Great Little Machine – Has not let me down in three years of daily use multiple times a day. I use re-usable Caffitaly pods and now I'm desperately searching for this design/quality - I think I dropped the water tank a little too heavy yesterday - now water won't move through the pod. No one needs to spend more than $120 for excellent coffee. Totally recommend this machine. Horrribly, Woolworths is still selling the Caffitaly pods but not the compatible machine. Show details

Eventually leaked – I had my machine work flawlessly for 2 years doing a light to moderate volume eg 2 cups a few times a week. By other reviews this seems really good but I'd expect better. The product is good, volume and temperature consistent though pod choice has a lot to do with the overall pour and so is entirely subjective. Therefore I want to concentrate on… Read more

the machine itself. Today I woke to a pool of water - the reservoir's glue has given up. I am trying to source a new tank, which is actually 2/3 of the price of an S24 but it is a terrible waste to discard the rest of the machine if I can't get the part. This is where my issues with it lies - I don't want to be one of the dudes above on their 4th machine. It should be cheap to get people into their brand of pods, not because of the build quality. The tank should ideally be formed from a single moulded part and I'm concerned about"new" tanks being old stock with glue breaking down. I wouldn't recommend the S-series if you're conscious about ewaste.

4 Machines Later – I am getting a bit tired of replacing the Caffitaly coffee machines. This is now my 4th machine that has failed, the first three both put volumes of water in the capsule capture container and now this machine is leaking like a shower from the rear water-tank. Being a very regular shopper at Woolworths as my rewards will show (member 9344509… Read more

54116) have only bought Caffitaly coffee pods or the compatibles as marked on the packaging.

The leaking water-tank is now a really a different story.

It looks like it has exploded with cracks appearing everywhere.

I have just tried to find a source for a replacement tank and find that the suppliers are out of stock, item SKU: CIS21WTANK with no indication of re-stocking or offering a e-mail to make contact.

The fist machine, Model S04 lasted for approx. 9 months before water went every where. The second machine, Model S21 Red was purchased 12th June 2015 and lasted until 18th February 2016 This third machine lasted until 6th November 2016 The last one where the water-tank has now exploded has lasted until now 21 September 2019 (not bad by comparison to the past)

I have the receipts for all but the first machine.

Still holding supplies of the coffee capsules and don't want to waste them.

Does anybody take responsibility for the lack of quality of these machines let alone the reputation to Woolworths for being major distributors of this equipment.

Caffitaly S21 - The machine that every body can have – The Pods for the Caffitaly S21 are available from several sources, Woolworths, Coles, IGA, and a few others which is easy for the end user. Not having to send an order to a particular store and await delivery, I am able to get the Pods in my local area. Simple to use even I can not make a mistake. Just lift the lever and place the Pod into the… Read more

slot and return the lever to the closed position. There are three lights on the front of the machine two (White lights) shaped like a full cup (one shot) and the other like a half cup (half shot) and another Blue light) shaped like a tall glass which dispensers only water. It is easy to set the liquid dispensed to the amount you want. The coffee Pods come in a light smooth coffee taste, or for the real coffee lover, strong s you like. Gloria Jeans, Map are just a few of the suppliers of the Pods along with Woolworth's pods. Easy to clean, just like making a coffee but with a filter inserted instead of a Pod.

Since purchasing the Caffitaly S21 I have not visited the coffee shops as much as I used to. Get a Caffitaly S21 and see the real difference.

Love my coffee – This machine is easy to use and allows me to try various coffee types as the mood takes me Love Gloria Jeans mostly I must say, but others ok Easy to fill, see water level, easy to empty used capsules One issue is that some capsules seem to not work as well - some trouble with Woolworths Capsules a while ago so we have not bought them again… Read more

recently.

Other issue is amount of water that runs into the capsule catcher compartment - ok, as long as you remember and do not slop it around when you take the container out to empty - also must drain water first before binning the old capsules, else very watery bin.

Like the easy method of changing the amount of coffee dispensed - and also the easy clean.

No complaints - not like the S20 we had which just kind of stopped working and on trying to contact Caffeitaly received no response or help with how to fix it....so it went in the garbage. I must say that if we had not bought the S21 prior to that problem, we would not have bought it - but we are happy with the S21

Works Well! For a while - it's been 6 months now – Great convenient coffee maker, Great value for money, never replace a proper barista coffee machine from your favorite coffee shop, the only problem with it is it doesn't last. I have had 3 in 2 years, great service from woolworths, getting it exchanged no problems. In the end i email caffitaly systems and asked why this keeps happening? They… Read more

asked me a few questions how often i make a coffee, what pods i use etc and say they do not know why the machine leaks into the used pod tray. Hmm.

I did my own survey and asked family and friends who have these machines and this leaking into the pod tray is a common problem and what be know as an "inherent problem".

By reading all these reviews it definitely is an "inherent problem" and that is the reason they are replaced no questions asked by Woolworth.

A lot of people though go out and buy another machine for $49 if it lasts two years it's still good value.

I went and purchased the new Caffitaly Red S21, after 3 S14 exchanges, the S21 costs more but if it lasts it will be worth it. So far so good i have had it 3 months and will review it in other 3 - 6 months as my S14's lasted 3 - 6 months.

Three months (05/10/2015) now since i posted my review on the S21, now have had the unit 6 months and still going strong, i make about 1 pod a day as an average. So i'll post another update in another 3 Months.

If you do have any questions regarding any "Caffitaly" machines e-mail them direct and found them very reasonable to deal with, prompt at answering emails with my enquiries.

