read their prohibited item list and the Gov website, seems ok, but I still want to make sure so I emailed their support. They responded promptly and able to confirm it could be shipped. I would have thought they would just say they aren't responsible to answer this or simply told me to read the website, but they didn't. Then the registration process and tracking were great, very user friendly. They use Toll as carrier, which also concerned me, but at the end, everything turned out great. Shipped on 4 Oct, arrived on 10 Oct to SA. NSW maybe even quicker. Only downside is they can only ship to home address, and I wasn't home, so needed to pick up from a different location, it isn't too far so it's acceptable. Price is simple and fair. Unlike other shipping companies that measure size as well as weight, they only measure weight.

They will not ship certain "sensitive" items. There is a bit of red-tape involved to get your parcels through all the steps. But, I got my items in good condition without too much hassle, and I may try it again with items from the USA.

Also they do not offer repackaging services like other proxy shipping companies. They ship to you as it is, so you'll need to tell the original sender to pack securely if you can. If you csre anout your parcel, dont use buy and ship – Buy and Ship costs as much as shipping direct from the supplier, and has repeatedly used lthe cheapest local couriers for delivery. excuse is, it's 'peak season'. It's been missing since October. . And this is now a domestic parcel distributor in a major city. Im starting to doubt they are actually using a registered delivery service for the domestic leg of the service. I am beyond frustrated.

And the price is nearly the same as the total if I pay directly to each seller for each international shipping separately. So what's the point to use this site? Also, the so called package combination is literally putting all packages together using an adhesive tape. In the beginning I thought that was a joke. After using their service twice I knew that's exactly how they do things. Additionally the customer service is more like a copy and paste of pre-written answers. They didn't really bother looking into my case. I have been their customer since 2019 and I used their service a few times. But honesty, I would never use their service again.

Buyandship to be rounding the totals up. For some context they are charging $28 for the first 2lb and $12 AUD for every addition 1lb ex GST which means they are accruing an increase of 12$ margin ex GST for every 0.1 lb ove. I had paid 58$ for shipping in total and it is not competitive with other similar forwarders. I will not be using their service again..

claimed my box weighted 18lb but when I got it and weighed it myself, it weighed less so I paid more for that too.

They were also very late to provide my tracking number which I needed & were very rude and unhelpful when I raised my concerns and I was advised if I complained further, they would not release my other items at their warehouse. I am getting my stuff out of there tomorrow and warning everyone I know not to use them.

are processed longer at the Hong Kong depot, this can take up to a week before you get a tracking number - something that you would get from US in less than 2 weeks is now taking close to a month to arrive in Australia! Mind you they still use the same courier to Australia -Toll. To top it off they have increased their fees too. I have started looking for another consolidation company especially after a recent shipment that was late. I don’t know if their service will improve to the standard it once was.

buyandship asked me to make payment so that they can ship the final leg to me. I paid the payment consolidating all three products. Thereafter, the next day I received email from them saying they can't ship sensitive goods such as powerbank and asked if I want to dispose it or ship to a local HK address or engage another courier.

I understand that in their website they have stated cannot ship sensitive goods such as powerbank. Fine, my fault, I didn't read, you can dispose my goods. However why do you require me to make payment to ship to my home then only alert me about this? I asked for shipping refund but they refuse. My point is I don't mind you dispose my goods but not after me making payment where you already know the items as I have declared in descriptions.

Fool me once – The courier used for Australia local delivery is Toll, which has terrible review on Google. Toll drop me a card saying I need to pick up the parcel after checking the status on their website or call them. 1) Toll's tracking web site is completely useless, giving out incorrect information. 2) Call Toll's 13XX number for help. The help desk people said will delver again tomorrow (turn out to be a complete lie....), even give out a confirmatory number. Waited two days, and nothing show up.....

3) Only support from Buyandship is email or online chat, no direct phone call is available. Everyone answer the chat/email replied with a routine just like a robot; it is not their business any more once the parcel is with the courier they contracted.

4) Finally (after 5 days) support came through and tell me where the parcel is actually at. Turn out the parcel was left at a local pick-up point (News Agent), just not register in Toll's IT System.

2 stars because parcel is finally picked up with their help! Would I do it again? .........
