Century Pools created a stunning pool - love it ! – Dean was able to achieve the impossible and install an absolutely gorgeous pool in very difficult conditions. I have a very steep block with narrow access, powerlines etc. No one else said it could be done. No after sales service – They put the pool in okay without any problem, but don't expect any help after that if you have a problem, eg your pool is leaking... they won't come to your aid. We have contacted them a few times and they don't follow up.. avoid Show details

Wish I had my time over – Up until all the money had been paid they couldn’t have been more helpful, unfortunately that’s where it ended. of months ago Our filter stopped working properly so we contacted them as it is under warranty and have been given nothing but the run around. We have sent the details they wanted twice, called and sent emails but nothing has been done despite many promises that they would get someone out to have a look, John doesn’t even answer my calls anymore. I have been in retail for many years and have never seen a business ignore a customer like this. I did not write this review lightly as barrier reef have also been a customer of mine, but I would rather lose their business than be treated the the way they have treated us.

What an amazing team!! – From the very first phone call I made to Barrier Reef Pools they were unbelievably helpful and informative. and his team, straight up Dean advised that we could a crane in to lift the pool and the digger in. I was amazed as I thought this wasn't possible. The team he has surrounded himself with, were all so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and just a great bunch of guys. A special mention to Colin, Jesse and Grant they were unbelievable. The pool has been in now for 3 months and as my husband is a Pool Technician himself he is fully aware how much pools can cost to run, our pool is costing hardly anything to run, probably due to the fact that they supply quality filtration and chlorinators. I have recommended Dean and his team to many of my friends and would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Great overall services – This company has gone over and above normal standards. Rain has caused all sorts of issues and problems but Dean and his team at Barrier Pools have done outstanding job in getting pool finished. Even working weekends. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Beautiful pool – I recently had the Olympic 7-meter pool installed. I had many questions being a first-time pool owner but the crew at Barrier Reef were very helpful and answered all of my questions. Mel was super patient as I chose the colours for the pool and tiles and has promptly sorted out minor issues that arose. Thank you Mel. suited us perfectly. Our interaction with Mel in administration was seamless and without stress unlike administration with our builder. Our build supervisor was Dean and from the confirmation of the installation date we were always kept up to date with email or phone calls regarding each stage of the project. The crew for each stage were professional, efficient and really knew what they were doing. We had our pool swim worthy within two weeks from the start. We could not be happier. If you want a great product , a seamless order and build process and quality workmanship then I highly recommend BRP. Thanks everyone!

Poor After Sales Service On Warranty – Barrier Reef Pools Loganholme doesn’t come out when they say they will or communicate with us. They are your installer! We have a fault with the pool in the fibreglass. Show details

Disgraceful pool builder – Dealing with Barrier reef pools in Loganholme QLD has been a ridiculously painful experience. Extremely poor to deal with the entire way and even more atrocious at getting back and finishing the job. being completed last year. On top of this there have been multiple certification issues and nothing but the worst customer service imaginable. Never again and I strongly suggest staying well clear.

Complete disregard for people's time – Canceled and rescheduled at least 8 times in a 2 month period. Started several weeks late and barely did 4 days of work in 6 weeks. Always giving excuses about why they can't make it as promised.  Show details

Barrier Reef Pools Loganholme – I decided to Build my Pool with BRP Loganholme. It was the most horrific experience from any contractor I have ever experienced. was for contract only $21 800, Which I honestly thought was strange and mentioned it. Got told it was how it was meant to be.

During the process of waiting for pool to be scheduled for install as I got promised a date. which never came to be, I asked for extra and minor items to be added. Got ignored for 2 weeks with 0 response. I called there head office, as I was unsure what was going on. This is when I found out all the BRP outlets are just subcontractors to the BRP name. The owner of BRP Loganholme found out I called. I got a phone call basically with threatening words, abusive and down right rude. He said I was throwing his business under the bus and trying to cause trouble. I was ringing to ask what was going on, as I got ignore for weeks. He threatened to Purposely damage my pool and do a bad job, If I did not cancel my contract. I refused to cancel contract, as I wanted my pool before Christmas. 1-2 weeks went on and heard nothing again, Until I got a bill for the Pool shell $32 700. This was confusing to me as it was not on contract. I asked my family and called QBCC and got told, that the deposits mentioned/amount on contract is to be only paid. This is where alarm bells start ringing for me. I ask Barrier reef Loganholme if they could please re do the contract to the correct quoted amount of $54500. I got told from Barrier Reef Loganholme, they will not be doing that. Now my Contract was $54500, but ---The Pool completely installed (with pool equipment, water filled, coping and handover of pool) is $34490 As per quote How can the pool shell alone be $32700??? It was a question I wondered honestly.

I then got told by barrier reef pools Loganholme, "Hi (Name) on the bottom of the quote you will see the terms were 60% of the quote value payable on delivery of the pool shell"

Which is not correct. As my deposit was - $2180 - Excavation $13080.

Barrier reef Loganholme, Refused to deliver the pool, Do any work on my house, Unless I paid them $32 700 before they even arrived to site, to do any work. I tried sorting it out with them, however the conversations were very hostile. I spoke to my partner and we mutually agreed with barrier reef Loganholme to cancel pool. Barrier reef Loganholme, transferred money to account within the hour and a email was sent agreeing to the cancellation.

End result is, I would give Barrier reef Loganholme a - result if I could. Would highly recommend to stay away from them and ensure you check your contract

Great Pool – We love our new pool. Was a quick install and so far so good. The hand over wasn’t with there usual company so there were a lot of things that could have been better explained and the pool wasn’t left clean. But that’s not Barrier Reefs fault. A great experience! – We had nearly given up on our dream of a pool overlooking our valley view. Other companies either refused to quote or quoted huge costs to build. Mel and Dean not only gave a fantastic fixed price quote but managed to install on time as promised before Xmas. Great service, great product, great buying experience. If I had to buy another pool Barrier Reef Pools would be my only call.

Gel coat and will not give warranty, should not get even one star – I had a Barrier Reef Pool installed 3 yrs ago, within 12 months had gel coat issues. Have been given the run around by them, do not even bother to return my calls or emails, they make all these nonsense replies on any review sites that they look after the customer and to contact them. warranty. Consumer affairs are well aware of Barrier Reef Pools selling faulty pools. If someone has a Barrier Reef Pools installed within the last 4 yrs and is giving them a good review, their being paid. WORST of the WORST pool company to deal with. I am having a sign made for my property telling people about the crappy pools they sell.

Professional installation and superior knowledge and expertise – We received our keys to our home 2 weeks b4 Xmas Dean had his team on site on the hand over day dug the pool out and had it install with a week and the associated plumbing and backfilling so the concretor could do all his work around our house prior to Xmas then dean had team complete the next 3 stages after the new year as promised each team… Read more
