Braemar Ecostar Gas Wall Furnaces Questions & Answers
VerifiedAll lights flash once, then it shuts off. What is the problem?
the unit turns on, stays on for a couple minutes and then turns off, the fan doesnt turn on
Hi Kelly, Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Ecostar WF30 wall furnace. If the unit turns on briefly and then shuts off — and the fan doesn’t activate — it could indicate an issue with the fan motor, thermostat, or safety controls. For safety and to avoid further damage, we recommend having it checked by an authorised service technician.
Could you please email us at seeleysocial@seeleyinternational.com with your unit details, including the serial number, location, and your preferred contact information? That way, we can assist you more efficiently.
My Bremar W25NG wall furnace heater starts up ok when cold and runs for 10 mins - everything seems to be good and doing its thing - but then after 10 mins the fan just stops and no hot air comes out of vents ? It seems when the unit heats up it wants to shut the motor fan off and play up ? Could this be a ventilation problem with the system in not letting harmful carbon monoxide fumes out the duct & cowel on roof ?

We have a WF2000 40N we have had it in our rental for 10-12 years and it has always had issues with the flame going out constantly. We usually have it on 3- 4 max and have to relight multiple times a day. Have had many plumbers look at it and the say there is nothing wrong with it.
Get it looked at by someone from Braemar. Otherwise 10-12 years is an adequate life span of an appliance. Have it replaced.

Trying to work out on the control knob for temperature which is 1 - 7 which number would be about 18 - 20 degrees, Thanks for any suggestions
Hi Amanda Here is a rough guide as to what temperature each setting heats to: 1=13oC 2=17oC 3=21oC 4=25oC 5=29oC 6=33oC 7=37oC
These temperatures are affected by the ambient temperature of the controller so it may not be 100% accurate.
Thank you for your reply
Is there a way to fix the heater if there is a crack in the heat exchange or do we have to replace the heater completely? It’s only 13.5 years old.
Hi Natsmum, you will see I've also responded to your review on this product. There is a chance your unit can be repaired if it passes a negative pressure test. Please email us at seeleysocial@seeleyinternational.com and provide your full name, contact details, address and serial number. We will then be able to arrange a service call to test your unit and possibly repair it for you.
Hi, Thanks for your reply. Alas, we pulled the heater out 10 days ago. Decided not to replace it and use our reverse cycle instead. Definitely not as warm as the gas heater, but as we’d been quoted $3000 to replace it, chose to make more wall space and save that money.
Hi Nat, not a problem at all. Wish you all the best with your new system.
I'm renting a property with a braemer wall furnace. My teenager was asked to turn it off today and turned it all the way off.
The function know is very worn and I don't know where to position the know to relight the pilot.
Can anyone help?
I think you would turn it to pilot and press the red knob a few times till you hear it light up.
Except there is no indication where 'pilot' is. No writing or symbols. It has all worn off. I have a green line on the knob, the knob shape its self and a black line someone has drawn on the area around the knob.
What is the most cost efficient way to use a Braemar WF30N wall furnace, as it only has 2 star gas energy rating
Well I am no expert but we run ours on number 2 setting .It comes on and off intermittently rather than belting out heat on a higher setting.
Thank you for your suggestion, that's what I have been doing lately. Started off using no. 3 but have turned it to 2 now. I guess when it comes on & off it means it is at the temperature that no. 2 or 3 for example is set for. Thanks for your help.

Recently the regulator on my gas meter was upgraded due to me getting an instant gas hot water service BUT now my pilot light is burning furiously in my Braemar wall furnace. Is there any way to lower the amount of gas that is released to the pilot on the heater? I assume that a plumber would have to do it but is it possible?
My gauge to pilot light says off but allows me to turn it on and it is still blowing out warmth.
I had a WF 25 LPG installed and it ran well for 4 months , but now I have had the techo. out to it twice ,because it fills with condensate and shuts down. Apparently a common issue with them and if this is so , why haven't they been recalled to rectify the fault ? Gary
I had turned lt on many times, but struggled a lot. Four days ago my child turned heater's power switch off accidentally. Since then we kept trying to turn it again, but failed. I followed all the instructions written on the heater. But useless. Can anyone advise me how to turn it on again. Thanks

IMPORTANTIf for any reason your heater experiences,,a POWER FAILUREthe "Pilot Flame" isTURNED OFF, or GOES OUT, a period of up to5 minutes is required for the heater to reset. If the heater has not reset, the"Gas control knob" will NOT turn easily.PLEASE DO NOT FORCEDamage to the mechanism may occur
Issue with the red lights, and green e button light flashing. I turn the heater on, and sometimes it works (has always turned off & on again regularly after only being on for a short time, and never blows out hot air…only warm) but now it just keeps turning off completely and the lights flash. The unit is 2 years old. I don’t understand why it won’t work, and what the flashing is trying to tell me? I hate this heater! (Ecostar Model: WF25N)
The gas control knob has jumped up out of its position. How to get it down so I can turn my heater on?
It turns on, the lights are on, but it won't blow hot air? Please help
Can I get a gas fitter to Change the WF2000 from LPG to natural gas jets and what would be worth just a rough price please Thanks
