue my Rewards card no is 9311661 00289004073.
BP Plus appears to be a rort
My credit card it 'attached' to my BP Plus account.
I lost my credit card and had it replaced.
2 weeks ago received a text from BP informing me that payment of my account had been 'dishonoured' and my account had been locked.
Realised what had happened and got into my BP on line account and updated the credit card details and email details. Account was locked.
Immediately answered a previous email from BP explaining what had happened. Nil response.
At the same time copied that email into the 'contact us' functionality on the BP on line accoun...
Unable to contact BP 1 hour wait on a phone call, no reply online
Very very very disappointing service, lack of personal to deal with a problem,, online and buy phone calls,, a real joke
Very poor customer service
being kept on hold for over an hour each time I ring, I have to hang up as I just can't wait on the line that long. Running a business and trying to update cards. Can't use the portal as it says it will email me a link and none come. Emails have been sent and still waiting (first one sent 4 weeks ago and one this week) for a response. There is no email to say how long they will take to respond. How quick to require payment but how slow to give any kind or service. 1 star is overly generous
Neosurf are nothing but Legitimate Scammers
Neosurf, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I've had a case open since the 26th Jan. Initially [Name Removed] was handling the case, but subsequently, I was flicked to [Name Removed]. All through your Zendesk email case.
What on earth is your agenda? Since the 26th January, I've been trying to get through the verification ID check in order to transfer money (from a neosurf voucher purchased from a BP gas station) to my Australian bank account. You simply find this such an overwhelming task. verification keeps getting rejected and still not c...omplete and you keep rejecting ID verification documents with lies. Blatant lies. "Our international verification check rejected your document". First excuse was that my bank statement was not in colour, even though it was supplied exactly as downloaded from my online banking account. Your excuse - "it's not in colour". Well, guess what, why don't you check with the bank? They don't issue "colourful" statements. Second attempt, another bank statement, this time in colour, was supplied. Again it was rejected. The response from [Name Removed] was "the document was not in colour". You lying scumbags. You are obviously coming up with excuses as to why documents are not legitimate because behind the scenes, your agenda is to collect as much personal information about an individual so you can use it to your advantage. I still have the Neosurf voucher purchased from the Gas station (know as BP in Australia). [Name Removed] has not responded to my latest email and it looks like Neosurf believes ignoring customers will have them crawl into a corner and give up.
JUST USELESS COMPANY
paid my account the put my account on hold ring them to unclocked it 2 hours later no luck to ge trough to them
Hours on Hold
I have spent Hours on hold trying reactivate our 6 BP cards after our credit card was compromised. After numerous BP plus online request and 6 phone calls that your average an hour on hold for they still can’t help. There customer service people are unable to do anything and assure you they will get someone to contact you but after 5 weeks I give up. Bp can stick it and I’ll never use them again.
My credit card updated. I changed the details online. Takes 3 days? in the meantime a bill came and naturally it didnt process. I have then made a manual payment and updated my details again. Next DD and same result. Again charged $50 late payment fee. Queried it. Made a manual payment again to then have BP DD my account so now I am in credit and have no access to the cards since 23/12 as my account has a lock on it ??
I had to supply credit card statements to confirm my card changeover to verify this issue. I did. Then I have had credit file e...
BP Plus Do Not Call Their Customer Service
I called BP Plus to change my card PIN number. The letter received with the card said my existing PIN would work (this was not the case). After 1 hour 30 mins on the queue I dropped off ~12pm to 1:30pm. From my experience they do not have customer service and I wonder if they even have anyone answering the phones.
We cancelled our credit card, and tried to change our payment of our BP Plus card. It didn't work so we tried calling to change it to bank payments until new cards arrived. They kept charging our credit card and then a $50 dishonour fee, suspended then cancelled our card. But not once did they return a phone call or email, even through the account "Contact US."
Rewards redemption needs work.
Rewards are great but if they cancel the transaction after you accept the reward you lose the reward. I've lost a lot due to incompetent console operators.
Poor customer service
Poor customer service I rang few times 1300130027 to check bp gift cards balance but ended up to cancel the call because It’s always more than an hour wait and still no one answered the call. I emailed also but no response.
