Good Iron with good steam, however cant hold its drink – The iron Heats up and temperature control is fantastic. the amount of steam output is very generous and gives my clothes a great iron. However, about 10 minutes into using it, there is the occasional uncontrollable leak that made two of my shirts all wet and made a mess of everything. Completely over rated – I purchased this iron after reading many good reviews... but ... it is heavy and bulky to use, doesn't heat up well, and constantly makes annoying gurgling noises during ironing. Does the job without any issues – It's lightweight and gets the job done. Myself and my housemates all use it with no issues and no complaints. No reported leakages, heats up quickly, and goes into "sleep mode" automatically when left on, which is a helpful safety feature. Best Iron Ever – This is the best iron I have ever owned. I mainly use the iron for business shirts. The reason this is the best iron is the steam function works the way it should. On other irons, when you lower the steam setting you get water dripping out the bottom because the heat in the iron can't turn it to steam. On the Braun it doesn't happen at any level. Lovely clean design, solid iron – This is a beautiful iron, if one can say that about an iron! It is German and like so many german designed thing its good at everything it does. Its weighty in the hand but that's a good thing when dealing with thicker fabrics. It has gallons of steam when selected and holds the set temperature every evenly. Well designed iron – There is nothing particularly remarkable about this iron, it is just does a good honest version that does everything well. Solid heavy base, auto shut off, swivel type plug end and very, very powerful steam. The surface features and multi layered anodised coating. Nice "proper" iron – This is a beat iron. Unlike all those cheapies , it actually feels like a properly made iron and has enough quality metal in it to hold an even temperature. Top iron - good bargain – I got this last week in a special sale and I must say, its a pretty dandy iron! It has a quality feel that my old Kmart one certainly didn't. It is very temperature stable and is solid in the hand. I did cotton shirt first and it was like silk! So smooth to use.
