were quite worried when the house was being built that it would be very time consuming especially considering my wife and I both work. We needn't have worried they looked after everything. The whole process was enjoyable and the house was completed exactly when we were told it would be. This was important because we were selling our house.

We have now been in the house for 3 months and couldn't be happier. The quality of the build is out of this world and the house is exactly how we envisaged it. When they handed over the house they gave us a sheet to log any defects so they could get them fixed within the first 6 months. The sheet is still empty.

Thanks to everyone at Broadway you have exceeded our expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Broadway Homes to anyone looking to build.

We were so lucky to have been referred to Broadway Homes, and we were even luckier to have had Pete and Tim oversee the entire project. They were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. From the beginning in designing plans that fit the land which they helped us find, colours, materials and providing professional insight into what will work and what will not made us not have to worry about a thing - they took complete control and kept us informed every step of the way!

Hard to believe, however we did not have one frustration, issue or hold up - the build was completed earlier than we thought - even the bank couldn't believe it! The quality of the finished product was nothing short of perfect! And as for the budget - we did not go one cent over what was quoted!

The interior stylist Rachael helped me with tile & flooring selections - so easy. Then the actual build. Tim, the supervisor was amazing. He made everything relatively stress free & went above and beyond - he is truly one of a kind. He supported me all though this build helping me find trades for the extra things I wanted done. Sorting out things that were definitely not up to him but made it easier for me - a real gem that one - he deserves a raise. was a guy who would solve problems with resolutions, who became like a friend to us to deal with not having dealt with a building supervisor before was welcoming. The completion of both two storey houses took 12 months from slab down to finish which was impressive. The biggest pain was waiting for council approvals which did take over six months. The two individually designed houses was a challenge for both parties to suit our requirements, budget and to make them fit on the subdivided blocks. Which was great to see them constructed by a competent builder like Broadway Holmes. The salesguy was fantastic & as soon as we saw his design it was clearly a far better design than the other builders, with much more thought put into the layout of the house. They were slightly more expensive but once you considered the differences (sarking below the roof tiles, good quality kitchen appliances, clay roof tiles etc etc) they actually worked out to be the better alternative.

During the initial planning/approvals phase our sales guy constantly kept in touch with us - we never needed to chase him as he was always prompt with his updates and everything came through ahead of his estimated timeframe. He was proactive in being aware of new council changes coming in which saved us the entire development approval stage by delaying putting our application in by two weeks (saving us $2.5k in council fees and 8-12 weeks waiting for approval). He also proactively warned us of the massive ($10k estimated) jump in demolition fees for jan 2015 and thanks to him we managed to get our old house demolished just before this happened.

The interior decorator was great - with three young kids we barely had time to look at anything but in the free 3hr consult with her we chose everything easily and I am still very happy with my choices - it would've taken me hours of indecision on my own.

Prestart was probably the only thing which we found slightly disappointing - it seemed to take forever. However my husband did have multiple complex electrical needs & we were disorganised with our lighting choices so this is was probably our fault.

The build was amazing. It was actually fun and enjoyable. Until the last few weeks when things slowed down, there was only two days where there wasn't action on the block. Everything went smoothly, the neighbours were kept happy, the site was kept very clean. For a very large single storey house our timeframe was 28 weeks from slab poured to keys in hand which we were very impressed with. From signing the PPA to getting the keys was 1yr 1 month pretty much exactly (& we probably lost a month with prestart due to messing around with lighting/electrical stuff which could've been avoided).

I'll reserve my final compliments for our site supervision who was seriously the best part of the entire build. He was such a nice, approachable guy. Nothing was too much hassle & his communication was excellent. We really never had cause to complain as the build ran perfectly, but when we did raise any questions he was very approachable to explain what was going on. It was usually him calling us to update us, rather than us calling him for an update. Everyone in the neighbourhood constantly commented on how quickly the whole thing was happening. We had two independent inspections during and after the build and they complimented Broadway on the quality of the build. Once we moved in to the house, he has still been just as approachable and any minor queries or issues we have had he has instantly replied and sorted for us which is well above and beyond what I ever expected.

All up we have two friends who have built with Broadway and raved about them, and with our experience with them I cannot recommend a better builder. With three young kids, we really did not have the time or energy to build a house, but left in Broadway's hands they pretty much designed & built the perfect house for us with minimal effort from us!

throughout the whole process. A standout for me was the custom design we wanted to build, that’s suit our lifestyle and is very much fitting within our budget, without making any compromises.

The pre-start lady was absolutely wonderful and helped us a lot in the decision making. We had four pre-start meetings before we finalised everything. We were very much welcomed every time we approached them for guidance and variations/changes.

Unlike other builders who don’t encourage direct contact with senior management, Broadway is very unique. We met and spoke to their Sales Manager for our final plans (he himself designed minor sections of our home where we were looking for suggestions). We get to talk to the Construction manager directly regarding the timeframes, he shared his mobile number with you to discuss progress to date. We spoke to the principal as well to convey our Thank you.

We found everyone at Broadway good-natured.