Very bad fuel quality. Bike started stalling after fill up
Filled up at my local BP today and used 95 as specified for my Bike. Literally after 2kms down the road engine started shaking, popping and then stalled. I coukd re start but would stall the moment i tried to pull away.
Tried calling BP but no one answers. Never had this problem before and double checked that i did put 95 in so no mistake with fuel type or grade. Bike is only 3 years old and no issues.
Going back to servo to sort out....probably damaged the engine with very bad fuel
Appalling customer service and product offering
Monthly statements are incorrect with transactions from previous month included which make them redundant from a taxation point of view, appalling customer service on the phone and by email (if they answer them) and 1/2 QFF points are not credited as they should ... and they never can or willing to do anything to correct their mistakes. One of my worst business experience ever!
No customer service on card
Have rang a number of times about my card and always experienced a very long wait including now at over one hour. Each time I have asked about the rewards I haven't received I was informed that the person responsible wasn't available and I would get a call back. No such luck.
Worst customer service
I applied for a fuel card for my business. I was told it would take 2 weeks. It took well over 6 weeks and I had to chase them up numerous times. I provided every document they asked for so I was at a loss as to why it was taking so long. When I did finally get to speak to someone I was told the person who handles the card sign ups went on holiday, so it would be done when he got back. I was astounded and found it extremely hard to believe that they rely on the one person to do the card sign ups. When the card did finally arrive, it had the wro...ng name on the card and it was for the wrong fuel type. It took me weeks to get in contact with someone from bp to get this rectified and I had had to wait another week for a new card to arrive. Now since receiving the card and using it, the card settings are incorrect. I have been trying for 2 months to get in contact with bp. I have emailed every contact I can find and called every number I can find and no one ever answers the phone and my emails are ignored. I cannot believe how bad bp are to deal with, their customer service is absolutely pathetic. If you can avoid using them do so.

Beware of BP Rewards Australia
I was enticed to re-fuel at BP because of a BP Rewards promotion, running between Dec 2020 to Jan 2021, which compounds bonus points with multiple transactions.
During the promotional period, I scanned my card at a BP Store, but I later noticed I was not given any points on my account. I emailed the BP Rewards team, who asked me to go back to the store and get them to re-print the receipt. An annoying thing to have to do, but I did it anyway. The store manager (who was lovely to deal with) apologized and said there had been an issue on the da...y. But he took the time to find and re-print my receipt. Having done what BP Support told me to do, I scanned and sent a copy to them. However, they have now let me know that despite my efforts, they cannot backdate bonus points. They instead suggested I keep re-fueling to earn more points, because the offer hadn’t expired yet... thanks. So basically, I was sent on a wild goose chase and wasted a bunch of time to be told that I wouldn’t be receiving the bonus points I was entitled to (as per the promotion). If you’re a member of BP Rewards Australia I advise you to keep an eye on the points you’re earning - particularly bonus points - you may be getting cheated out of some. Personally, I’ll be avoiding BP going forward.
BPPlus is a rip off
I was charged multiple dishonour fees on my account despite the fact that I had removed the card they were charging from my account and made manual payments.
Planning on making a compliant to the financial services ombudsman
Questions & Answers
Why would the attendant at the logic centre near wodonga want me to move my car so it was facing the shop? I had been waiting for 10 minutes for a pump with diesel to come available on one side and the gave up and reversed into one on the other side because there was no sign of the other drivers returning. Thoughts?
"Where my prize is" delivered Waybill 1225055661 to my address 38 Northstead street Karrinup and said no one home so to pick up at BP Karrinyup. I went to the BP outlet at Dural where the price was $1.579 per litre. I found this ridiculous. So I checked the prices nearest to me and found BP at Aiken Rd, West Pennant Hills and North Rocks at $1.349. This reflected a difference of 23c per litre or $13.80 on a 60 litre tank. Yet these outlets are within kilometres of each other. I do not know of any other sector where the same company has such differentials in prices.
Please explain these differences. If no reply received by 12h00 on 15 September this matter will be pursued through the ACCC
