horrendously bad. I used it once and won't ever use it again. would prefer to leave a review for the product itself and not Cable Chick but I can't work out how to do it.

I purchased this cable for the Marantz cinema 30 to run to a jvc 4k projector and chose the cable as it read to be the best and had a 5 year warranty. with the projector it worked. After running it through the wall and ceiling from the AVR to the projector it did the same with taking a while to blink although this time it took longer the more it seemed to be used until it stopped working. I tried the cable direct to the Apple TV and the Panasonic 9000 blu ray player and it worked perfectly.

I called cable chick who told me that they had had a few people experience the same issue with different AVRs even an employee. However said I could send it back for testing and a possible refund or wait for the supplier to respond about the issue.

After a few weeks I received an email to state that the supplier reported no issue and cable chick would only give a $25 refund for a cable that all up was $197 when posted.

I will follow this up with the ombudsmen and consumer affairs.

I purchased a replacement cable locally through Shelby’s who were surprised at what I had experienced with cable chick. The cable worked first time and cheaper than the avencore.

Buyer beware and my advice would be buy locally when you can.

Yes indeed optical is better. The link was used to connect a Yamaha network CD player to an Onkyo amplifier. This allowed me to use the CD optics with the Onkyo D/A converter. My objective was to ensure that the various sources of the music system could be input balanced to the same gain. As most of you know the analogue output of Cd players can be high (typically 2.0 volts). This can be a problem when using tape and lp pre-amp sources. My solution was to allow the Onkyo handle the analogue sources for tape and FM radio and direct optical link for the digital output of the Yamaha Network player. In short all digital sources fed into the Onkyo via the Avencore Platinum 2m TOSLINK Digital Optical Audio Cable. The result was all sources gave similar output at the speakers for a given volume control position. This was my primary objective. One of the side benefits of using the optical cable is that there is no interruption from radio interference which can occur if you use a digital audio connection from the player to the input of the amplifier D/A. As a moan it is time that the laws to do with motor noise suppression are enforced as, nearly on a daily basis, motor bikes, cars and other vehicles with “souped up” performance zoom pass my house leaving “dirty air” for my wi-fi and other kit to “see through” to play my media and not always successfully. only people who gave me the detailed information I was after, the product looked robust, they had good reviews, and the price was reasonable and less than what was being offered on other sites with less information, so I placed my order.

When I received it which was very fast, I was pleased to see the specification of the splitter was written on it confirming the online description, and it was a more robust and quality product than I expected. In short what they offered was was what they sent in absolute detail.

I have since fitted the splitter which works perfectly. The thing I like most about Cable Chick is what they show you on the screen is exactly what you receive. All aspects relating to taking the order, tracking and freight are excellent.

Sensor lights don't work. Don't purchase from Cable Chick – Purchased the 6-PACK Rechargeable Wall Sensor Light (Multi-Mode, USB-C Rechargable) and they do not work. We ordered 6 lights, and 5 of them are not sensitive at all unless they are touched or shaken. I've got videos to support these claims, which I can send through via email. We are very disappointed.

a port that says USBxxx (Unknown Printer) and select that. Click Next Find your printer model in the list, select it and follow the prompts after that. You might have to give it a different name if it already existed. I just added USB to the name. Eventually it will add the printer and you can use it, and it works fine :)