The best part was, the site supervisor and construction manager were very approachable. Always willing to make themselves available for follow-up meetings as and when requested. Discussed progress in detail with us and always had an action plan to address any of our concerns. Our two storeys home was completed in 11 months (from slab pour to keys handover) and the home stands out.

I really admire Broadway’s extensive understanding of the building industry. Also to mention their flexibility, knowledge & honesty made our experience more pleasant.

They love what they do and hence they do it right. If we were to build again I would definitely build with Broadway Homes.

but I didn't realise how deceptive until after I signed with them (if a sales rep doesn't want to give you proper plans drawn up by their draftsman for one reason or another- run for the hills!!) It was a costly exercise but it was the best thing I ever did as I found the right builder for me through Broadway and haven't looked back. In all they have been wonderful to work with from start to finish.

I was attracted to their functional floor plans and value for money. Then my sales rep (Nick) was always upfront and professional to deal with, nothing was too big or too small to change, prestart girls were lovely and very helpful throughout the whole build, and then there was a bit of a delay on getting me the final paperwork and slab down, but then the rest of the build was quite transparent and went relatively as smoothly as can be expected. Even changeovers between site supervisors appeared seamless and they were all very hands on, easily contactable, professional and passionate on building a quality house that met industry standards. They seemed to use good trades at each stage as I was very happy with the quality of the workmanship throughout the build.

The final product was 2 months behind schedule but in all I would highly recommend Broadway for their value for money, quality of build and professional honest service. I was exceptionally impressed with how professional and passionate all their staff were at every stage of the build to make sure my expectations were met on this build. Now I am in and over the moon with how my dream home has come out!! My final word of advice to first home buyers is to question everything that you feel doesn't sound right as your gut instinct is usually correct. As it can be up to the builder you choose that makes it or breaks it. Good luck!

Worth the wait – Cannot fault the excellent customer service received before, during and after the build. No query was too difficult to handle, everything was dealt with in a prompt, professional manner. Despite delays in the process, the final product has been absolutely worth the wait. We couldn't be happier, would do it again, and have recommended the service to friends and family. Really happy with the quality of fixtures.

Then I met Nick Price from Broadway Homes at one of their display homes. The guy spoke 'human' and said it the way it is. He listened to what I wanted and understood what I needed. He spelled the estimated costs out... but also explained that BH is a business. They need to make money. They can't offer all the thrills and spills of some competitors because they do not cut corners in building their homes. They take pride in each home that they build. They use their own people they trust and if that means the build takes a bit longer so be it.

Anyway that sold me.

No I wasn't going to get any freebies ( though I did try) but I was sure the end result would be a smile on my face. The build took about 11 months. I was promised 8-10 if all planets aligned and no hickups were experienced. From day one I was given the site supervisor's mobile telephone number in case I had any queries at anytime... a huge plus in my trust levels. As expected Bill Vitalli turned out to be the Master Builder he is.

Good tradies follow great Supervisors. End of story. That's how great homes are built.

I could keep going but won't. Everyone at BH I came across were great to deal with at every stage of my build. That is from Admin, Finance to Sales and Design. applied for their money. "That is the only time they communicate unless you chase them". They are certainly not organised (As you will never receive a schedule of construction) and well don't get me started on transparency.

We are coming up on a year, and we are a long way away from lock up, especially at the current rate of progress. We were told to allow 8 to 10 months for the construction, which started 11 months ago, the first floor is still not finished and the ground floor has barely begun.

The site is a mess and has been since day 1, they have been penalised by the shire for the for their lack of housekeeping, but the only rectification they did was put a skip bin at the front which slightly helped, I am amazed no one has had an accident or the local kids have not been impaled with the steel rods that are strewn everywhere and have been for several months.

number of things we had priced for prestart such as glass kitchen cupboard door fronts ended up being out of our price range so we simply went back to standard specification. Our block was by no means an easy location, slight slope and very difficult to access in built up area and tight for space, but this did not worry the builder and they have always been positive despite the fact that other builders at the height of the boom were saying no to even talking because of the access issues. Personalised service and friendly attitude of all the staff we have dealt with even since signing on to build. Flexible, positive, can do attitude when queries are raised. Excellent standard inclusions such as shower heads on rails, soft closing drawers, horizontal balustrade, paving to front door, etc. Plus, really listened to what our needs were and changed the floorplan to suit, but also considerate of what our budget limitation was. Worked with our restrictive council from the beginning - pre PPA stage, so as to limit suprises/ issues post PPA. Nothing so far. We are half way through construction now. Wouldn't call time taken quick, but I guess quality takes time.

Always friendly and extremely helpful thoughout the whole construction process. We read the previos bad comments and think these people must be on a different planet! Our new home was completed in Nedlands in early August, ahead of schedule and with no extra costs. Although we are yet to move in, the quality is outstanding and we couldn't be happier. [name removed] still replies promptly to my emails and has given advice and service that he is not required to do as officially his job was complete some time ago. It might be rare to hear but I had no problems at all and enjoyed the experience. Service was exemplary and price was very completive. Touch wood, none as yet!

Excellent – Bit shakey at the start but new Management came into play and have been brilliant. Would recomend Broadway without hesitation. quite efficient..... very thorough. wished it was a little cheaper but then again, you get what you pay for!
