THe worst company! NO way to get refund for a flight cancelled by the airline

I would like to give them Zero point. The filght I booked through budgetair was cancelled by the airlines. All my firends booked the same airline got notice and refund. But I got neither notice nor refund. They do not have phont to contact. No respond to the emails. No way to write any word to the chat on their website. This is a worst company in the world ! Show details

DO Not recommend it at all

Never use this [Content Removed]!
After getting the booking conformation and the amount deducted from my bank account to travel after 48 hrs, they have sent another email saying there is a price increase so we wil refund your payment $1400 and will give me a gift for $15
Are you kidding with me?!!!

Dont waster your money, there is no customer support

why this website even allowed in Australia. I asked for refund fo flight an dthey agreed that they will return around $400 but after 5 months when I did follow up they said airline is not providing refund. They are liars, misleading, . Alomost doin and playing with community as they feel. Why they even allowed as business after these many bad reviews. It does feel helpless when comes to contcating them as does not matter what you put cant talk to ab agent. not sure how they are operating. BUsiness model is simply ripping people money with no accountibility or flexibility. Show details

It’s very bad I can not contact them and u can’t write when u chat with them I try book business class to Istanbul half your ticket it’s economy or premium and very hard to find it u have not business class I change it with different airlines and same when go to choose the seats say premium economy, no phone to contact the plus when choosing chat not let u writing it’s scammers Show details

The worst travel agent you could possibly find, It has been 10 months an we are still waiting for our refund. I have even contact Fair Trading Australia and they can not get in touch with them as they are based overseas. We lost our booking money completely. Show details

I would give a -1 if i can

No customer service, only talk on emails, cancels your flight without your consent, will not communicate with you that your flight is cancelled, wants you to look stupid on airport with a ticket that have no itinerary, will may or may not give u refund based on imaginary policy, don’t think having a medical issue is valid grounds for refund, talking to them will feel like you are banging your head on a wall, even chat GPT have better empathy than this agency……

Do not use this company

What a headache. Almost non-existent customer service. Whatever you do if you insist on using this company make sure everything is perfect. Trying to correct a mistake is nearly impossible and may cost you more than the original booking. I've simply given up and booked a ticket on the same aircraft directly with the airline. Show details

Simply vile

Had to book last minute tickets to visit a dying relative. They took my money, confirmed the booking then did nothing so the airline cancelled the tickets. Now they have all my money, will take 2 weeks to get it back and I can't afford to travel now. Thanks. Show details

Get what you pay for...cheap fares, rubbish service, payment fees not refunded

Airline cancelled flight, advised of 8-10 week refund time but that payment fees of AU$75 would not be refunded. I consider this fraud as any other merchants where there are payment fees/surcharges usually refund payment fees when a cancellation or refund takes place. Advised BudgetAir of this but they were not interested. Avoid. Show details

Why do I need to put my passport details in for the automated check-in to retrieve my e-ticket, even if it's a domestic flight? I don't have a passport so I'm not sure what to do and of course their customer service is useless

How can I talk to a real person at budgetair? One of our travellers can’t go anymore and we want to find out if they’re eligible for any refund if we cancel their ticket, but we can’t get past the chatbot! We submitted a contact form on their website a week ago, but no response yet (even though they say they will respond within 5 days). They claim that livechat is available 24/7 but I can’t find any way of accessing it!
