5 Lloyd D.  · Cookies and cream my favourite flavour , diffinately the best ice cream in this flavour I've had.
5 Mel Malhotra  · The best of best Mint Choc Chip Icecream in the world. Both Woollies & Coles run out of stock always keep 2 tubs. Good for tummy & taste
5 Mary  · 2 lt bulla iced latte is fabulous, the mint chocolate and all of them I love esp. when they are $5.50 - thank you Bulla
1 KatieS  · Ice cream lately has become runny. No longer worth buying. Very disappointing.
5 Olioop  · Choc Hazelnut sadness – Devastated the Choc Hazelnut is discontinued! So nice, nothing like it on the market. Such a pity.
1 Bobb  · New Hazelnut flavour – Thought I try out the new flavour " Hazelnut" exclusive to Coles as it was marketed for, one word to describe it absolute "S-IT".

Your icecream is now absolute rubbish.Vegetable oil, water, and a whole lot of artificial ingredients, and emulsifiers, thickeners and raising agents? to hide the water content.I wondered why it tasted so watery.Disgusting.Putrid.Never buying again. Show details

I make a lot of milkshakes and so I need REAL ice cream. The Bulla Creamy Classic is the only one of the popular tubs that is actually ice cream. The other brands used to be ice cream once upon a time, then somewhere along the way they became something else, with not enough milk fat to qualify. For a long time they were branded in a way that… Read more

encouraged you to assume the labels included the words "ice cream", which they didn't. Now, at last, they are required to call themselves "frozen dessert" or somesuch. In a milkshake these non-ice creams turn to ice water. I'll only buy Bulla these days.

Took the lid off a tub of bulla ice cream this morning to make an ice coffee as I do every morning but this time it came off like it had glue between the substance and the lid . As I do with every lid I wash it but this time the substance didn’t melt it just cam off in small pieces. So it’s true what they say about it not having ice cream written… Read more

on it because obviously it’s not so that’ll be the last one i ever buy instead I will now only use fresh cream

We have never had an ice cream that we both could not eat!!!!!! – The Bulla 2 litre hazel nut spread is quite disgusting/inedible. It tastes like chemicals and nothing like hazelnuts. It was suggested that it was off?. Purchased from Coles. I can find receipt if I have to. Show details

Gravel in ice cream! – Found a piece of gravel in the creamy classics ice cream. Told to send in the stone for an 'internal investigation' and to throw away the remainder of a tub. Appaling response from a large company

My favourite, cookies and cream. Just the best icecream available. I'm sure I could graze through a full container then suddenly realised I'd had the lot. Great product. Show details

Mmm Love This stuff!! – This ice cream is SO tasty and is excellent value for money. I have had a bit of a 'thing' for ice cream in the last few years and have tried a few, this one Bulla has the best combination of price and taste in a Supermarket ice cream. My favourite of the moment is the Cookies and Cream (ohhh I want some now!!). The delicious big chunks of cookie… Read more

are a joy to eat and I never want the bowl to be finished! I have only recently been sold on Cookies and Cream thanks to Bulla ice cream. I never used to like it and my children were shocked as I had always avoided it previously. I have since tried several other versions and I will generally only eat the Bulla one now as all the others taste like powdery little bits of charcoal and spoil the vanilla ice cream sourrounding it. The texture and flavour of Bulla ice cream is perfect and lends well to all manner of desserts or on its own e.g. apple pie and vanilla ice cream - yum! It keeps well in the freezer and doesn't get sticky or overly hard. Thanks Bulla.

Save your money. I don't understand why people are bagging Streets Blue Ribbon. Even legally described as a 'frozen dessert' now, it is FAR better than Bulla Creamy Classics Vanilla Ice Cream. The latter has too much sugar, CARAMEL rather than vanilla taste, ICY consistency, nothing CREAMY about it at all - an ice confection if ever there were… Read more

one.

Bulla Creamy Classics Vanilla tastes like an icy '70s Bulla Milky Pop/Streets CARAMEL Paddle Pop, which may be okay for kids. The only reason it doesn't get 1 star is because some cheap 1-star ice creams have a rancid tang to the vanilla flavour, which is even worse than the wrong flavour. Certainly does NOT make you want to go for seconds in either case!

Something not the same. Absolutely disgusting. Creamy classic vanilla Absolutely not the same taste. Flavour less and price up. After years of buying it has changed flavours. Not for me anymore . Don't recommend it. Didn't even use half the tub and in the bin.

I would give ratings -5. Overly sweet. I got sick from 2 spoons of it. Got throat infection from it. I am the type of person to have icecream in Melbourne’s cold and I would never get sick. I tried this bulla salted caramel & vanilla tub in summer, only had 2 spoons. And my throat started hurting in 2 hours. And i was sick by the end of the day.

Horrid – This is a horrendous product and it tastes horrible. The actual ice cream is OKAY at best but when it melts, it tasted like the most aired out piece of garbage. Its like you have whipped cream that was made out of butter and nothing else. Looks like i have to resort connoisseur which is the same price for half the quantity. At least it tastes amazing unlike this garbage. Used to be great but they chose money over making a good product. Show details

The cost of air – Used to be great now it's aerated crap , more profits by aeration it's always been 2 litres tub size by aeration much less icecream ends up in the tub .shrikflation

Bulla is FULLA SH#T – I bought the chocolate ice cream last week and it is absolutely inedible. I'm going to do an experiment and leave it out to see if it melts or just sits in one clump of yuckiness There's no 'creamy'. Why have you taken the cream out of your products? Your chocolate ice cream is absolutely awful now. It wasn't that bad a few years ago but it… Read more

certainly isn't the same product now And your thickened cream. It is runny like milk !

