This company operates with no integrity and does not care about its customers.
Bought a refurbished phone which was guaranteed for 6 months. Once we started using it, it did not hold its battery charge for more than a couple of hours. When reported issue, was advised to get a new charge cable and they would only pay $15 for it. The problem did not go away, and after 6 months they said it was no longer under warranty. They would not reply to my formal complaint and would not give me any details of the company for me to report them to the Tribunal.
Returned defect drone without problem
Bought Drone from BuyMobile in October for Christmas. Drone flew fine when we tested on Christmas Day.
One week later the drone made an uncontrolled crash ( this is a drone that is GPS controlled, and if it loses contact to controller, has a build in return to home feature ). The drone was badly damaged. I contacted BuyMobile, and was provided with a return label, and was refunded. Thank you BuyMobile !

Scammers...Avoid at all costs!
I bought a mobile phone which had a fault. When I returned the phone they agreed it had a fault, but did not give me my full refund. The phone was still under warranty but they refused to abide by Australian Consumer laws (even though they are an Australian company based in Australia). Instead they refunded me a lesser amount claiming that they only need to refund the cost that it was last advertised at???!!! A 12 month warranty means that if your phone has an issue within that time it needs to be fixed, replaced or refunded (in full). They re...fused to fix it, could not replace it then only partially refunded me. Now I am taking it up with the ACCC. For all the others out there getting these problems...make sure you lodge it with fair trading and ACCC! Don't let these dodgy tactics mean you are out of pocket.
Paid for a phone listed on the website. Two days later received email stating that phone was unavailable & requesting I advise them if okay to update the order with alternative phone. Looked at suggested alternative & decided not to proceed so requested a refund. No action, other than automated response saying my email had been received. One week later & still no refund, however three more emails asking to swap phones. Replied to each one requesting refund but still, nothing. Have contacted PayPal to hopefully have action taken
Samsung Duo Charger
Samsung Duo charger worked poorly from day 1. Would not charge phone and Samsung S3 watch as intended. Once returned, they said "their technician checked it and working ok". They refused to provide any form of proof of the technicians test and would not refund the full amount, instead keeping a "restocking fee". Total frauds and not work a pinch of salt. Give them a big miss.
Not located in Australia, items from Hong Kong
Purchased an item thinking it was in Australia as their website presents themselves as being a local Australian online retailer with a .com.au website etc. Had to pay $15 for shipping which should've been the first red flag but I assumed this was for an express courier.
Days later the transaction was still pending & I discover email is the better option to contact them (02 phone number is on website but not on tax invoice), they have a bizarre verification process for payments that takes days & when you finally get shipping notifications its co...

Colour me surprised
I'd been hunting a very specific phone model (Asus ROG 2) for quite a while since it was only a small release. So imagine my face when the only apparent remaining stock for the international version (and thus Australia compatible) comes from buymobile.com.au. I'd never heard of it so the first thing I did was Google it + "review" and wound up here looking at a lot of mixed reviews.
Maybe I'm stupid, but I really wanted this damn phone and literally no one else is stocking it. That just made me even more suss to be honest, but I contacted them ...directly anyway to confirm it wasn't a Chinese/flashed version and was met with very reassuring and thorough customer service who actually went to their hardware specialist to get specific answers about the phone for me. I figured, okay, as long as I purchase with PayPal, I can always raise a claim if anything doesn't match the listing at all and double checked that they would have my back in that case (and they do!) Well flash forward a few days (and one shipping slip-up, not exactly related to buymobile itself) and I've got the damn phone in perfect condition, a complimentary Australian adapter (the power plug is European by default) and a thank you note from the buymobile team all wrapped in a nice branded cord-tie bag. I booted it up and it's exactly as described, definitely the International hardware as they outlined. I don't know if I'm just lucky or what, but that was some surprisingly amazing service for a random mobile website! I mean, move at your own discretion, but I can personally attest that I got exactly what I wanted. The customer service is amazing and very contactable, so maybe just drop a line before making any purchases so you can ensure any outlying details beforehand? I'd definitely shop here again in a heartbeat. Also, if you have any trouble with DPEX shipping in Australia, just contact your local Toll branch. They can help you out.

Product Broke one month after 6 month warranty expired and was told "it's normal"
Bought a Momax Wireless Car Charging unit from them, had a look, they don't sell them anymore. Wonder why! Worked great when it did, overheated sometimes but that was in the direct sunlight.
After 7 months of use, not everyday, but most days, the part where the cable sticks in started getting loose and wouldn't connect properly at all, thusly not turning on. Okay, easy fix, I thought. Tell them the issue and was told to shove off essentially, in a nice 'business' manner of course.
Since it's just out of warranty, they won't fix or replace it,...
Very dodgy phones, bad refund policies
I ordered a Blackberry KeyOne phone from these people, as they offered zip pay and a friend of mine really wanted a physical keyboard and few others offered this phone in particular. Received the phone, only to find that phone calls were very problematic, signal was rubbish and it was almost impossible to have a phone conversation on it. Sent it back to an address in Robina, and they couldn't seem to reproduce the problem, so only offered me a "change of mind" refund, which means no refund for postage ($19) and $35 re-stocking fee. Apparently that's legal if they state it in their policy and whatnot, but it just feels dodgy.
Also, when doing a factory reset on the phone, it defaulted to Chinese language. Obviously not meant for use in Aus!
wow what a phone
Excellent phone , excellent service and helpful staff
Fast delivery service

Never will buy with buymobile.com.au again
I do have negative experience with this seller. Them way of selling is cheating people. They charge more for the delivery than it actually costs (they position as an australian so I think AUD 50 delivery is unreal cost for delivery. BTW the delivery cost on a website is diffirent any time - how is it possible?). As a result, they always win even if item is broken and buyer return it, and the buyer plays Russian Roulette. I played and lost. They asked to send them the item but I have no guarantee that they will return at least some money to me, they didn't even send me an email with the order details, no any proving of my purchase. It should not be. Be careful.