Have loved this machine - RIP – My machine has been great. Well worth the purchase, nice coffee at home, so sad it suddenly died. A tiny metal blade on a pin dropped into the drawer the other day , and that was that !I had it for almost 2 years and have replaced it with the S24, which sadly does not come in red - only black.  Show details

You can make your own coffee at your home!! – I bought it at woolies last year. You can have a variety of strength coffee capsule at woolies also. It is very useful for me every morning. It is easy to use and to descale as you know. it has 3 buttons to use (for one shot, double shots and tea button).  Show details

Nice coffee! – I bought this coffee machine when it was half price at Woolworths since I didn't have on and it came with 10 free capsules. I was pretty amazed how easy to use it and it produces a pretty good coffee. Not much cleaning to do, only have to clean the empty capsules pouch regularly.  Show details

Not Bad – The machine itself is not bad. It is very easy to use and it makes the coffee in no time. Coffee comes out not too hot for those who like it hot. Those who like it extra hot should not even consider it. The coffee taste is not so good and the compatible tablets are not the best. Gloria Jeans however is compatible which is a plus.  Show details

only lasted 16 months – I bought the S21 model from Woolworths on 9th August 1916. It replaced an older one which had lasted 4 or more years. This one has just started leaking and so I am not very happy and will be returning to Woolworths to try and get a replacement. It should last 17 months, particularly as I am a one person household.  Show details

I depend on it every day – I love my machine and use it every day, you can use many brands of pods, and usually some brand are on special at coles or safeways, even sometimes at NQR. I remove the old coffee grains, and use them on my garden and pot plants. Its so easy to use and clean. No problems at all.  Show details

Lovely Coffee – I love this machine I bought it in Woolworths on special and use the Woolworths own brand capsules, it is easy to use and clean, and makes fantastic coffee it can be used for tea but have noted that it has an undertone of coffee to the flavor and it is not hot enough for me, it might be ok with a cocoa capsule as the flavor of coffee would be a lot less.  Show details

Really affordable - if the machine lasts a couple of years you're in front! – I have had a number of these machines now. Having found them realistically priced I bought one for each of my daughters, one for work and another for home. My current machine is a couple of years old, I had one previously fail but it had worked really hard for me for so long and cost so little I didn't mind the change of look. The coffee pods it… Read more

accepts are any that have the Cafeitaly logo on the box. I've tried many others but these have a great flavour and our reps who call in are always happy with the offer of a coffee from us :). I will continue to be a fan as the cost of the pods is also reasonable and taste better than Star Bucks, McDonalds and many other outlets. I bought a simple milk frother from the supermarket (Aldi) and away you go!

Best coffee machine ever – Love the taste of woolworths pods cheapest and best.Minor fault as with all coffee machines have to heat the milk.Easy to use although it does sometimes decide to make a smaller cup of coffee, but re priming it fixes the problem. Its a bit noisy but for the price I can get used to it.Very easy to clean.has a slimline shape and is not out of place in the kitchen.  Show details

Im happy – I purchased the S21 after having continual problems with an expensive Delonghi coffee machine. This unit is simple to use, drop in a pod, close the lever and press start & easy to clean. months as indicated by the machine is again easy - lots of different options available. Excellent instructions come with the unit. I have found I purchase the Woolworhts pods about 39 cents each or the Moccona pods when on special. Hint - I make the coffee on the shot setting set at 150 mm, and add similar quantity of milk. Good result, although like all coffee machines, one may need to heat either the milk or coffee in the microwave,

Cheap but not nasty – Got this machine for $50 from Woolworths supermarket on special (1/2 price) and have not had a problem ever with it. very much but I do enjoy a cup from this machine. There's always one of the partnership brands on special on the shelf in one of the supermarkets.

Just a no fuss honest machine that makes a simple fresh quality coffee. No wiz bangery and probably not for the inner city coffee snob types. Although I do know a hipster who swears by his.

Great little machine – Our coffee machine is probably the most important appliance in our house. Good when working – We enjoyed the taste of the coffee and variety of coffee pod options for this machine . This was our second machine of the same variety. I bought a second after the first one stopped functioning properly just over a year of having it . The second one only lasted 5 months before playing up . Very disappointed  Show details

Love this coffee machine, simple, easy to clean – I bought this coffee machine from Woolworths a couple of years ago on sale (1/2 price) and make on average 3-6 cups a day. The capsules are very reasonable and the coffee is café quality especially if you buy a milk frother. I would not hesitate to buy this machine again even at full price as it has been easy to clean and very easy to use, even my ten year old can make me a cup of coffee.  Show details

Excellent. It delivers – This compact machine has a consistent delivery with great crema. Easy to use, large water tank, ready in seconds with good pressure. I'd buy it again, especially as the price is good and the machine is readily available. Pods are reasonably easy to access. I did hear that they are extending their range to include other makes of pods... good.  Show details

Nice compact size, making great Coffee Capsules Machine – This coffee capsules machine is not large, but of a good design & compact size, which suits well a single person like me.It is easy to use & is easy to clean, making nice & delicious coffee. I find only 1 thing, which takes place from time to time, that bothers me,ie : a coffee capsule sinks down to the bottom of the machine, instead of float in its middle, thus I have to make an extra effort to open it.  Show details

Love my coffee machine – such a good little coffee machine. Even my husband can use to which is saying a lot ! The coffee tastes great and I can't live without it now. It's very easy to clean , and really the only fault I can pick with it is sometimes the coffee pod falls through to the bottom instead of staying in the middle to get poked. Has Silly Cleaning Pod & Little Steel Spear Fell Into My Cup! – It's a good looking machine and makes a good cup of coffee, but the cleaning pod is very annoying. easy to lose or throw away with the used pods if you are not careful. Second problem, a little steel spear about an inch long fell into my cup. I think it is the main part that is used to pierce the pods? Could be very dangerous and I am trying to talk to the makers about this currently. So for now, for me, the S21 is unfortunately a fail.