Bulla brand have clearly dropped their standards dramatically.. and very quickly too. This wasn't a typical slow reduction in quality, this was a very obvious switch from high quality to low quality production, for your thickened cream especially. I know I won't be buying your products again, Bulla was fulla cream... but only goodness knows what it's full of now...

Is Bulla Ice cream watered down? – Bulla ice cream has a texture like it is 50% frozen water , there is nothing creamy about it. Maybe it is because I live in Nhulunbuy and the long distance it is freighted has something to do with it. Anyway we are lucky we have Peters ice cream here also they don't seem to have the same problem as Bulla Show details

what have they done to the recipe? – So relived to see so many others questioning what Bulla have done to what was previously a great product. Both the cream and ice cream I purchased to prepare Christmas desserts had a disgusting taste, so disappointing. I wont be buying Bulla products again. Show details

What are we even paying for? – I must say bulla has really gone downhill these days. They can no longer even use the word creamy as their claim to fame. Once the best tasting ice cream you could buy with absolute quality ingredients, is now literal watered down garbage with essence for the flavouring!! just tried the mint chip and was appalled to say the least. Where was the… Read more

actual mint taste?! For all other purposes, I could've been eating just plain vanilla ice cream!! If anything a slight essence of some kind but certainly not mint. The "choc chips?!". Try choc shavings that were absolutely few and far between. I certainly won't be buying this again!! A trip to the local ice creamery, is a far better option as they still believe in quality for the price so a far more enjoyable taste experience!!

Changed the recipe, no longer the best – I am disappointed. Bulla was the only domestic brand ice cream with that old fashioned taste and feel that I adored from childhood years. It was the best and creamiest ice cream!! Its not the same now, and feels like they have done what others do and whip air into it adding volume but removing what makes this ice cream so good. I used to buy the… Read more

2ltr cookies and cream as a standout treat and the 4ltr vanilla as our standard regular because it was the best. A couple of months ago I opened our carton and immediately noticed it was not the same full cream smoothness anymore, bought another in hope I was wrong, but it was just the same cr#p that stopped me buying other brands. Prayed cookies n cream hadnt been tampered with but alas, yesterday we bought some. New packaging and I guess new recipe with same whipped cream nonsense that all the other brands have. Looks like I have to find a new go to.

its not perfect and I can live without it – Purchased a tub of Bulla Vanilla Bean(icecream??)for my daughters birthday party. Shocked to see her gag and spit it out. expired date 2025. Great emetic. Taking it back to retailer for refund as it is not fit for purpose.

Cheap for a reason – Bought the Neapolitan tub and threw most of it out. The Vanilla and strawberry had an unappealing colour and barely any flavour. Basically tasted like frozen flavoured milk and not very creamy. The chocolate wasn't too bad but still not creamy enough. I suspect being a cheap product the cream content is low and it's mainly milk. Much rather the supermarket home brands or Connoisseur. Will never buy this again.

Tastes like too much flavouring has been added – I wish Bulla would leave out or drastically reduce the amount of added 'flavour'. Their ice cream tastes fake to me.

Two spoonfuls and chucked it out – Cookies and cream , Horrible strange taste , far from vanilla , far from enjoyable , I'm extremely disappointed , Chemical fake taste , How can a simple flavour be so wrong ? The foul taste remained in my mouth while I wrote a complaint to them. Show details

The natural fat is left in and not substituted – We buy vanilla and the vanilla/boysenberry. Love them. The closest to real ice cream you can get, although you also get emulsifiers, thickeners, and "flavor?" as well. Ice cream listing veg oil lacks specific detail, and could be toxic seed oil. This shouldn't be in ice cream, but this Bulla tub doesn't contain it. All stick ice cream, including… Read more

Bulla's, has added fats not natural to ice cream, because they remove it to use it for cream, and put back in cheaper veg or processed cheap non-virgin coconut oil. So I stick with Bulla tubs and serve in cones.

The texture of the icecream – My wife is always concerned the quality and the value of a product. I love ice cream and often enjoy to have a small bowl of ice cream after dinner. She bought a Bulla Vanilla Classic tub years ago when it was half price from a grocery store. The silky smooth of the ice cream and the sweetness is not overpowered, the price is also a little cheaper than its counterpart even when it is not on special. Show details

Big Disappointment Bulla Chocolate Hazelnut Ice Cream – No Hazelnut and chocolate flavours. My husband and I thought we could taste an oily flavour through it. You should hire new products tasters because they certainly stuffed up big with this one. Show details

Synthetic and chemical – We purchased the Vanilla flavour. It had a sugary synthetic taste, not like vanilla at all. My partner thought it was coconut, we could not tell it was vanilla, it was like a sweet airy cream, but with a 'sweetener taste', very fake and chemical in the pallet. This was unpleasant and we will steer clear from Bulla Creamy Classics future. Show details