I purchased one Blackberry Key2 and three Blackberry Evolve handsets. With all of the problems with the hacking of Android phones and the recent revelations about long-term holes in the security of Apples iOs I wanted to take all the steps necessary to avoid being exposed...hence the Blackberry. The Key2 was fantastic straight out of the box--connected to Telstra via ALDIMobile and is still the best phone I have owned for work purposes in 20 years. The Evolves would not connect to Telstra for voice calls, only data, despite being told by Telstr...a that the spectrum they work on for 4G was OK. So, we lost accumulated roll-over data and went to Optus SIM cards, which have a very poor reception in our area despite being within coooeee of the Sydney CBD. Then the static with the earphones in and the stop-start of YouTube began within a week, despite being connected to WiFi at 47Mbps download speed. Numerous complaints to the chat line and emails, some not returned for more than a week. Finally, the 3 Evolve handsets went back, and I did purchase one more Key2, but went to JBHifi for two Samsung Galaxy handsets --their Fort Knox security program does rate well, if not as good as Blackberry. And yes, following cajoling and threats involving the Department of Fair Trading (no, this was no bluff), I received a refund for the three Evolve handsets. I was financially down having had to pay for Australia Post for the returns, the lost Telstra roll-over and breaking of a contract and the pre-purchase of the 3 Optus SIMs, but I considered after a month of to-and-fro that it was time to end it. Would I buy again, strangely yes, because in the end BuyMobile Australia came through honourably and I hope that through this particular experience that they have taken the time to review their customer service actions when things don't go well and not just have the Chat Line parrot the usual customer service platitudes.
Buyer beware. Apparent 7-10 day processing time where stock isn't held and it goes out of stock, avoids refunds at All cost been over a week no mobile no refund little communication
rip off, negligent service
Do NOT buy from this merchant. I ordered a phone and sd card. they sent the phone which has had multiple issues, and no sd card. i have emailed multiple times about it and the reception drones keep saying that the warehouse said they sent it so i should check the packaging.
they are stubborn, arrogant, and I am getting nowhere.
will be contacting the ACCC.
seriously, a $30 sd card, why would i lie about this? if i was going to lie i'd say the $200 phone never came!
also, another suspicious thing to note, as soon as I ordered the sony xperia L1 g3313, they removed it from their website
Don't use BuyMobile
I bought Apple Airpods from BuyMobile Australia through Amazon Marketplace. My order was confirmed, but 2 days later they cancelled it, saying there was an 'error on the listing'. Since the same product was then made available by them for a much higher price, the 'error' was presumably that they put too low a price on their original listing. Their error, but I have to pay the price for their mistake. Don't trust them!!
Bought a mi 9 mobile, no difficulties at all
I was quite concerned about buying a $700 item, as I have been burnt by similar sites before. I am pleased to say I have my new phone within 7 days of purchase, with no difficulties at all.
Shipping was quite fast once verification was complete, the box came shrink wrapped, and the phone is working just as one would expect. Very happy.
Bought a wireless earphone from under armour but it's broken
I got a faulty product from them, and support after replying 1 email, never responded again, now I still have the faulty product with no support at all.
Would never buy from this website again
Great phone and delivered quickly with one little issue in that the box Samsung seal had already been broken, though no sign that content had been tampered with. If it was not for that little issue, I would have given 5 stars. Would do buy from buy mobile again...

Great communication but slowwe than stated delivery.
Vivo V11 - Bought from this site as it's domain was based in Australia, as I needed a phone quickly, only to find out you are buying from Hong Kong. To be fair the website does state this, so just be wary if you looking for quick delivery to Oz. Paid $40 extra for express delivery (1 to 5 days), but all up including the verification process (slow and took 4 days) was 13 days. The online communication was concise and with quick replies so felt overall customer service was very good.
The phone was delivered in a sealed box and so far phone has been been working as promised over the first 2 days.
Questions & Answers
has anyone bought a Microsoft Surface 7 from them? the price is really interesting but I'm not sure if I go ahead because of so many bad reviews. if anyone can help with that I would appreciate it
Has any brought a Samsung A50 or A70 6-8gb ram 128gb phone? Are the phones brand new? I can wait 10-14 days for it to arrive but just want to see if they brand new or are they just the ones people send back and they rebox them?
has anyone bought a Sony Xperia Z5 compact from buy mobile. Did you receive it? I've had a bad experience with android enjoyed and hoping this is going to be the same IE no contact or phone for weeks.
Sorry no i havent brought one of them phones only eva had samsung and Nokia i would choice Android over anythink these days
Unfortunately, I must pick the phones that aren't available (despite the sellers advertising that they have a certain amount left). Another waste of time transferring money back and forth and still left with my 6-year-old Sony Xperia sp. They have been quick with communications and in offering a refund so have to give them a couple of stars for that.I did appreciate them promptly letting me know phone out of stock and helped try to find me something similar...
